hubby: we are going for sight seeing and also to celebrate our... wedding anniversary.

hubby: yes. I have been to the UK for studies and The US for a conference.

VO: (directs question at me)madam what do you do?

me: I work with ....
VO:how long have you been working
me:since 201..
VO : how much do you earn
me: i earn......
VOBack to hubby)Do you have your visas in the passprt with me?
Hubby: No . I have it in the expired passport. (pass the pp to the vo) with a card in between the pp. the card dropped on the vo table ,picked it and checked through.i guess the vo couldnt understand what tje card was and asked hubby what it is.
hubby:its a resident card issued when i was in the Uk for my post study blabla
VO: oh!i dont need it. pass it back. and chexked though the pages of the Pp.
VO:what do you say you do
hubby: i lecture at so so universty, so so dept.
VO: why have you not visited thr US since 201.. (refering to the year the old visa expired) meanwhile our daughter was requesting for attention wanting to join the conversation.. daddy daddy i want.... i had to keep her calm
hubby; I do not have a reason to travel until now
VO:WHAT properties do you have
Hubby: ........
VO: what other properties
hubby: well except for our car
Vo:what kind?
hubby.......

VO: i am going to issue your visa.. bla bla
hubby and I : thank you .. but u have not retuelrned my old pp to me
VO: yes i am going to keep it. you will have to pick it up together wit.....

ive been a silent and ardent follower of this thread. we had our interview sometimes last week and twas a Yes! thanks to everyone who contribute to this thread.... all the silly questions,genuine experiences have all contributed to become a wealth of knowledge. We followed through, painstakinly filled the form by ourselves,go over the forms individually and also together to ensure we donot make any mistake before we submitted. Though the interviw date we got was close to our planned date .... but in all we thank God for favour. transcipt loading....

After filling out the ds160 and making the necessary payment for visa application fee,do i have to schedule an appointment to use the drop box or i should just send the ds160confirmation page , visa payment receipt and int'l passport and supporting doument through designated dhl. thanks
