I was issued 2 years B1-B2 Visa in Abuja around March 2014, i left Nigeria to attend a conference Austin TX, i paid $370 and i was send an Invitation letter via PDF which i downloaded, but before i left MM Airport in Nigeria i was given a boarding pass from Nigeria to Qatar but unfortunately i wasn't give from Qatar to TX. I had 9 hours stopped over, about to board in i was on the Queue to get a boarding pass an America Airline representative stopped and asked for my boarding pass but i can't provide one. He then ask for my invitation letter, ID card, Ticket and he collected my passport, he was typing on his phone and took pictures of all my document, he then said i can no longer travel with this Visa that i will be sent back to Nigeria, i asked him what have i done, he said the visa is no longer valid but the visa will expire in March 21 2016. I was confused, on getting to Nigeria i went to Abuja Embassy the following Monday to explain myself, an officer who attended to me stamped cancelled on my Visa that i can no longer use it and she said I could reapply if i want. Could you please advise if i can apply through DHL DROP BOX or i should go to the Embassy in person once again. Thanks
