The best theme ever in MIUI in my opinion is THE TRAVELER. It's dark too.......infact i think its the best theme i have ever come across on mobile.

No problem with network here. Mtn still on 4g full bars.

The only thing I noticed is that sim 2 that I'm not using for browsing now stays constantly on 3g instead of edge. So I have sim 1 on 4g and sim 2 on 3g, I wonder why they changed it.

Heard they are some problems users experience with 8.1 like fingerprint and network..

From the phone , yeah OTA size about 1.3gb

If your phone is telling you no update available, just change your location to another country Eg India, you search for update again and download. Change back location to Nigeria before rebooting.

But you can download from miui site too

updated my RN3SE to 8.1.1.0

Haven't noticed any unusual battery drain. Still using up 10% battery per hour.

I think a lot depends on how you updated.

What I did.. .

Made sure my battery was fully charged.. I used ampere app to confirm full charge cos when miui says full, Battery is not actually full.

Then I leave the charger plugged all through the update process.

After update, I restart the phone several times, like 4 times before I start using it.

Then finally I unplug the charger to stop charging the phone.

I think this helps in battery calibration.

But I don't think it's an update issue. do a factory reset on 8.0.5.0 and if the problem persists, update to 8.1.1.0 and do a factory reset.

So i'm testing and exploring the Redmi Note 3 pro and i noticed it has an issue with my Airtel sim.......automatically and constantly says .com.android unfortunately stopped.......works fine with MTN.....any other person experiencing this? I also noticed the sim 2 tray is way too smaller, my sim is cut tho.

I did that. I did not try to buy Alipocket again. I simply input the new card details at checkout and it happened.

Just select "Add a new credit/debit card" and fill the fields with the required info, at Checkout page. Don't buy AliPocket Coupon with the other card. How do you guys use 2 cards. i am told to verify the second card that i want to use to complete the payment. They actually collected the money and later cancelled the order.

I've done that already. It's the same thing. They want me to upload documents of proof of identification when i want to fund my Alipocket.
