tensazangetsu20: Every job I have ever gotten in my life has been from LinkedIn. Thanks. I need to restart my LinkedIn be that. I gave up on it coz I've not found anything from niger firms on there. But e be like it'll be very useful for/in other places. Someone else also mentioned the exact same thing and when I looked at their profile, it was so basic, like almost empty, it was hard to believe. They got a sec job from a US startup from Nigeria during covid although not a startup anymore. |

tensazangetsu20: Yes by one million times. Let’s even remove my remote job. I have worked here in chile with a local Chilean company and what I was earning after tax I can’t earn that in Europe. My first job here in Chile was for a Spanish company and I rejected it to stay here in Chile. In my own opinion, the only countries better than Chile are Switzerland and the USA. What I achieved here in Chile it will takes me 10 years or more in any European country to achieve what I have achieved in Chile in two years with the same knowledge and skills. What site are you using to find remote jobs? |

My life here is exactly how I dreamt it to be. plz what is the name of the school you used for Spanish? and did the school actually help or was it sth you could have done yourself? |

oluyemi123: Those guys are only interested in your 20k consultation fees, they will say anything to entice you and since 20k is so cheap people will think is not a big deal. If you follow their trend ,there was a time all of them were saying there is a free nursing course for people outside Brazil but they refused to drop the link and were saying people should Dm.
Even some people living in Brazil made comments on their posts saying nothing like nursing course for people outside Brazil but they claim those one doesn't have legit info.
In one of her live on Tiktok with other people living in Brazil, she was complaining about how job is so scarce in Brazil, you know on live video one true emotions can run and make the person says things that can't be edited again but when shooting content they will continue to say work plenty for Brazil so that people can ask them to help with Visa. Thank you very much🤝, that clears things up for me. One needs to be very carefull oo, na was o. @trollx thanks |

oluyemi123: For your case , you will likely be working for a foreign company as you a tech guru ,you will be among the few and mind you Portuguese is harder to learn than Spanish and Spanish is more useful than Portuguese but you will need the Portuguese language to do almost anything in Brazil. According to Western folks online, they say a company sponsoring you to Brazil is expensive and thus rare. But then I see some of our own folks online with a job and usually more of skilled handwork labour e.g Blinky said she got a painting job with a work visa and she mentioned getting PR after two years on temporary residence as well( I've also not seen this anywhere online ). So I don't know what to believe. Or are those skilled labour type jobs easier to get a work visa. Any idea. thanks. |

adigun27: Please I will like to go to boliva plss help me you'll probably have to visit gambia. The person I responded to didn't give any response in email, so best to go over to gambia, as adviced by him, or go apply for the tourist visa in Egypt or just find another country to go to. Although, there are a few West African countries with visa free to Bolivia, and sometimes Ecuador. You can also go get citizenship in those W.African countries as well including by living there for some years. One thing to note is Bolivia majorly does Visa on Arrival for alot of countries if not all, so I think having travel history might be important if you'll be going there with Visa on Arrival. Brazil has a Digital Nomad visa though. |

sliksusan: Bolivia didn't do e-Visa if your passport visa on arrival in Bolivia still needs an invitation letter for someone in Bolivia to secure your visa on arrival. When you arrive at Santa Cruz airport you give the immigration officer your passport and letter of invitation, an officer will check it and put a sticker visa on your passport upon arrival and you will pay $160 when you pay the money. You will receive an entry stamp that is valid for 1 month. The sticker visa on arrival is valid for one month How does one go about getting residence there? I've sent you mail request. I'm interested in the Gambian pp. Thank you. |

SamuelLoch: I saw that your application has been authorised by your school, and the JAMB State office has uploaded it for approval at Abuja on November 8. You're in course. No cause for alarm at all.
I don't know about now, but HQ approval takes about 3 weeks.
Worry not. You've gotten past the stages where applications are bounced back. I'm at this stage now. Thanks alot for your help🙏🏽🙏🏽 God bless. |
NYSC › Re: Post All Problems Relating To JAMB Regularization Here - Let's Treat Them by sthGood: 12:54am On Feb 01, 2025 |
SamuelLoch: If your current school offered you an admission through JAMB, your JAMB profile would have the record of your school. Although, the course of study can be different.
Having your name on both links for NYSC is a good thing! Are you sure you confirmed it on the JAMB matriculation list? If yes, so, why didn't you register for NYSC?
Ordinarily, you should do JAMB regularization, but I'm surprised that your school went NYSC uploaded your info as submitted by your school. Yes I'm on the jamb matriculation list. The reason I didn't previously register is because the previous school(the one I didn't choose and with a different course than what I'm graduating with) is on the matriculation list. But I think you might be right, my assumption was that the details on the matric list would be the same on my admission letter and I could be wrong. I've only ever printed the admission letter in 2014. I'll try to print the admission letter to confirm. I just tried printing it on mobile but it got stuck. Tried again with laptop and it's now asking for biometrics. Anyways, thank you very much for your help. The regularization form is still in school. They've not uploaded it to State jamb yet. I've met with them this year, they said they're still on it. I submitted it in November. |

Another big advice I will give to Nigerian youths as you are learning anything you are learning if you can and you have the time to do so, please learn a second European language. I would recommend Spanish first and then maybe German and maybe French last. Spanish because even though Spain is doing badly, a lot of Spanish speaking countries are actually very good to live in. Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Mexico. If you migrate to these countries as a Nigerian with tech skills you will definitely make it except your village people are on your matter. German is also okay but getting a German visa from Nigeria is very hard. French is the last language I will recommend for anyone to learn since majority of French speaking countries are poor African countries but if you can learn French, it makes it much easier to get Canadian permanent residency at least at this moment. Might not be so in the future. Aside European languages, maybe an Asian language like Chinese, Japanese or Korean. Having two languages and tech skills completely eliminates most of your competition for jobs anywhere in the world especially if your first language is English What about Portuguese language? and is it possible to get a job in/from Brazil? from what I'm seeing on online forums, the advice is not to come. |

SamuelLoch: Hello, So, yours is quite different. Is the admission letter for your current course of study a result of the JAMB you wrote in 2024? Did your current school offer you an admission through JAMB or outside of JAMB?
Check this link out https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/CheckMatriculationList
Ordinarily, your details here has to be accurate with your current course of study and institution. You should see "congratulations,..."
Check this link out too... If your details here are accurate, you MAY get lucky with NYSC to proceed with registration. https://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc1/VerifySenateLists.aspx
Your name will be here if your school has processed your name on the graduation list https://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc1/CheckInstitutionCoursesPCMs.aspx The admission letter is from 2014. I graduated last year. I only wrote jamb in 2014. I also got admission to the other school b4 getting admission to my current school in 2014. I don't know how to confirm if my current school offered me admission through jamb but I think so. The course on the admission letter is different from what I'm studying in my current school. My name is in both of the links. The Senate list has the correct course I studied in my current school. Name is also correct. |
NYSC › Re: Post All Problems Relating To JAMB Regularization Here - Let's Treat Them by sthGood: 7:34pm On Jan 09, 2025 |
Hi Sam. Please I wrote jamb in 2014. My Admission Letter and Matriculation List has a different school and with a different course from what I studied. I'm on my school's graduation list with the correct course. I'm also on the Senate list (although I don't know how to check the course).
I've also started Jamb Regularization although it's still at the school level but I've contacted admission office and it's still processing.
I read similar case from someone on this thread on page 94, with username @jP94 that even registered for NYSC and was given go ahead by you. Unlike mine, theirs was from the same school but different course.
I just wanted to ask if I'm in a similar position or I should wait for the regularization process to complete.
Thank you. |
