To both of us
V.O : Have you travelled out of the country before
Both: Yes, we went to Ghana last year Easter Period for our Family Vacation
V.O: She checked all the International Passport to confirm it.
V.O: Do you have relative in the US
Both: NO
She started typing for a while , raised her face and asked again, Do you have family in the US?
Chorus Answer : NO
V.O : Your visa has been approved, took out the white paper and circle the collection centre.
I hurriedly collected the white paper, carried my daughter while my wife carried our son who both seated on the basement through out the period of the interview which lasted for about 5 minutes.
The only travel experience we had was a road trip to Ghana last year as wife just started working and was not entitled to leave. Thus, we had to ensure we came back on Easter Monday so that she could go to work on Tuesday.
My Learning Point was that we were not under any pressure because we have made up our mind that if we did not get it we would travel to another country.
We give glory to the Almighty GOD for the Grace and we say congrats to all the brains behind this forum. which embassy , Abuja or Lagos ? |

My uncle got his b1/b2 visa last year . He traveled to the United States this year February and has been in the U.S. For over 5 months ( NB: he was given 6 months @ POE.) . He's planning to leave the U.S. before the 6 month expires this month . Now my question : do you think staying as long as 5 months plus ( almost 6 months ) would affect his next entry into the U.S. ? Thanks |
