That's a nonsense aircraft. How could a country be buying JF17, looking at the SU 35 fpr possible acquisition and still be thinking of FTC-2000?
ouch!!!

hi everyone.

Nigeria air force pilots have lot of experience F7 combat aircraft. Why not buying the Guizhou JL-9, also known as the FTC-2000 Mountain Eagle. This aircraft is a F7 with a new wing, a forward fuselage with side air intakes, and a glass cockpit. The engine, empennage, and mechanical controls of the F7 are retained. It is a multi-role combat fighter aircraft and one of the cheapest multirole fighters on the market with the aim to replace old legacy fighters ( like the F7).
For the moment, Nigeria air force will have many FTC-2000 (on which pilots have already lot of experience) as regular combat aircraft and few JF-17 as high end combat aircraft.
