while I agree with the quote when applied to other life situations, circumstances and scenarios,I kinda disagree as regards Erica’s disqualification.

I feel Erica was actually the architect of the misfortune that befell her. Erica had two strikes and a strong warning prior to her outburst that Saturday night, she got these two strikes In a game where most of the players will always put themselves and their interests first. she knew she was walking on egg shells and yet decided to throw cautions to the wind the way she did? The only explanation to this is that; Erica’s head left the game a long time ago. She lost focus and forgot she was in a “winner takes all” competition, where each and every player would want to achieve this objective (to win) by any means necessary.

These housemates don’t like themselves as they are portraying or making us to believe. it’s a “winner takes all” competition and yet you think these housemates will stop Erica from activating the self destruct sequence that led to her disqualification? Nah! This is the reason why her disqualification is seen by the housemates as another giant step towards the ultimate prize( a major threat down)

Erica wore her emotions on her sleeves too much while playing the game. She dived in too deep with her heart and refused to use her head when it mattered. You have just got to go in with your emotions in check when playing these kinda games, after all, it’s a game of the hearts and emotions...who plays such a game with their emotions unguarded?

Who was responsible for the two strikes she got prior to her outburst? Kidd, an ally but also a competition. Who was mixing drinks and serving her and the other housemates during the party? Kidd! While Kidd’s intentions might not be malicious or harmful, let’s not forget that the same Kidd admitted to getting Laycon and Ozor drunk on purpose just to “catch cruise” Meaning, Ozor and Laycon could have also had their chances of advancing in the competition ruined, if they had misbehaved... thereby becoming the architect of their own misfortune in the process.

Erica stopped using her head and this happened ‘cos she lost focus. Was Kidd a major distraction? Hell yeah! Should kidd a fellow player of the game be blamed? Absolutely No!
Nengi and dorathy are also players in this game, you think these two ladies don’t wanna love, be vulnerable and loosen up by throwing cautions to the wind? Trust me, they do. The fear of getting played by the game is what has been holding them back, hence why they are grounded and focused.

Erica sold herself cheaply. Wathoni was right when she said that Kidd never went after any girl in the house. After forming Saint when Kidd touched her little oranges at the party, she still went on to have sex with him non stop. There was no point interrupting the conversation with Nengi. That was a high level desperation and disgrace as they both (Kidd and Nengi) kept talking.


The same Erica ran to Nengi to tell her they're the hottest girls in the house.
Same woman said Wathoni and Kaisha do not deserve the real men in the house. According to her, the real men were Ozo, Kidd, Neo, Prince and Praise. If it was Neo or Prince that said she attempted kissing him, I'm sure she wouldn't have gotten so high cos she regards them as real men.

Even Tacha with all her wahala cooled down after two strikes. She only started showing herself again when the strikes were erased.

But this one got two strikes some weeks ago and a strong final warning last Sunday, yet she went wild for something not even worth it. I really believe that ogbanje story. There's something not quite right somewhere.

Her fans were busy hailing her as the Queen of content. See where the content has led her to. The taint of disqualification stinks. Kiddwaya was Erica's downfall

*First Strike she was caught speaking with Kiddwaya in hush tones trying to gossip without the Microphone catching her

*Second Strike she was fvcking and giving Kiddwaya Mouth Action and when the camera crew saw them Kiddwaya threw them the middle finger, and Erica followed suite

*3rd and final strike, Kiddwaya was hanging out with Nengi and asking her out touching her in front of Erica and getting Erica very provoked and having mini mental breakdown..

This lead to her insulting housemates starting from Laycon, pouring water on HOH rooms bed to stop Prince from sleeping, speaking to the camera crew out of anger

Having considered the events of last night seriously, I will now give my assessment of the situation.

ERICA: she is too real, genuine and good to the point of naivety. She wants to be good to everybody and offend none. She is too loyal to people and expect complete loyalty from them too. She completely gives all and try to make everybody happy, even when she owes them nothing. When she picked kid as deputy, she did her best not to make laycon feel bad by explaining to him. Same happened to prince. She feels she owes prince a favour for being the one who "stopped him" from winning HOH when he came close the most, and even had to explain to ozo why she didnt choose tricky. You can say she is "loose" considering the way she gave kid all, but her mild and firm insistence that she is not attracted to laycon shows at least for what we see, that she is not a slut.For people who trust totally, betrayal of such loyalty provokes wild emotional reaction. We just saw it this morning.

KIDWAYA: He thinks he is playing game by not being loyal. How can you not be on her side when she has always been for you? Does he even know that laycon hates him more than Erica because laycon feels he took Erica from him. Laycon will still stab him deep in the back. Erica got her strikes largely because of her loyalty. Why didn't he make any effort at restraining Erica. He thinks if she gets disqualified he'll nave more fans? Lol

LAYCON: Dude is manipulative. Yes! He wanted to use Erica to trend and gain sympathy when Erica told him she wasn't attracted to him. Went about telling people she wanted to kiss him "a couple of times". Even Erica got visibly enraged the moment Ebuka revealed it. later When she asked for explanation, you waved her aside but when you saw that she has had a feel of drunkenness late night after the party, you suddenly developed interest over the issue. Such a snake. Is that how you pay her back for being your friend when everyone else looked down on you?

PRINCE: A bad dude, a wicked fellow and kid's asslicker. Erica that you are discussing about with dora and lucy is the same person who saved your failed ass from eviction today. No attempt to call a spade nor to stop you from acting out of order because you feel siding against her increases your chances and make you friend with kid after the show. This dude has been hiding his real aggressive, violent lying and malicious self the most in the house. Erica was right to call him all those names. Disloyal friends!

TRICYTEE: Although she owes Erika nothing, he is afraid of saying the truth and offending kid whom he asslicks. I learnt he later blamed laycon, prince and kid when they were not around. That shows he knows the truth. All these disloyalty had Erica frustrated, especially from people who owe her loyalty in return. Even ozo would have acted better if he was sober.

If she is punished I won't be shocked, but a disqualification may not be very fair considering that her previous strikes and the latest incident didn't involve physical violence. Considering also that Laycon, Neo and Vee also misbehaved and violated rules in varying degrees.
