The Daddy YO croner added that sometimes when he has to charge for some shows, he charges less than a dollar.
Below he said and a fan accused him of sleeping with his friend that is HIV positive.

He was speaking to a rapt multi-national audience at his church service on Sunday 30th April 2017, Joshua disclosed that he had just returned from the ‘Holy Land’ after holding meetings with three prominent Israeli mayors of Jerusalem, Tiberias and the Jordan Valley.
According to the cleric, they offered both land and facilities in an area around the biblical site of the Sea of Galilee for the Nigerian Pastor to organise meetings for international pilgrims.

“<sub>THIS IS WHERE MY FATHER IN HEAVEN CAME FROM – IT’S NON-NEGOTIABLE,” JOSHUA EXPLAINED, ADDING IT WAS NOT A DECISION HE UNDERTOOK LIGHTLY.

“IT’S THE BEST PLACE FOR YOU TO MEET PROPHET T.B. JOSHUA. AFTER YOUR HEALING, BLESSING AND DELIVERANCE, YOU CAN MOVE AROUND ALL THE SPIRITUAL MONUMENTS WHICH WILL ESTABLISH YOUR FAITH,” HE FURTHER CLARIFIED.
JOSHUA SAID HIS DECISION TO LEAVE WAS NOT CONNECTED TO THE “PERSECUTION” HE ENDURED DURING HIS MINISTRY.</sub>

However, he hoped the move would help people to “appreciate” what his ministry had been contributing to both the local economy and Nigeria’s international image.
“This is the most persecuted ministry in the world. Who are the people persecuting the ministry? My people, Africa,” Joshua bluntly stated, adding that this ‘treatment’ had led him into a life of virtual isolation.
“That is why I choose to live a lonely life. If you want to see me, come to this church. I don’t go out. It has not been easy – because I don’t know who is a friend or who is an enemy. If you learn T.B. Joshua is not around, I am in a revival. I live in the church here. I don’t have a house outside.”
“Anytime you pray, remember Africa in prayer,” the cleric solemnly continued to an audience which included over 3,000 foreign nationals who flew into Nigeria to attend the church service.
“Many heroes and great people have been chased out of Africa. There are many geniuses in the Western world who are originally from Africa.”
The cleric pointed to the example of heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua who was allegedly turned down by Nigerian sporting authorities when he wanted to represent the country.
“What happened to me from the beginning of my ministry is enough to chase me out of this country – but I am still in your midst. Upon the persecution and hatred – I decided to follow the path of love. You show hatred; I show love. When I go for a revival, you will see the stadium full but I am not carried away by that. I leave where I’m celebrated to live where I’m persecuted.”
The cleric then advised congregants: “Where you are not celebrated is the best place to stay, to get strength. When you are in the midst of a battle, you are building yourself. That is why I decided to stay where I am not celebrated here in Nigeria. When the grace of God is amid challenges, it gets stronger.”
According to the cleric, the invitation to Israel came due to the growing popularity of Joshua’s television channel Emmanuel TV, which is especially known on YouTube.
“Your life can preach a better sermon than your mouth,” he exhorted the congregation, stating that the Israeli officials had observed his ministry from afar before inviting him.
No timeframe for the move was specified in the service and it was not clear whether activities in The SCOAN’s Ikotun-Egbe base would cease entirely.

JOSHUA CONCLUDED BY COUNSELLING PEOPLE: “DON’T DESTROY YOUR RELATIONSHIPS BEYOND REPAIR BECAUSE THE PERSON WHO FIGHTS YOU TODAY CAN BE YOUR SAVIOUR TOMORROW.”

The shock announcement will come as a blow to Nigeria’s religious tourism industry.

This profiles the highlights of the political career of Timipreye Sylva of the ruling party who is being tipped to with the gubernatorial polls in Bayelsa tomorrow.

Timipre Sylva is the Bayelsa state governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Having ruled the state before as a governor, Silva is at the verge again to contest the mantle of leadership with his keen opponent from the PDP, Seriake Dickson, who is also the incument governor of the state.

1. Sylva was born in Brass, Bayelsa (formerly Rivers State, of which Bayelsa State was split off from in 1996), and was educated there and in Lagos. He was a member of the Rivers State House of Assembly in the 1990s.

2. As a candidate of the People’s Democratic Party Sylva won the Bayelsan gubernatorial election on May 29, 2007 and succeeded Goodluck Jonathan who went on become to the Vice President of Nigeria. During his inauguration he said that Bayelsa was “the least developed industrially and commercially” of all 36 states.


3. Sylva’s opponent in the 2007 election, Ebitimi Amgbare of the Action Congress, legally challenged his victory. Although the Bayelsa State Election Petitions Tribunal upheld Sylva’s election, Amgbare took the matter to the Appeal Court in Port Harcourt which overturned the Tribunal’s decision and nullified Sylva’s election on April 15, 2008. The Appeal Court’s five justices were unanimous in their decision and ordered that Speaker Werinipre Seibarugo be sworn in to replace Sylva as acting Governor, with a new election to be held within three months

4. A new election was held on May 24, 2008, and Sylva, again running as the PDP candidate, was overwhelmingly elected with 588,204 out of about 598,000 votes.[5] He was sworn in again on May 27, saying on this occasion that he would form a broadly inclusive unity government.


5. On January 27, 2012, his tenure was teminated by the Supreme Court with an acting governor appointed to oversee the state until the election of February 2012.

6. In 2011, the PDP ruled him out from the contest to fly the party’s governorship ticket in the re-scheduled gubernatorial elections. His disqualification from the contest followed the orders of the National Working Committee of the party.

7. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission arrested Sylva in 2013, following his refusal to honour invitations to answer charges over allegations of fraud running into billions of Naira while he served as the governor of Bayelsa state. He was picked up at his Abuja home.

8. A Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday, November 26, 2015 for the third time dismissed a case against him.


9. With a very close similar case to the late Abubakar Audu in the last Kogi poll, Silva will be contesting for the seat of the Governor of Bayelsa for the third; the first as a Governor, with controveries of Tribunals and Supreme court in others.

As Bayelsans go to the polls tomorrow, here are some basic facts you need to know about the candidate for the PDP governorship election in the state. He is also re-contesting for the office of the Governor in the state as the incumbent governor against the All Progressive’s Congress gubernatorial candidate, Timipreye Sylva.

1. Henry Seriake Dickson (born 28 January 1966) in Toru-Orua Town of Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, Nigeria.

2. He assumed his role as the Governor of Bayelsa State in southern Nigeria on 14 February 2012.

3. He was a member of the House of Representatives from 2007 until 2012.

4. Dickson assumed his role as Governor of Bayelsa State on 14 February 2012. The Independent National Electoral Commission reported that Henry Dickson won over 90% of the votes.[5] They went on to say that this helped in “further strengthening the PDP’s stranglehold on power there since Jonathan became president.”


5. Hon. H.S. Dickson joined The Nigeria Police Force, now The Nigeria Police, 1986 in service to his father land and upon his graduation in 1993 was appointed a Cadet Assistant Superintended of Police in 1994 whereupon he proceeded to Nigerian Police Academy Kano for Officer Training. During the course of his training, he voluntarily withdrew his service after close to a decade as a Police Officer to practice the profession of law.

6. As a Lawyer, he worked with SERENA DAVID DOKUBO & CO holding the position of Associate Solicitor from 1994 to 1995 and moved to ALUKO & OYEBODE, a prominent Law firm in Lagos also as an Associate Solicitor in 1995 to 1996 after which he founded the Law firm of SERIAKE DICKSON & CO in Port Harcourt and later Yenagoa and became its Managing Solicitor from 1996 to 2006.


7. Hon. H.S. Dickson has held many positions some of these are mentioned below: He was elected Pioneer Publicity Secretary, Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) Yenagoa from 1996 to 1998. He was elected the State Chairman, Alliance for Democracy (AD) 1990 to 2000 and elected National Legal Adviser, Alliance for Democracy 2000 to 2002. He was equally elected National Legal Adviser of the foremost Pan-Ijaw Socio-Cultural and Political group called the Ijaw National Congress (INC) 2001 to 2003. He became a Member of the National Executive Committee (NEC) Nigeria Bar Association in 2004 to 2006 representing Bayelsa State.
 
Considering his track record and achievement, Hon. Dickson was Appointed the Honourable Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice of Bayelsa State from 2006 to 2007 by His Excellency, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan GCON, the ex-President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria who at the time the Governor of Bayelsa State

8. Hon. H. S. Dickson is a Member of the Nigeria Bar Association, International Bar Association, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (U.K) Nigerian Chapter and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.

9. Shortly after taking over gubernatorial duties, Dickson said that he was “painfully transiting to the executive arm of government.” He went on to say that he might, in fact, return to the National Assembly someday.

French fighter jets launched their biggest raids in Syria to date targeting the Islamic State’s stronghold in Raqqa just two days after the group claimed coordinated attacks in Paris that killed more than 130 people, the defense ministry said.

“The raid … including 10 fighter jets, was launched simultaneously from the United Arab Emirates and Jordan. Twenty bombs were dropped,” the statement said, adding that the mission had taken place this evening.

The operation, carried out in coordination with U.S. forces, struck a command center, recruitment center for jihadists, a munitions depot and a training camp for fighters, it said.

French President Francois Hollande vowed in the wake of the attacks in Paris to respond “merciless” to the terror group. “France will be merciless towards these barbarians from Daesh,” Hollande said on Saturday, using the Arab acronym for the group.

Born November 25, 1915, Mama Awolowo died a little over two months.

Mama Awolowo’s corpse arrived Waterside, Apapa, Lagos in apapa local Government today November 15th, 2015.

According to stellanaija crews, The two daughters of the family, Reverend Omotola Oyediran, Ambassador Tokunbo Awolowo-Dosunmu, a Federal government’s representatives and Permanent Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs are part of the burial committees.
