Its is with sadness and anger that I am writing this post. I am a student of a higher institution in this country I won't mention for various reasons. Yesterday I loaded an Airtel recharge card worth 500 naira, I also loaded an Etisalat recharge card worth 1000 naira. I finally decided to subscribe for Etisalat's campus data plan (500 mb for 250 naira, valid for 7 days), I had to because their 1k for 1 gig is exorbitant to me and I can't cope. So my plan was to load 500mb every week for the next one month which would add up to a cost of 1000 naira. 20 mins after subscribing, I checked my credit balance and saw 710 naira instead of 750 naira, the 40 naira vanished into thin air, I was pained cuz my plan of subscribing for 4 weeks was bleeped up already, so I just took solace in the fact that I could still sub for 3 weeks. Fast forward to this evening, I called someone with my airtel sim, so after call I needed to send a text message to the person, I sent the message several times, all to no avail, it kept on failing to send, so I decided to check my credit balance on airtel, alas, its was 0 naira, 500 fucking hundred naira worth of credit vanished into wherever it vanished to, I didn't make any call between when I recharged and when I called this evening, I now saw its the bonus that I didnt ask them for that I was using to call, bonus that lasts only one week, my credit will still be there after one week if I dont use it. This is not the first time airtel is fucking with me, 4 years ago or so, anytime I recharged they deducted 25 percent, I ditched them, I came back to them like 2 years ago, poor internet connection made me relegate them to my second sim, they are just so bleeped up, shame on them, thieves!. Okay I decided to check my etisalat balance (they are thieves too but they have a better track record at least), I saw 570 naira, from 710 naira, again I didn't make a single call, and its paining me that they will keep deducting till it gets to 0 naira, I would have been better off if I did the normal data plan. I normally don't post on Nairaland like that or comment, but this one entered me, in this economic climate as a student, same thing with the banks, they are just thieves!. I don't blame them I blame those running us. I just hope the appropriate people see this cuz its bleeped up and please I didn't subscribe for any bundle, if I did, they subscribed me forcefully, which is a crime, but we are in Nigeria who gives two bleeps. Apparently nairaland doesn't let us post the f-word, so anywhere you see bleep its the f-word, incase you are wondering.

Can I use a student ID

I tried to register on their site, then I realized you have to be 18 years or above( I am below 18 ), I also realized you need a national ID card as a means of identification, with all the stories I hear about how stressful it is to get one here, it makes things difficult. So I want to ask if there is any other means of Identification I can use to register on site. All these restrictions on people below 18 especially online annoys me, its like society is designed to limit you till you are that age, man gats start hustling early, we can see the effects of waiting till you graduate before you start or thinking you will land one job, Millenials are suffering man, Generation Z gats be wise. I will appreciate anybody who can put me through thanks...

I thought it was a scam at first, I just decided to give it a try and it actually works, guys are cashing out dont dull yourself. Its a website where you get paid for viewing ads, you also need to refer people to the site, the website is in Russian so you need to use a browser that can translate it( preferably google chrome).
