Please its been over 1 month i was asked to send in my documents and passport via dhl, i havent gotten any email or response from them, is it normal?

I was already granted a visa but they misspelled my surname, then I reapply and they rejected me saying I didn’t attach the visa I was given. So was just looking at the fastest way to appeal

So a cousin of mine, Whom i am running visa application for South Africa, got her visa rejected over Yellow Card that was scanned , I do not know what their problem is, but they rejected the visa over Yellow card and its funny to appeal something like that. But yes, the visa was rejected (e-visa) and We are looking to apply again. How do I go about this? Does sending them an email with the attached yellow card work? Or how must I go about this?
Anyone with this type of Experience can shed a light on how to get this resolved?
