I have been an ardent listener to BBC news on my world receiver radio since year 2000. I do that on average of 12 hours a day except when am walking on the street. I listen when am home, in my office even in my car. I hardly miss any of their programs like; Focus on Africa, world have your say, Outlook and many others.

But to my dismay, for the past one year now I have found it difficult to establish a clear signal. I have been moving from one frequency to another, though they do shift frequencies. I have only been able to get hooked perhaps in the morning and some few hours in the evening no longer 24 hours like before. I have changed my radio three times in the past year thinking it could be linked to the product but still the same result.

To those of us who share the same passion do you experience the same thing in your area? Do you think anything could be done? lately I have been burning a lot of data seeking an alternative to BBC news live on my phone can't afford it anymore.

By the way, from what authority do you claim to be writing this from? Are you a military historian, a serving, retired or discharged officer? If you are neither one of these categories, then nairaland is a wrong place to post this thread 'coz no one would save you from constantly being filleted. Even if you are a 'sound' political analyst you can't have a valid or argumentative justification on this issue. Handing over government to opposition is the worst nightmare of African leaders going by what i term as vendetta being unleashed on serving government and its supporters now and after transition. Sometimes you may not blame these leaders because opposition parties in Africa are yet to grow into maturity. God help Nigeria, God help Africa!

This is a blatant lie peddled by enemies of the country. The US would be the last country that would ever use chemical weapon in the name of freeing hostages. Russia was the country that put that into use about a decade ago to free some hostages taken by Chechnya rebels. This action attracted a barrage of criticism from the West most especially US. I don't know what they would get from all these lies. shame on them.
