Thanks a lot. I already done all this yet the phone couldn't display my device. It would only only display indicator light on the device connected to the sub without any action. Nothing is working!

GO TO DEVELOPER OPTION AND SEARCH FOR USB FUNCTION THEN CHOOSE MTP.....IF UA CONNECTING WITH TWO PHONE AND NOT MODEM THEN ALSO SELECT MTP OR INBUILT STORAGE OR CUSTOM ROM IN THE PHONE UA CONNECTING TO UR L9+

please where is developer option on the phone?

Please help I have been trying to use the OTG cable on my tecno l9 plus but not working despite the fact that the phone came with the cable. The phone can't see any device after trying es explorer/stickmount as recommended by some people.

OP I got the update message on my L9 plus too please let me know what changed after the update

Not much! It left more space on the RAM. Then some minor changes like you swipe down or up in case of power off or On. Click on the message you find out more.

Just start downloading d update. the update Is heavy ,keep downloading each time u are on d net .ur files will be intact but after downloading make sure u back up ur apps and have good battery stand before installation. I have been downloading mine now for some days now still o n it. I use hot 4.

one more thing pls. But my phone is a new version android 7 nougat. Why update? Just asking, no vex o.

I guess guys don't understand my post 'coz am yet to get response. The system update just came to my phone as a message notification. Telling me the update is available, that I should just tap and install.

Nairalanders in the house, I just got a system update on my tecno L9 plus asking me to install a new update. My concern is that if i did, perhaps I might lose certain files on my phone. Also, that I should ensure my battery is not less than 30%. Pls do you think it's just cool? I need your advice asap. Thanks.
