I told him there was another guy who wanted to pay upfront at 150k

He said he doesn't have up to that but can pay 120k, I said no problem if he can pay urgently cos I needed the money (reason I went so low in price)

The 150k guy called me that he had gotten to my Bustop and I went to pick him up that's where my phone went off

When your phone came up, you didn’t explain this but still kept mute.

Also you said the other person was going to come by 3pm

Omo ehn, I don go chook head for this gen matter o, currently at seller’s address and his phone has been switched off since. I still Dey hang around hoping say na him phone battery low. Cause fuel, time and my car wear alone from Oworo to Iba, Ojo no be joke.

Update:
Seller’s WhatsApp is now active and messages are delivering, but he his not responding or picking my calls. I have concluded that he is not a serious seller.

I understand your point, but let us be honest, communication goes both ways. I did not ignore him out of unseriousness. I just did not want to appear too pushy or desperate. Sometimes when you try too hard to convince a buyer, they start assuming you have an ulterior motive.

After he said the distance was far, I simply replied haa to acknowledge it and expected that if he was genuinely interested, he would ask if delivery was possible or suggest another option. Instead, he ended the conversation and blocked me, that alone shows he was not serious.

So I don’t think it is fair to place all the blame on me boss

I might have done the same to you. Is "haa" a meaningful sentence? He told you his address, and you replied "haa" in shock at 12.10pm. That's in the afternoon. From then till the next day you never said anything to him again, whether you can deliver or not, whether his place is too far for you or not. You left him hanging for almost 24hrs. And you expect him not to see you as a joker?

The haa was not meant as a shock or to end the conversation, it was simply a natural reaction to him saying he stays far away. People say haa in chats all the time to express mild surprise or acknowledgment.
Besides, he did not ask any follow-up question or show further interest after that. If he was serious, he could have asked whether delivery was possible or suggested a midway point. Blocking someone over has clearly shows he was not serious in the first place.
