They've unveiled an electronic 'tattoo' that sticks to your skin. It has a circuit so gadgets can identify you.

LecturerIFE: Thanks for ur reply. The O.S is Window 7 starter. It's a new modem and it has never worked before though I tried Etisalat ZTE modem on it and it worked. Window update couldn't install the driver either.

Ivoryqueen: I use a hp probook 4515s.when I got it, it came with WLAN and bluetooth settings...and I used to see the blutooth/wlan notification icons. I've also used it severally... But recently I noticed it was no longer there.I couldn't find it in device manager or the control panel. When I went to hp wireless assistant, they were both disabled and though I've tried to switch it on with the wireless button in front, it still glows amber not blue. What do I do? Is this a hardware problem

1) do u normally hibernate ur sys? if yes try & shut down more regularly. So restart ur sys; dn goto ur device manager (control panel==>device manger==>network adapters), here U shud confront ur 9t-mere-- chk d device 4 wireless, right click and choose enable, u'L also c dat of bluetooth, so do dsame. now goto networks under control panel or desktop enable ur Wireless 4m here! it shud come up
but if not, u cud nw try pressn d swtch, stiL not commin up? dn we goto no.2
2) Not like but also a chance, 1 of d card may hav gone bad or hindered by dust & needs 2 be either serviced/replaced.
i'L advice u allow a capable engr do dat. also u cud let an engr open up ur sys & trace d swtch line, if itz a flex socket, might just need refix or if itz a button might simply needs little scapn or replacement

LecturerIFE: Evening, good people of Nairaland. I've a problem using an mtn fastlink modem I just bought on my HP mini 2102. The modem interface opens but the modem won't recognize any sim card, not even the primary sim card (this isn't an unlocking issue as I am not after that yet) I found out that there are some drivers missing from my system, and all my efforts to install these drivers proved abortive. I downloaded Driver.4.25.10.00 but I couldn't extract it to its appropriate folder... perhaps I didn't do some things right. I'll appreciate your sincere responses to get this problem resolved. It is a Huawei modem E303s-1. Btw, the modem works properly when I installed it on a friend's laptop.

SIMPLIFIED: Pls engineers in d house i need ur response..i inserted my memory card into a card reader nd to a pc, i wanted to format the card, i moved the folders to d pc nd formatted d mcard..i moved back after formating. It opens on d pc with everytin intact but when i insert in a phone, d folder has .exe nd it shows file format nt supported..also tried wit anoda m card without moving anything or formating, same problem, opens on pc but nt on phone, wats d cause?

I'L advice u 2 backup ur valuable files on d mem card to ur sys. then format d mem card again (ds xm usn full format- dat means u'L unchk quick format) & make sure d file-format on d format window is set to fat (not NTFS or FAT32). Do d format & put on ur fon (dnt copy back ur files yet!), let's c wot it'L giv U. It shud b resolvd i guess; but if not, now simply reformat 4m ur fon (now ds shud finally solve d misery). If not resolved lemme knw, U hv 2 more things 2 do!

dude, no need 2 worry, 4m ur story, means ur sys had bn infected 4 creatn multiple shrt cuts.
I'L advice u meet an engr. he'L diagnose ur hard disk, tell U if its stiL in gud condtn or not or probably manageable 4 some couple of wks or mnt! He'L also help U back up effectively (dependn on au valuable ur files are, advice U on addtnal backup methods). Wipe ur sys. clean (best when it has started givn U shrtcuts), & install ur preferred O.S. also if ur an heavy internet user install gud spy/mal-wares.
That should do!

yh itz possible you lock what ur wrkn on,
but 1st create a folder & put all in one folder.
there are a couple of apps that can do that, go on google an download filelock.
It'L lock ur that folder 4 U. Of-course usn d app is simple!

with this software you don't need any other software to manage your server. It is completely independent, !
