The Presidential Candidate of the LAUTECH Students’ Union Government (LSUG), Ayanwale Muhammad (HARYO), alongside members of The STEWARDS Team, today participated in the highly impactful LAUTECH Leadership Summit 2026, themed “Success Experience,” held at the University Auditorium, LAUTECH, Ogbomoso.

The summit brought together distinguished leaders, accomplished professionals, student advocates, and thought leaders from diverse sectors who shared invaluable insights on leadership, excellence, personal development, innovation, and purposeful service. The event provided a unique platform for learning, networking, and engaging with individuals whose journeys continue to inspire the next generation of leaders.

As a team driven by the vision to SERVE Ladokites with sincerity, excellence, responsibility, vision, and empathy, our attendance at the summit was intentional and strategic. Leadership is not merely about occupying positions; it is about continuous learning, capacity building, and preparing oneself to effectively meet the demands of service.

The lessons drawn from the experiences and perspectives shared by the speakers further strengthen our conviction that transformational leadership is built on competence, character, accountability, and a genuine commitment to the people. These principles remain central to the values that guide our collective aspiration to serve the student community.

• BECKY 4 Vice President I
• WISE 4 Vice President II
• SPENCER 4 General Secretary
• IDOWU 4 Assistant General Secretary
• DARE 4 Public Relations Officer
• SAMZKID 4 Financial Secretary
• KHADIJAT 4 Social Director

The presence of the entire team at the summit reflects our shared commitment to leadership development, institutional excellence, and a collective resolve to provide purposeful representation for every Ladokite. We recognize that effective leadership begins with preparation, learning, and a willingness to engage with ideas that can positively transform the student experience.

Speaking after the summit, Ayanwale Muhammad (HARYO) emphasized that the future of the Students’ Union must be anchored on visionary leadership, innovative thinking, accountability, and a people-centered approach that prioritizes the welfare, development, and collective aspirations of students.

The STEWARDS Team remains steadfast in its commitment to engaging with platforms that broaden our understanding, sharpen our leadership capacity, and equip us with the knowledge required to deliver purposeful representation when entrusted with the mandate to serve.

We commend the organizers of the LAUTECH Leadership Summit for creating a platform that continues to inspire leadership excellence and nurture future changemakers within and beyond the university community.

As consultations and engagements continue across campus, we reaffirm our dedication to building a Students’ Union that listens, represents, innovates, and truly serves.

“Leadership is not about promises alone; it is about preparation. Today, we learned. Tomorrow, we serve.”

Together, we will SERVE.

Together, we will lead.

Together, we will raise the standard.
