I think someone dropped the offline version of the curriculum here. just check previous pages.

The test is just a bunch of multi choice questions with a few code challenge.

people should understand the bible progression...the old testament is not different from the new testament.

The OT simply teaches us about God promises and covenant.....The NT teaches us how to access and obtain these promises and how to establish this covenant through Jesus Christ.

pls I want to know what really happens after the two weeks bootcamp.

because from the challenge it looks like it's five weeks (so does that mean even if you go through the two weeks there's a chance you might not get in ? )

I've taken mine and submitted, but the deadline for submission is March 9th.
No problem if you haven't taken yours, but it should not exceed march 9th.

The Irony of this:

- They've never gone out of their way to help the poor.

I don't think king solomon worked for his wealth, the bible recorded that God blessed him. So if God has decided to bless bishop oyedepo from the church, how does that concerns me.

Funny enough people still pay their tithes and give gift to this pastors.

I've never seen or heard where Bishop Oyedepo bragged about his wealth.

remember God's covenant with Abraham---I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you......
People are being blessed from blessing him, you just can't freeze it.

it is good you submit on time also, because someone who submitted in less than 4hrs with a good algorithm have a good edge.

I started mine for cycle 29 on the 21st of october 2017, submitted on the 27th of October 2017 and I started a week after receiving the email because I had to go for a conference ......I got to bootcamp.

even if you submit in 30mins then your algorithms need to be more efficient than someone who submitted in 1wk.

you can still submit after 4hrs....guys take your time to do the home study assessment.

yes it does.
hey, don't worry about the report for now.

after going through my report for the last saberr test I realized that my interview questions were based on the saberr report.

I was asked questions on how I will respond to certain scenarios (focusing on your strength and weaknesses from the saberr test). the answers I gave were consistent with the report from my saberr test.

so study the report very well, know your strength and weaknesses. they won't ask you these questions directly ("what are your strength and weaknesses"....that's lame) they already know them.....they also want to know how you're handling those weakness of yours.

Believe me, these questions won't come directly and you won't even realize you are answering them.

I might be wrong, this is just based on my experience.....(I'm a reserved guy, but saberr test almost made it look worst, but I concentrated on my strength and how I could overcome my weaknesses........15% for expressiveness..."Jesus, am I dumb" wink

I could not take another saberr test because I used the same email(from my last registration) so Andela will use the report from my last saberr test.............you can see that andela is not joking.

just concentrate on the home study assessment.

you didn't mention Git.
I purposely didn't want to talk about this so it doesn't scare people (beginners).

unlike before, after the interview you have one month to prepare for the bootcamp. 23 April.

Bootcamp is not easy, Interview is not easy, Homestudy Test is not easy. but if you take it one at a time it will be a wonderful experience for you.

I was at bootcamp cycle 29 November/December 2017.
it was an experience indeed, I travelled all the way from plateau. it didn't really look like it was for beginners(just a mindset) but at the end I believe everybody, no matter your level has a chance.

just be EPIC.

Hello informed ones, from what i've seen while reading the thread, it seems python is the language used for the home study test. Is that right? or can we choose to take the test in JS instead?

some of the multiple choice questions will have python code as well as JavaScript.

but for the code challenges you can use either.

my advice is that you learn JavaScript and use it because everyother challenges you'll be taking after the homestudy test will be strictly JavaScript.

just have a basic knowledge of python for the sake of the homestudy test...atleast know how to run python codes.

I'm trusting God that we all here will meet at the bootcamp and eventually get into Andela.

it is all about collaboration.

JS is not really difficult, you can make the switch.....but the way JS works is quite different from other languages.

but since you've done some programming before, you are good to go.
bro, make the switch fast. I thought I knew JavaScript not until I went to the bootcamp.
