Deep down there is a voice saying all these are wrong; interceding through Mary, praying the rosary, intercession of saints etc. These are all traditions not Christianity. Forget about the pride thing because someone is correcting you kindly discover it yourself.
The word is never assumed and it is clear so please stop making out things that are not. I am a Catholic with modifications rather I would say I'm a believer of God.
