Seaborn21: No one is certain obviously. I just saw you are aware of the ExxonMobil’s trend that’s why I asked you. I don’t expect your answer to be 100 percent accurate. I know offers are coming out this week or next to resume September. Thanks Debbie.
You're welcome. I actually didn't mean to direct that question at you. No problem.
Yep, you caught me. I thought it would be last month, but then there was a call for another medical round, which most likely pushed it forward.
You don't have to take my updates sha, if you don't want to. I'll give whoever is concerned, which are very few at this point. Last last, your doubt will not take the offers from those who eventually get them.
Even the person saying they can cancel this round of recruitment, lol. Your negativity will not attract this to you.
NUGBVB1909: Lol! Nobody knows for sure, even the guys in Exxon can't say. The industry is going through uncertain times in Nigeria that affect entire budgets, so many differed production optimization operations and projects; and yes even down to recruitment.
Seaborn21: Really, because I have been following this trend and offers are supposed to come out like a week or two after medicals. Also this recruitment process has reached 8 good months (since December 18th).
This is not up to a week since the medicals. They were concluded last week.
ExpertNLer: yes but when they progress through the recruitment - they start splitting people into different roles. Maybe they didn't find good enough candidates for the wells discipline that they wanted the graduate engineers to go into
No, the splitting is done after medicals. They have done medicals and still not split the candidates.
UGraced: What is your background if I may ask? Because the info reaching me is that they weren't impressed with the candidates they had interviewed for Wells, I'm not sure if it applies to other disciplines. Perhaps that could explain the new rounds of invitations.
I think there is a confusion here. For Graduate Engineers, they did not interview for any particular role. I thought this guy said he applied for Graduate Engineer?
Wisemann101: Graduate engineer. I applied and wrote test the same time with everyone. Early last week, I got a mail encouraging me to apply for graduate intern but I ignored it. Two days later, invite for GE interview came in.
For those who did first level interview, were you interviewed by engineers?
Exactly wrong. A lot goes into hiring a new staff. Registration, health provider, pension plan, etc. Exxon will not go through all those processes, just to transfer the staff to Seplat. Seplat is doing their own recruitment now, and any staff not already transferred will probably be hired directly by them.
Any staff hired by Exxon this year will most likely work FOR EXXON.
UGraced: Yes, interview round 2, some other round 1.
Hmm, so if some people who did round 2 are showing no longer under consideration, does it mean those still in progress are advancing with maximum velocityraptor?
UGraced: Well, it's if you have update to share nah. But I heard some few got updates on their status this week and it now shows "no longer under consideration".
Those who did interviews? Or those who never got invited?
wrrw: I got a reliable information that invitation for the 2nd interview will commence about 2 weeks after the 1st stage interview. Has any EH been contacted for the 2nd stage interview?
