I downloaded some series but whenever I use MxPlayer to subtitle them, it doesn't correspond with what they are saying what I mean is that the subtitles are many seconds late with what a character says @ a particular time
I tried 2-3 different subtitles, no good result

Go to subtitles in mxplayer, you'll see subtitles speed. Click on that and something to adjust the speed of the subtitles comes at the down right of your screen. Use them to adjust speed of the subtitles while watching the tv series.
Or you can download from tvsubs. Net and make sure you download all the different types of subtitles in it.
