Declaration of state of emergency is subject to National Assembly approval and only require the president to take extraordinary measures that does not include suspending elected government!

Most Africans are intelligent but their only problem is that they don't read, the section 305 of the constitution is clear on this matter. So Mr President doesn't need the NAS approval before declaring the state of emergency when the matter arrises.

But OBJ has the rule in 2004 & 2006 from the same 1999 constitution we are still using till this moment. And what's PDP looking at that they allow the situation in Rivers to detoriate.
