Who builds a business around luck? Bookies spend millions of #/$/€ annually on customer acquisition and other administrative expenses. And you think they believe in luck to make profits? The people sustaining the soft bookies and betting space in general, are mug punters and those who bet for passion or sentiments. If everybody was skilled and informed about how odds compilation works. All soft bookies would have been out of business by now.

Until the recent ban on gambling sponsors on the front of jerseys by the EPL management. Do you know how much bookies pay just to have their logos on big teams' jerseys? And you expect them to count on luck to make a profit from such a huge investment? Common, that sounds too funny and naive.

If sports betting is all about luck, why do soft bookies restrict customers' accounts? What are they afraid of? Luck has very little or no effect on sports betting, skill does.

Sports / Re: Kylian Mbappe Scores Hat-trick As PSG Hit Montpellier For Six by SportsHighLight: 10:04am On Mar 19
Ashleyokeneye:

Kylian Mbappé Lottin is a French professional footballer who plays as a forward for Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain and captains the France national team. Regarded as one of the best players in the world, he is known for his dribbling, speed, and finishing. The unstoppable Kylian Mbappe hit a hat-trick as Paris Saint-Germain romped to a 6-2 win away to Montpellier on Sunday that allowed them to open up a huge 12-point lead at the top of Ligue 1.

Vitinha put PSG ahead at the Stade de la Mosson and Mbappe doubled their advantage midway through the first half, only for an Arnaud Nordin header and a Teji Savanier penalty to bring Montpellier back level at the interval. However, a marvellous Mbappe goal restored PSG’s lead shortly after the break and Lee Kang-in made it 4-2 before the France captain completed his hat-trick. Nuno Mendes put the seal on victory late on as Luis Enrique’s side ended a run of three successive draws in Ligue 1 and extended an unbeaten domestic record stretching back to September.

A 1-1 draw for nearest challenger Brest against Lille earlier on Sunday means the Parisians are now 12 points ahead at the Ligue 1 summit with only eight games left, and a 10th title in 12 seasons is an inevitability. Mbappe completed the whole 90 minutes of a Ligue 1 game for the first time since informing the club in mid-February that he intended to leave at the end of the season when his contract expires. His hat-trick, his third of the campaign, took him to 24 goals in Ligue 1 this season and 38 in all competitions.

Portugal midfielder Vitinha opened the scoring in the 14th minute, collecting Mbappe’s pass 25 metres from goal before curling a low shot into the bottom-right corner. Mbappe then made it 2-0 on the counterattack, feeding Randal Kolo Muani and then sprinting to get the ball back and slot into the far corner from a tight angle. Montpellier got one back when Danilo Pereira could only help on a cross from the left and Nordin — a friend of Mbappe’s as a youngster at Clairefontaine, France’s national youth academy — headed in at the back post.

The home side then won a penalty right at half-time when Tanguy Coulibaly pounced on Pereira’s short back-pass before being clattered by PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma. Teji Savanier smashed in the spot-kick, but PSG were back ahead five minutes after the restart as Mbappe scored with a superb shot from range, in off the underside of the crossbar. South Korean star Lee made it 4-2 on 53 minutes, playing a one-two with Kolo Muani and firing in from outside the area on his left foot. Mbappe then completed his hat-trick with a right-foot finish after latching onto a ball over the top, before Montpellier had a second penalty award overturned following a VAR review.

Predicting the winner of the UEFA Champions League can be quite challenging due to the unpredictability of football. However, some teams often stand out as strong contenders based on their current form, squad quality, and previous performances.

As of my last update, some of the top contenders for the UEFA Champions League title include perennial powerhouses like Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Liverpool, and Paris Saint-Germain. These teams have consistently performed well in both domestic and European competitions and boast talented squads.

However, unexpected upsets and underdog stories are also common in the Champions League, making it difficult to make a definitive prediction. It often comes down to factors such as injuries, form, and tactical decisions during the knockout stages.

If I were to make a prediction based on the information available, I might lean towards a team like Bayern Munich or Manchester City due to their overall strength and depth. But again, anything can happen in football, and the beauty of the Champions League lies in its unpredictability.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has appointed Augustine Eguavoen as interim coach of the team. It’s the fourth time Eguavoen is managinlu6 m g the national team. Eguavoen’s appointment comes barely 24 hours after former coach Jose Peseiro resigned due to contract expiration.

Eguavoen was appointed the caretaker coach of the Nigeria national team in June 2005 with his coaching staff including Samson Siasia, Daniel Amokachi and Ike Shorunmu. He managed the national team at the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, where the team won a bronze medal, beating Senegal in the third-place play-off. He was sacked in April 2006. In June 2010, the Nigeria Football Federation asked Eguavoen to replace Swedish Lars Lagerbäck until he decided his future plans. He was brought in as caretaker manager but said that he has no intention of submitting an application to take the role on a permanent basis.

Eguavoen was also appointed as the head coach of the Nigeria national under-23 football team in August 2010. He expected his team would have a qualification for the 2012 London Olympic Games, but they were knocked out in the group stage. On 5 December 2011, he resigned from his job following the failure to secure the Olympics ticket. On 12 December 2021, Eguavoen was again appointed manager of Nigeria on an interim basis for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, following the departure of Gernot Rohr. After Nigeria exited from the round of sixteen with an agonizing defeat to Tunisia, he returned to his position as the Technical Director of the side.
