You see that igbos have always been traders...just like Aba and onitsha, Igbos had the largest and most constant market for oil-Palm on the whole western shore of Africa. We know also that before the civil War, Eastern Region had the fastest growing economy in the World

when igbos say they are the Children of God, it is not to brag.they didn't start calling themselves children of God just yesterday.. Igbos were also skillful artisans, and manufactured swords, spears and metallic ornaments, specimens of which European travelers have pronounced to be neatly finished.. This reminds me of how the igbos, within a short time were able to develop their own weapons to fight during the civil war. till this day, igbos are still the most technologically inclined Nigerians...That is why they crave for Biafra where they can freely express themselves creatively and maximize their God given potential.

For detractors who always call igbos jewish wannabe...Judaism was igbo religion, practiced before the coming of Europeans, who brought Christianity to us Aro-Chukwu was the house of God which was a holy place similar to Jerusalem Not only Igbos worshiped at Aro-chukwu.. as written in the book, Brass and Nimbe(present day Nembe in Bayelsa state), also from Old Calabar in the far east.(these are ibibios, efiks, ogonis and some tribes in present south western cameroon). These are the Biafrans this goes to show you the kind of relationship the igbos had with their Neighbours. there was peaceful coexistence, no invasion, no enslavement, no religious imposition. There was freedom and mutual understanding....unfortunately our neighbours have bought the Igbo domination lie told by Nigeria against the igbos.

History keeps vindicating the igbos. Please pay attention when reading this James africanus beale Horton(1835-1883), who was born in Sierra Leone to parents of igbo descent. The book was first published in 1868.
