Got to the hospital at 4 am. The nurse tried VE but could not gain access as the membrane was obstructing the examination. Then she burst the membrane and discovered that I was already 8cm. She asked me to stand up for a while and lie when am tired. So I did. After a while I lay down and then came the almighty pains. It was as though my waist was about to be ripped off. I felt the urge to poo but the nurse told me not to try it as it is my baby's head that is causing the urge to poo, she advised I put breathing techniques to practice but that wasn't reliving the pains. After a short while she then asked me to push when I feel the urge again. After about 3 push my baby came at 5:30am though I was given episiotomy. God is faithful.
@ Surysuri.May God console and comfort you. He will surely give you double for your loss all you need do is have faith and trust Him. It is well with you.

My birthstory:
I went 4 my antenatal checkup on 25th April,was told I was already dilating(4cm),'n I've been contractin lyk 1 in evry 10mins,bt was asked to come bck wen it becomes lyk 1 in evry 5-7mins.bt d contraction ws nt strong,so it continued. On 30th April,took a long walk in d evenin,had a gud kpekus wit DH,afta wic we prayed 'n agreed dat I would hv my babies on May 1st. I woke up hvin some menstrual cramp-like pain,took breakfast 'n jejely went to d hospital,was on drip containin oxytocin to fasten labour,but it was stil not regular,not until my membrane was ruptured,'n d main tin startd. In a short while i felt d urge to push,was taken to d delivery room 'n baby1 was delivered. It took 20mins 4 baby2 to b delivered,because d Dr had to do some manipulations b4 he ws born. My EDD is 27th may but i had dem on 1st,each weighin 3kg without tear. But in all i giv thanks to God. Sorry 4 d long epistle.

I was having similar pain in my lower abdomen throughout yesterday(like menstrual cramps kind of) and I'm 25wks. I just noticed dt it has reduced today. I pray all is well.

D truth s dat d dr i was using then gv me salbutamol, i wasnt so comfortable so sought a 2nd opinion. D 2nd dr told me i may nt b needing it, dat i shld tk it only if d contractions become painful and den report to d hsptl. D contraction never became painful before term so i didnt tk d drug.

The same opinion was given to me but my Dr kicked against it. But I think I will do what is best for me. Thanks for your candid response.

Hi moms,
I'm new here 'n would want to b a part of u,i'm 25wks gone wit twins,but startd feelin dis painless contraction at 24wks,saw my Dr,'n he treated mi of malaria because of oda signs i had,also gave mi a pink tab(sabutanol) for d contraction.he said I shld rest well 'n wil b on dat drug(3x dly) til 36wks,but d drug makes mi feel dizzy alot 'n breathless,has any1 been on dis drug,hw was delivery? A big congrats to all d new moms,for d pushin mamas,we shall all carry to term IJN.
