Hundreds of thousands are pledging everyday without any announcement but a ego tripping maniac will let the world know. Less wealthier Americans are giving much more than that without broadcasting it. By the way, with your love and worshiping of a bigoted trump, how much did you donate ?. In most prior Anglo-Saxon we did not have "hate groups." We had people who did, personally, hateful things. If the things they did violated the law then society punished them according to the law. We did not, that is, believe in guilt by association.

Now, we simply proscribe certain groups on the theory that membership in, or sympathy with, them constitutes a de facto crime. This dangerous approach is underwritten, in part, by the Southern Poverty organization that the press -- rather than doing its own research -- relies on as a sort of Star Chamber to tell the Good Guys from the Bad Guys. BLM is a cause and a (loose) organization. The KKK is the same. Violation of the law by individuals who adhere to either group must be addressed. But, if you or I find the ideals themselves reprehensible then we need not join. That is freedom of association.

We are in the midst of an incredible hysteria. Statutes and other public works are being ripped from where they have stood for a century and memorabilia vandalized. In Wisconsin, the operator of a cemetery ordered the removal of all Confederate symbols from resting places. So . . . now the PC sort is into desecrating graves.

An "art expert" brayed in today's NYT that Confederate-themed statues aren't art -- they are "propaganda." Well, ALL art is propaganda. Is one to believe that the great equestrian Renaissance statutes were neutral political statements? Are Nelson's Column or the column at the Place Vendome anything OTHER than propaganda? It 'twas ever thus -- the "intellectuals" are always the first abandon principles in the face of hysteria.

Some of us can recall the destruction of statues of Lenin and Saddam. We felt, perhaps, that this was a very good thing. If part of the local population finds a statue of General Lee offensive then the overall population has every right to sanction its removal. But, keep in mind that, regardless of the nobility of the cause, this is historical cleansing. Take them all down, if you wish -- but preserve them in some other way ("Confederate Park?"

During every bout of hysteria the more hysterical among us must become ever more so. One must always become more extreme in order to avoid criticism from those further to the Left or Right. The president of the USA can denounce ALL violence and that is not good enough for many of us. He must, instead, denounce the violence of which "we" disapprove and praise the violence we admire. (The NYT has adopted this approach -- there is "Your" violence and "Our" violence."
It has all become so silly -- this goofy parsing of which organization is/is not a "hate group." We tar everyone based on those with whom they associate or whose political opinions they may share without reference to whether these individuals have actually done anything untoward. We justify the violence with which we agree and are indignant about violence from those with whom we disagree.

President Trump already pledged 1 million dollars to Hurricane Harvey victims. Nice and benevolent of him and all those who also donated and are stil donating. Moreover, they should ensure that these funds filter through and are used for the exact purposes for which they are meant.

Youtube is littered and flooded with their videos and tapes of endless beating up and harassing folks - the young, the old men/women. What touches me most is that you would see like 5 or 6 Antifa members encircle and beat up an elderly person - a helpless person, and the Idiotic fools here won't blink an eye but look the other way.

Why is it so difficult for them to decipher and acknowledge that fact of ''both sides'' been at fault? I'm sure you saw the recent Antifa violent display at Berkeley, It vilifies everything President Trump stated. Antifa, White Supremacists, BLM, Neo-Nazis, KKK etc, are all hate groups, and any violent action committed by any should be condemned. They can all assemble in a peaceful accord - the constitution gives them the right to, even though their message and ideologies do not reflect the ideas of the majority.

Trump Fires Longtime Event Organizer Over Sparse Crowd at Phoenix Rally

If you watched the TV broadcast of President Trump’s rally in Phoenix, Arizona, it might have looked like the event went exactly as planned. The “Blacks for Trump” guy was front and center, and other enthusiastic Trump supporters booed journalists and applauded the president’s racist dog whistles, right on cue. As soon as Trump took the stage he marveled, “What a crowd,” and claimed (falsely) that there weren’t many protesters outside.

“A lot of people in here, a lot of people pouring right now,” Trump said. “They can get them in. Whatever you can do, fire marshals, we’ll appreciate it.”

A short time after the event, Trump noted the crowd size again, tweeting: “Thank you Arizona. Beautiful turnout of 15,000 in Phoenix tonight!”

But according to Bloomberg, Trump was actually very upset by the “beautiful turnout” — so much so that he’s fired George Gigicos. Or rather, he had top security aide Keith Schiller tell Gigicos that he’ll never manage a Trump rally again, because Trump doesn’t actually like to fire people.

Gigicos organized Trump’s rallies during the campaign, and he served as White House director of scheduling and advance until last month, when he quit to return to his consulting business. He organized the Phoenix event as a contractor to the Republican National Committee.

Trump’s notorious sensitivity about crowd size makes it hard to pin down how many people were actually at the event. City of Phoenix spokeswoman Julie Watters tried to back up Trump’s claim of 15,000, though she said there weren’t that many people in the venue. “There were more than 10,000 inside and there were approximately between 4,500 to 5,000 outside who were turned away because the event was wrapping up,” she said. Jon Hotchkiss of Be Less Stupid, who attended the event, estimated that the number of people who saw Trump speak was more like 4,000.

Shortly after President Trump's speech at Phoenix, I watched with utmost Hilarity and laughter as Don Lemon went nuts in full melt down - crying like a child and saying stuff like..."if Trump was in my team I would escort him out of the building.......History would bear witness bla bla bla....." OMG! That was so hilarious, almost fell from my chair.
