That same yesterday, a nairalander who advertised his mtn mifi for 5k, I saw the post and contacted him to make payment.

Till today I have not even made arrangements or get to talk to him about picking up yet.

I have had several deals here with people lowkey and even sold on here.

I bought Honda city 900k from a nairalander from this same clearance thread.

My current phone, Samsung s20 FE, I got it from Owolabiza (a nairalander) for 100k

I have had business deals on TLC with the Likes of RakiticBarca etc. With payment with them for over 2 weeks or even 3 weeks sometimes before laptop will be available for pickup in Nigeria.

I have had a business dealing with Gazzuzz as well.

There is a fraudster in this forum, i have had an encounter with him and have heard people complain about him.
I am bringing this here for y'all to be careful, he stays around oworoshoki axis in Lagos.
He will make his interest known on a particular goods poster, he will ask for pictures then plan for a location to meet.
Once you meet him, he will tell you the good is not what he saw in the picture even if you send him 100 pictures of the same good.
His strategy is to condemn the goods and make you sell for a lower price different from the agreed price.
Y'all should be careful

Good evening everyone.

I want to make it clear to everyone that I was the one that made a plan to get the phone that this ip advertised on Nairaland.

We bargained for 15k. And to God who made me, I really had interest in getting the Phone.

We planned to meet up and seal the deal. We picked an open place to carry out the deal. He was even the one that choosed the spot at Oworo bus stop.

On getting there, I waited for about 15 minutes before he showed up with the phone.

It was in an open place, with so many people at the bus stop.

So when he gave me the phone, I was checking it out and saw that it was not what I had hoped to see.

He didn't want to allow me have my time to check, he was just rushing me to pay to pay and was already getting abusive. So I felt something was wrong somewhere. And I told him politely that it was not what I expected.

And Gave him back the phone. I guess he already had high hope on the 15k and was angry I didn't buy.

Man just started insulting me, I left without saying anything.

The next thing. He came to my whatsapp, insulted me and blocked me immediately.

Would have come here to create a disclaimer post about him immediately, but just felt there was no need since I wasn't scammed.

I was so surprised to see that he still has the mind to come up with this.

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: NIMC Is Trying To Make Me Loose International Job. Please Help by StarGraphicX: 10:18am On Jul 05, 2023

Emir8:
I don't know what to do again! I got an international job which will require me to work from Nigeria and I have submitted all other document but the company is not accepting my NIN Slip. They said it is one-faced Id and cannot be accepted.

I downloaded the NIMC App and tried to activate my account but no OTP is send to my mobile phone number.

I went to the NIMC state headquarter in the state I live and complained. They checked my email and phone number in their system and all are correct. They told me to keep on trying the App. I have been trying the App day and night and no OTP was send to activate my account.

I was asked to check if the plastic one is ready for collection. The web page (https://nimc.gov.ng/eid-card-issuance/) does not exist.

I tried to check the status of the plastic one if it is ready through their website - http://touch.nimc.gov.ng/ The page is no longer existing. Everything about NIMC is not working now.

I even make attempt to get driver's license, I was told it will take 60 days to be ready.

Please what will I do again. I don't want to loose this job. I have send messages to different emails in NIMC but no response. I have submitted the police clearance certificate containing my 10 fingerprints yesterday but they still insist I will not be assigned roles until national ID is provided and the documentation period deadline is Monday 10/07/2023

The company said they are not accepting the blank backside below

Seeing this late. They will never send the Otp code. The other option is to use ussd.

That was what I used then to get otp code.

Dial the ussd code below with the number that your NIN is linked to, it will display an otp code that you can use to set up the NIMC app
