JeffreyJamez: "Oga leave am,na woman"
This statement is annoying!...But if it's a guy that slapped a girl now,all of them will start beating and insulting the man.
Lemme see that girl that will slap me in public,I will beat you till you start to bleed from your ears .Then let me see that son of man that will tell me "you're not a man" for doing that..You go chop your own beating join.. Nonsense!! I hate that comment too ie "Oga leave am na woman". Some idiots make that annoying comment, whenever there is a fight between a man and a woman. Women take it for granted and at the end of the day, the man ends up being the bad guy. One lady pulled that crap with one Hausa man unto say na woman and slapped the guy. Trust Hausa guys, they don't take $hit from any woman. The resounding slap the lady received sent her reeling on the floor. I laughed my ass out that day. |

Mannylex: Ok, so I created this topic in this section because am sure I would get mature and useful advice here.
I am currently 24, employed in the banking industry and dating a 20 year old lady. I plan on settling down 2 years from now, but I know there are things that needs to be in place before this happens.
My question here is what are the priorities and major necessities that one must have in place to actualize this. I have mine but I need neutral opinions. This thought was triggered after a discussion I had with my girlfriend.
Cc: Lalasticlala , Chaircover , RoyalRoy Smh. They rush in and the next thing is to rush out. Having money in your account doesn't mean you're mature for marriage. Even those who married at the standard age are not smiling. Wait at least till you're 28. |

Culture › Re: How I Was Banned From Speaking Igbo - Adaobi Tricia Nwaubani by steppin: 9:08pm On Jan 14, 2017 |
Those parents who forbade their children from speaking their local language are silly. Most of them do it because they want their kids to speak English, without accent from their local language. But it's silly, cos Indians, Germans, the Chinese use their languages in teaching in their schools and they all speak English with accents. What's so special about speaking English without accents? Some Indian actors and actresses are millionaires and yet they speak with a heavy accent. Without your local language, it'd be hard for someone to run for an elective post in Nigeria. So, it doesn't make sense. |

PunkyV: Because it's easier to project a fake persona of awesomeness behind the keyboard. Plus people only post the good pics of themselves online. Out there in the real world there's no filter to hide all your physical & personality flaws, hence you get rejected much quicker. All your ugly is out in the open Most times it's not about looks, though it's part of it. Some guys are good with written words, but bad in speaking. Some are too shy. When the lady eventually meets the guy, she won't notice the little flaws cos she has fallen in love with the guy. It's not always about appearance. |
