The thing surprised me, the way learned men, professors and the elite of yorubaland queued up behind bubu who has zero classroom experience was just shameful.

The yorubas don't care if the herdsmen kill over 1 million people. As long as buhari will handover power to them in 2023. They're very much comfortable with the Killings.
This is very unfortunate.
PoliticsYorubas Has Lost This Bet by Sprumbabafather(op): 9:19am On Jan 11, 2018
Much respect for my yoruba sophisticated strategists but it's becoming clear by the day that they have lost this bet. The horse they backed for the race won, but the price they were supposed to get has been given to the north. Forget the VP position which you all know is a figure head and totally caged and inconsequential to the whole arrangement. The guy is a mere rubber stamp kept there to fill a post, his opinion is worth less than that of a local government chairman from Kano.
I nearly laughed yesterday when the NIIA position of a yorubaman was given to a greenhorn, Abubakar in continuation of the pattern created from 2015. At least Jonathan would have replaced the sacked DG with another yoruba man.
Fashola has lost his voice, drowned out by bigger forces who continues to pile work on his head, taking any little praise from him if any, and heaping blames on his head for the mess in his ministries. Tinubu? Caged in Lagos, a complete outsider to the corridors of power since the very day Bubu was sworn in . Afenifere can complain, Oodua youths can whine and cry, OPC can fume from morning till night but nothing has changed. It took many months to convince the powers that be to look into the case of Oba of Ile ife who was thrown into jail with 20 yoruba men and women like common criminals just because his subjects retaliated against the northern rape and murder.
I don't know what they planned to gain from backing this evil government, but I think they are losing everything, including their shirts in this bet gone sour. But I suggest they appease the north for things to change. Maybe a large swathe of land, like 4,000 hectares of land from yorubaland given to the herdsmen to form a national grazing field for all the cattle in Nigeria can make things right again. We must make this country work somehow.

I have come to realise that we won't make much progress no matter who is president especially a northern candidate but if Buhari was up against Jonathan I would vote Buhari.
If Buhari was up against Atiku I would vote Buhari .
The only thing that seems to make a difference inour economy is oil prices and not who is in charge.
The only thing I would vote for against Buhari is a candidate with a clear and unambiguous restructuring agenda
I will also vote Buharri now and in 2023, as a payback to thise who dragged us into this mess. We need to make a proper collective mistake now. Sai barber! grin

I know this is where he is going. Olodo flat head.

If lagos have ogun, oyo etc to feed it, who is gonna feed entire igboland? You expect ijaw to feed you for free?

Or you don't know that if you don't need atleast one major natural resource to trade to get another thing that comes with land that you don't have?
Eureka! You have now moved out of the argument and moved into Ogun , oyo and Ijaw to feed Yorubas? grin That was smart of you, now clap for your small brain. How much food does Ogun produce now with all their lands sold to omo ibos. How can Lagos chase away Dangote that owns half of the tiny state before they can cultivate a single heap for one yam?

Igbos are the ones choking Yorubas up in South West.

Once you all leave, Yorubas will have breathing space with enough lands for farming, airports and other infrastructures.

Anyone of you that attempts to stay back will be jailed. Simple!
Alas! If only hunger will allow your people stop selling their ancestral lands to omo ibo grin

Just like a good business who realises he has overpaid for his goods. He makes sales cuts his losses and moves on and not sentimentally wait for prices to recover

Of course not..

Why do you think their elders went on begging parade for Arewa youths to withdraw the quit notice.

I always feel pity for them when I see them making noise online, they have no land, no jobs, no resources, nothing.
Erosion has eaten up half of their enclave, is it the dirt we should talk about?
I can't imagine an outbreak of say Ebola in that region. They won't survive it fa

ignoramus. Its not about the number but natural resources.

If all igbos move to south east, there won't be land to do anything else like farming etc.

The whole world population can fit into newyork, yet we are complaining of over population already, why?

South east cannot contain all igbos.
with 25 million people living in Lagos, where are the farms feeding them in lagos grin

How was it a blunder?
That is emotional?
The same south west that voted GEJ in 2011? Was that a blunder? Or were we not here while he reigned.? Why don't we bring him back for PDP in 2019.?
The reality is that GEJ was a disaster and we were right to boot him out.
We cannot pretend even if drunk that GEJ was good for this country
What should concern you more is who is the candidate that can defeat Buhari, if such a candidate does not emerge the SW will vote him again. Attempts to play the guilt card with the SW cannot work it is patently childish. What we are interested in is our own interest .
We learnt a lot from GEJ about our so called partners in the south. As far as the SW is concerned Buhari is better than GEJ
And the irony?
Its the same south west who were screaming blue murder when GEJ was in charge is still screaming red murder now in their beloved bubu regime? grin

Enjoy your change and stop boring us with your self inflicted pain in the you-know-where grin

The next election is in 2019 if you are not happy you know what to do. That is the essence of democracy. Goodluck Jonathan failed and was booted out and I hope Buhari is booted out too.
Those who personalise the matter by abusing those who voted him just don't get it. Democracy is not an exam like JAMB or WAEC . People make choices and stand by their choice like adults. It was Nigerians and not Ghanaians that voted him in.So his failure is the failure of ALL Nigerians including those who did not vote.
That is how democracy works.
More importantly maybe we need to look at our system that places so much power in the hands of one man . In the parliamentary system it would have been possible for the party in power to change him before 2019..
Anyway those who did not vote him should stop the blame game. The only thing I can say is there is zero difference between him and Jonathan
Stop making it seem like a small issue, it was a calculated political blunder for the south west to vote buhaha just to spite the south south and hate Jonathan. This singular decision has pulled the country back by about 20 years and you are here talking democracy bla bla bla. Go and sleep if you don't know what to say.
PoliticsRe: Can The South East Contain All Igbos? by Sprumbabafather: 3:54pm On Jan 06, 2018
Let assume every Nigerian will should go back to his state of origin can the south west contain the Yorubas I see in every state. The parcel of land called south west Nigeria is bigger than Niger state slihtly?
