Visa alert!!!

Biometric- 19th August 2024 (standard)
Transferred to DMC- 19th August
Received by DMC - 20th August ( An Empty NSF mail was sent almost immediately)

Then the wait began. About 4 paid calls were made, still awaiting decision. I was knackered lol.

Escalated on - 11th September

Paid mail- 14th September, still awaiting decision omo!

Another paid mail - 18th September and Decision was made finally.

Application moved to VAC and received by VAC - 19th September

Brp mail - 19th September but dated 17th sept.

I was inspired by your testimonies during those difficult times, it was a lifeline. Thanks y'all.

If you’ve not booked the ticket please book another airline to avoid stories that touch or rather call the airport office of this airline to be sure but I know a stop in Europe requires a transit visa. Turkish airlines is currently on sales and you’ll get affordable prices.

Yes you need a transit visa.

But the stop at switz is a technical stop, I won't be going off the plane

2 stops at Addis ababa and Switzerland, is transit visa needed for this?

I just got a mail that a decision has been made on my application. How long can it take to move to VAC?

Please i have a question: Would I still be able to upload my documents myself on the TLS website if I pay for the "Appointment Assisted Service - Regular"? I can't schedule an appointment unless I pay for one of their services and this is the cheapest I can see.

Yes you can, I did same thing. When you open your tls login page, open a new tab beside the existing tab and paste this link below and you should be able to upload your documents.

Not exactly, I studied Marine engineering for first degree and applying for Engineering management for masters.

Yes, my POF showed when I transferred my school fee /living expenses (I think that was why they asked for source of funds)

Okay, congrats, e no easy. For me I did my biometric on the 19th (Monday) and it got received by DMC the following day (20th) followed by an empty nsf that same day and since then I haven't heard anything from them, it's still on Received by DMC.
I know it's still too early to be worried but the NSF mail is what scares me.
Though I have no study gap, graduated last year and completed NYSC last month (included that cert too in documents uploaded) and my POF shows no large transactions. I did everything fine. Just wondering why I still got empty NSF but hopefully I hear from them soon.

School sent an email that my CAS has been used:20th August 2024
Transferred and received by VAC : 22nd August 2024
Collection mail TLS: 22nd August 2024
Brp mail : 22nd August 2024 (late at night)
I pray for everyone that’s awaiting a decision,may all your visas be granted in Jesus name .

Did you have to make a paid call? What school? And did your POF show a large transaction?

Please who also did biometric Monday 19th Aug, any update?
