Functions of Calcium carbonate and sodium chloride (common salt).


In a simple term, they all have cleansing property or ability. So, adding(mixing) them up with Bicarbonate increases the cleansing power of your product.

(2) i think you forgot to include d production process after listing materials & quantity (3) i noticed there are 2 types of containers in d picture sent. One with piston head which contains liquid(colourless) & d other container contain whitish semi-liquid subtance. Pls clarify d two sir. (3) how did u get d plastic sir? Do we need to contact plastic companies or can get it easily in the market in numbers. (4) Do we need to print d ingredients used i mean, the materials even perctgs on d sticker just to make it standard standard?

Okay, let me quickly explain the unit stuff.

Unit represents anything you may want to use as your measuring tool. E.g. A tin milk cup.

So, if you choose to use tin milk cup as your measurement for the above practical, it means:

1.Baking soda (sodium bicarbonate)---------------2 cups

2. Sodium chloride(salt)------- 1 cup

3. Calcium carbonate-----------1 cup

SCOURING POWDER

Ingredients


1. Baking soda------------2 Units

2. Sodium chloride (table Salt)------------------------1 Unit

3. Calcium carbonate--------------------1 unit


PROCEDURE
1. Pour all the ingredients into a bucket or
bowl.

2. Mix or stir properly until well mixed.

3. Finally, package for use.



Hope we all understand the unit thing as used in measurement. Let me know if I have to explain please.

Alright Sir.

Scouring powder is a cleansing powder formulated to remove tough stains and clean surfaces or things, such as: pots (back of pots mostly),bath tubes, toilets, cookers, tiles, ceramics etc.

It's also effective in removing grease and can also act as an anti-germs, depending on the formulation.

Common example, VIM POWDER.
