GTC stalled for some few months before the matter was settled, Pinnacle has been undergoing serious construction progress(talking of ground breaking and foundation lay out) before a land dispute arised but the matter was settled. Don't deceive yourself Sammy. I guess it's out of jealous that you're finding it so difficult to swallow the truth. Are you not the same guy few pages back that was claiming GTC has stalled and that no cladding going on ? The same guy is claiming pinnacle is dead even after being provided with facts are you so dump this way!

Right now the land dispute is not the hindrance to this project.... the sits on three parcels of land and only one was disputed

Seeing how the land has been irreversibly tampered with.....with such a deep excavated hole, there won't be any other options other than settling the dispute and let the project proceed

Look dude go tell this to some illiterate on the streets of Nairobi...they are so many factors affecting your pinnacle and with the way things are going pinnacle might not start until lets say next 6-10 years...a perfect example will be what happened to your GTC and rivers mall....you saw how long it took for construction to start..
Land dispute, drop in the demand if high end apartment, dwindling real estate sector..this are some of the reasons why that building will not see the light of the day...
You guys have been decieving the rest of the world alongside the Chinese that your middle class is growing....now the low demand of this commodities has exposed you....

GTC was about(public land) encroaching on the road reserve, it was for only 30days.....I don't know what you mean by "River mall" stalled, what's that all about

The only thing going on on that site is just road construction, the nairobi river , waterfall construction and the abadoned excavation

The road construction is being done specifically because of this project.... enabling process

It’s not going to be just another project. Pinnacle Towers building is set to take a place of pride and further change Nairobi’s skyline.

Once complete, the multi-billion-shilling building will rise over 300 metres above the ground, becoming Africa’s tallest skyscraper, with 70 storeys.

The tower’s foundation stone was laid by President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2017, and was initially scheduled for completion in 2021 at a cost of Sh20 billion.

The deadline has now been rescheduled after developers introduced modifications to the initial design. The project comprises two towers, with the shorter one rising 46 floors up and planned to house a 257-room Hilton hotel.

The taller tower will consist of mixed-used development comprising commercial space including offices and a five-storey mall, as well as luxury residential apartments.

“The developers are in the process of completing the redesign of the project to increase its efficiency in terms of space usage. In addition, the financial closure is ongoing and once finalised, works on site will gather momentum,” Mahat Noor, the managing director of White Lotus Project, the developers, said.

He added that, “The redesign is also expected to enhance profitability of the project which was critical for financial closure in the context of redesign and other aspects. The project is now slated to be completed in 2023 (following the additional changes).”

The director said there is continuous technical monitoring of the project, especially with relation to neighbouring tenants.

The Pinnacle, as the building is known in short, will be standing nearly 100 metres taller than The Leonardo, in Johannesburg, South Africa, which is currently Africa’s tallest building standing at 234 metres.

We have mixed, our tallest in height(32flrs) is our 4th in floor count....it will be 6th after GTC been completed, but still will be the tallest in Kenya and 3rd in Africa
