Pasta is a generic term for a food made from wheat pasta and cooked by boiling

Pasta is the same as spaghetti and Macaroni because they're made from wheat pasta

You can't just walk into the store and tell them to give you pasta, there is nothing called pasta, pasta is the ingredient they're all made with

Or you walk into a restaurant and tell them you want to eat pasta, they will immediately call the mental hospital because you are dumb

Spaghetti refers to the specific shape of the pasta, normally a thin straight shaped pasta

Macaroni is also pasta shaped like an elbow

They're all the same, just like bread, bagels are also considered as breads but they are round shaped
