villagereporter: We can't unite. Tribal hatred is too much in Nigeria. We would have united when Peter Obi came out with sound visions, yet most of Nigerians voted a man that couldn't talk coherently because Obi is from the most hated tribe. Uniting to fight a bad political leader after we have given him the chance via our tribal sentiments cannot work in Nigeria. If we must unite to get it right, it must be from the onset 2 Likes |

Misterone: See idiot airing his stupidity. How many states in Peter Obi's region participated in the protest? All the southwest Tinubu's region and the Northern States including FCT actively protested. Who are the bad loosers? Please desist from drunkenness and drugs, they are not good for your brain. |

Kukutente23: I wonder what they stand to gain. Tinubu is a colossal failure - they know that. Their interest is to look for an innocent candidate that will also go down with their clueless druggie. Obi is a light, and they can't eclipse him with their darkness. |

Has Lagos that took first under Tinubu made Tinubu a good president? You should bury your head in shame measuring the capability of a candidate by the sports record of his state. 17 Likes |

Politics / Re: ‘igbo Must Go’: To Where, Please? - Taiwo Adisa by Stone03: 7:37am On Aug 12 |
I think this tribal disparity of Yorubas to the Igbos took an alarming turn since the time Tinubu hijacked Lagos. This post really opened my eyes to the realities of the relationship between the Igbos and Yorubas in Lagos pre Tinubu era, matching it with the stories my father who spent almost all his youthful life in Lagos told me about Yorubas. My Dad will always tell the stories with a nostalgic feelings of the good life he had among Yorubas, and he still demonstrate it by his habit of communicating in Yoruba language with anyone that he knows that flows well in Yoruba, be him an Igbo man or Yorubas living in the southeast. Anywhere in the southeast he sees a Yoruba person, my Dad had seen a family. He must spend time to communicate with them in the same language that makes him remember his old good days among the Yorubas in Lagos. What suddenly changed? When did it change? What caused the ugly change? These should be the questions. Politics of grab it and run with it. Politics of eternal domineering which Tinubu established in Lagos brewed a set of poisonous vipers which in a bid to perpetuate the dominion of their master began to point out the Igbos as a threat to their enslaving agenda. Truly, Igbos eschew such enslavement and will always fight against it. That's why all these ugly nicknames that depict rebellion and a person ungrateful to his host given to the Igbos by the misinformed Yorubas. We were cohabiting peacefully until Tinubu came in. 1 Like |
