Yoruba that can't stand the girls from Dahomey...

Na only mouth una get...

"If i'm sleeping and wake up to hear Yorubas beating the drum of war, i'll go back to sleep" (IBB 1993)
Lol, since I heard of OSO ABIOLA the name igbos gives the anger of yorubas in 1993. I don't take yamiri serious in any thing grin

Onumara Onyekachi Divyne:
OSO ABIOLA, TWENTY YEARS ON...
I was sitting down on the red rugged floor of my uncle's sitting room on an eerily quiet late August evening. It was in our family house in a rural farming community in Oguta. I was barely nine, but I could remember it clearly like it was last week. I was trying to replicate some funny cartoon characters, Silent Giggles, from old editions of The Sunday Champion Newspaper. I loved drawing, especially cartoons, even till this day.
My uncle was a columnist for The Champion; he wrote The Sunday Sermon. He was a clergyman, and also a banker with the UBA. He was my role model; I wanted nothing else than to be a banker like him. He was a brilliant youngman with a young family. He was perfect --from a nine year old's view. Today, I despise the banking industry, I can't believe it was my childhood dream to work therein
My uncle dashed into the room like he was been chased by our local masquerades. He made for the turntable stereo, turned it on and tuned to IBC, which has already linked up with the FRCN Lagos. "Mechie nu onu, umaka!" my uncle commanded us to be quiet. It was a national broadcast, the Head of State and GCFR was about to address an unstable and unsettled nation. He started his address immediately after the national anthem. My little brother and I froze, and joined my uncle to listen on one of my dad's most important piece of property, a Hitachi stereo.
"Pello (fellow) Nigerians", that was General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida (IBB) opening liner, like most other military Heads of state before, and after him. It is usually followed by, "The pedra (Federal) gwanment (government)" and bla-bla-bla-bla... Nigerians were usually uncertain back in those days, whether it was another coup d'etat or the likes. But they were more uncertain this time, giving the prevailing political turmoil and brouhaha that greeted the country, after Prof Humphrey Nwosu, the then electoral chairman (NEC), was slapped out of FRCN headquarters at Awolowo road, in Victoria Island, Lagos, by a soldier as he was announcing the result of the June 12 elections. August 27th also marked exactly eight years in office of the IBB led government. He overthrew General Buhari who since then has had a failed hat trick at becoming president since 2003. This address was a handover, or do I say a "Step aside" speech, not for the alleged winner of the polls, Chief MKO, but to an Interim national government of Chief Earnest Shonekon.
Nigerians knew that once again, IBB, the Maradona, has dribbled our intelligence again. This piece is not really aimed at telling or retelling the June 12 story, from the Afenifere, NADECO, or democratic activist view, but rather from the humanitarian angle which has often been ignored. Oso Abiola, was the exodus of (South) Easterners, especially Igbos from different parts of the country, to their states of origin. Some people say it was a paranoiac move. May be such notion was correct today, but for the people who experienced, heard or read stories of the events (pogrom) in the North, and even the South West from 1966-70, it was the most sensitive thing to do seeing the political tension in the land, and the warmongering South western media.
The journey back home was treacherous; sufferings, pains, anguish, and even deaths.
I am not a tribalist, a sectionist, or secessionist, but I wouldn't hide under the cloaks or pretexts or a nationalist and forget that I am Igbo. The late sage Pa Awo was once quoted as saying that he is first, Yoruba, and then Nigerian. We have not learnt anything, Nigeria, and especially Ndi Igbo, as we match toward 2015.
That's the true essence of this piece. I spent a horrendous 15hours with my elder sister, and over 10 others inside a lorry filled with luggage of all kinds.

Retired Yahoo Boy Exposes Popular Ritual Methods Used By Yahoo Boys, Speaks On Eating Poo, Running Mad, Using Girls
An unidentified internet fraudster a.k.a Yahoo boy, has reportedly confessed to making N1.8 billion before retiring from cyber fraud business.

According to the report which is making the rounds online, the former fraudster also exposed methods in which various scams and money rituals are carried out in Nigeria.

Read the post below:-

“Ok as a former yahoo boy, I can say that some of this things are true and some are lies.
You see that faeces thing is a lie! The faeces will be burnt so you can’t smell it anymore but it’s very potent because the person who has the the poo will die and this isn’t even for yahoo, it is blood money direct.
Although if yahoo boy does it, it is automatic explosion for the person.
“Another one is that hating in public space. The babalawo is just trying to scam the yahoo boy thinking he won’t be able to do it. However, wiping of kitten (lady part) after intercourse is true.
There is also one that you sleep and cvm inside the girl after bathing a soap and she won’t get pregnant again and if she does, she must miscarry.
That one too is very potent and many slay queens have been used for this but they don’t know yet!
“Licking honey is a big fat lie. It can only work for one on one. It can’t work for someone overseas.
When I was active, the one I know that is 100% is the one that you tie the person’s picture with thread and bury it beside the grave of a person whose gender is same as the person you want to hit.
“After the person sends you money, you must buy ram and wear one tira round its neck.
The ram will die overnight! A Lagos big girl that does aristo and uses this on senators actually took me to where I did this one and the lady has been mentioned online over and over again.
“The barking like a dog is true , the one day madness is true and trust me you want to know the process. So many girls have been blacklisted in Dubai because of boys.
They will take her to Dubai, have her open account with her details and collect her card and checkbook.
When fraud is detected, the girl becomes wanted but she doesn’t know till when she goes back to Dubai and end up in jail.
“All these stuff aren’t exclusive to yahoo boys as it has been around since…yahoo boys just started adding it to business. Lastly many people do rituals and claim yahoo when it is not yahoo.
I actually did tax return and dating and made over N1.8 billion and then stopped. God forgive me!”

Honestly, you guys are so despicable and vile!

In your attempt at revisionism and trying to portray a people whose only 'crime' is that they're sick and tired of sharing the same country with scum, you resort to all manner of tall tales concocted in your lab of propaganda and falsehood!

How come the reports of so called Biafran 'atrocities' in your first link are being made known by a man who in all likelihood wasn't a participant in the war and who sounds like he's cut from the very same cloth as Itse Sagay (ie, dislikes Igbos)! I scanned your first link looking for the independent/neutral source of the authors allegations but found none! Probably he either imagines the stuff he wrote, or he was told so by another equally insecure bigot!

If such atrocities were actually committed by Biafran soldiers, doesn't it stand to reason that the federal gov't of the day would have made capital out of it to show to the whole world Biafran 'aggression' and 'wickedness'? This would have been a surefire way to win even more Midwesterners over to their side, don't you think? Wouldn't there be newspaper reports on such 'atrocities' that can be referred to or quoted?

Instead, what we have (you second link is proof of this as well) is someone, twenty years after the uncivil war, waking up in the morning and sitting down in their study to cook up a yarn worthy of the Pulitzer prize for literature!

Given how evil the federal gov't of the time was (the fulani were actually pulling the strings behind the scene...forget that dumb christian called Gowon being HoS), it wouldn't be beyond the realms of possibility to suggest that they actually carried out a couple of atrocities in the Midwest themselves and then turned around to blame the Biafrans!....They're that devious!! It's a tried and tested technique that's still in use even till today where you see mercenaries, bandits and foreign terrorists wearing the Nigerian army uniform to commit unspeakable evil on civilians (most of whom are christians and middle-beltans)!

Here are a few INDEPENDENT links on the Nigerian atrocities in Biafra...not conjecture, tales-by-moonlight, or malaria-induced hallucinations!:

Oga, I don't think I ever said Nigerian soldiers did not commit atrocities, are you trying to defend biafran soldiers that they did not committed any atrocities against the people of Midwest. Oga stop looking for sympathy. You commit atrocities, everyone forgets about it and moved on. They commit against you, you started crying victim as if you people are innocent. Thinking people cares anymore. Can you swear with your life that biafran soldiers did not molest, rape n killed the people of Midwest. They change history, which history, so it is the one your ipob wrote down that is right. Why have you people never talked of how you people bombed Yoruba people inside casino in Lagos?

My friend forget that thing very few people know Nollywood stars in the North. The only popular actors you find in the north are Northern actors and the likes of jet li and Jackie chan. They also watch Indian films a lot but not Igbo or Yoruba movies.

As for psquare and Don jazzy I respect their works but they are now obsolete. Phyno and the rest are nothing to write home about. As for Linda ikeji simply compare her with seu.n. The super eagles work with other tribes so one cannot lay claim to it. We have Ahmed Musa and their likes so forget about that one.

Of course importation is a must for evey country but not in the way you igbos are bragging about it. I was once a mini importer and I can assure you that next-to zero skills are required to do it. Real achievers boast of what they manufacture and not what they importcheesy
