I think the money in you have in your closing balance is low, if you say you want to send 2.1m naira, I think you should have the same in your bank account if not more IMO. You could have stated how much of the deposable fund you have saved as well. I am still awaiting my decision too however.
Summary - you stated you want to spend about 2m but your closing balance is 100k.

I submitted 2 statement, 1 is my savings which has over 5m and which I'll be using to fund the trip while the other is just mere salary acct with the closing balance of 100k..
The eco guys didn't consider the savings but they just look at my salary acct which is less relevant, I also told them I'll be using the money in my savings to fund the trip not salary acct o

The interview is actually the Biometrics! Just ask the child his name and date of birth.
Also, they ask the sponsor who he will be traveling with and that's the interview! Could that be the cause?

On this myself I'm even clueless as to why they denied him at the first place. I was also asked my name and DOB at vi center though still awaiting decision.. Or can this be an indicator of rejecting by just asking name and DOB at the biometric center?? God oooo

What solid supporting documents can i use for UK visa application, i have a different family name from my brother who invited me over.

Your birth certificate spelling out your maiden name..
Your marriage certificate also should be cool cos it also carries your maiden name which I belive your brother bears..
Lastly, any childhood Pic with your brother there or even possibly your screenshot of WhatsApp chat history with him in last few years...

I got the dispatch email first, then pick up afterwards from TLS. No decision email from anywhere. Help a fainting soul…

Just take along colored copy of your passport data page, checklist and tls appointment letter.. You're good to go with those three things..

Also yes no need of passport photograph.

I applied for standard visitor's visa for my mother in law 10th of June 2024.

TLS sent collection email 20th of June 2024 and that DHL will deliver it.

I have been waiting for decision email since 20th of June.

Please can someone confirm if UKVI sends successful decision email for visitors visa? How long before they send it?

Or can I only confirm this when she gets the passport?

Or do they only send rejection email and not successful email?

Also, pls is it advisable for me to download e-statement of account from my bank's app or I should just go to the bank and request for a stamped one..
Saying this cos the distance of my bank to my place is a bit far...

If you are the Uber type, you can just put the address on Uber and it’ll easily take you there from Ojota.

If Uber na long thing and you do not mind Lagos danfo buses, enter bus going to CMS from Ojota.

Drop at CMS and enter bus going to VI and stopping at Eko Hotel roundabout.
This is quite insightful I must say to be honest, I really appreciate boss..


TLS is a walkable distance from the last stop at Eko Hotel roundabout.

There are roads in different direction at this place, and may be confusing for someone not familiar with the area, so you need to identify the one called Ajose Adeogun, which hosts Zenith bank Head office.

TLS is just few buildings away from Zenith bank head office and on same side of the road.

The TLS office itself is just 2 buildings from the roundabout. It’s just about 1 or 2mins walk from the roundabout on the right side of the road when you walk downwards the Ajose Adeogun.

You are not going to get to Zenith Head office before getting to TLS office. I just used the Zenith Head office as a landmark.

Ensure to budget like 1.5/2hrs commute time. It may not be up to that, but I’m sure you want to avoid any surprises.

As such I'd like to know, the description from ojota to tls office, VI Lagos..

Not only will you have to pay the 76GBP, you might not be to select a self service date without paying for primetime or one of the additional services from TLS. I hope it has now been resolved if not you wont be able to proceed to checkout without adding one of he premium services.
