Building a CBT application, exam preparation platform, school portal or EdTech product already comes with enough expenses. You may need to pay for hosting, databases, domains, app store accounts, UI designs and other development tools. Paying for an exam API or buying a large question bank before you even know whether your application works should not have to be another one of those expenses. That is one of the reasons SdashAPI gives developers 2,000 free credits to start building and testing. With 2,000 free SdashAPI credits, you can connect your application to an actual exam question API, make requests, test your interface and understand how your application behaves before deciding which paid plan you need. Start building with your 2,000 free credits on SdashAPI. The Problem With Building a CBT App From Scratch Imagine you have an idea for a CBT application. You want students to select an examination, choose a subject, answer questions, submit their answers and immediately see their scores and explanations. The software development itself may not be the biggest problem. The real question quickly becomes: Where will all the questions come from? You need questions. You need options. You need correct answers. You may need explanations, passages, years, subjects, topics, difficulty information and other metadata. Then you discover an exam question provider and are immediately asked to pay before you have even completed your application. That creates a difficult situation for a developer. You don't know exactly how the API will behave inside your application. You haven't finished your CBT interface. You may still be experimenting with your database structure. You don't know how many API requests your application will eventually make. Yet you're already being asked to commit money. SdashAPI approaches this differently. New developers can start with 2,000 free credits for development and testing. Start With 2,000 Free SdashAPI Credits The idea is simple: Build first. Test first. Pay when you're actually ready for production. SdashAPI provides a sandbox environment with 2,000 free credits, giving developers room to experiment with the API before committing to a paid plan. Those 2,000 free credits allow you to work with actual API responses while developing your application. Instead of filling your application with temporary questions such as: What is 2 + 2? or manually creating dummy JSON just to see whether your interface works, you can build around the same type of structured exam data your application is intended to use. Your development environment becomes much closer to your eventual production environment. Explore the API and start with 2,000 free credits at SdashAPI. What Can You Do With 2,000 Free Credits? A lot can happen during the testing stage of an application. Suppose you're building a CBT platform. You could use your 2,000 free SdashAPI credits while developing features such as subject selection, question loading, answer selection, scoring, explanations, navigation between questions, timers and result pages. You can test how your application parses API responses. You can test what happens when a student requests Mathematics questions. You can test another subject. You can test your loading states. You can test your database integration. You can check how questions and options appear on different screen sizes. You can experiment with caching. You can develop your scoring logic. You can test how explanations appear after an examination. You can even use the development period to estimate approximately how many questions or credits your production application might consume. And you're doing all of this with the 2,000 free credits available for testing instead of immediately purchasing a large question bank. A Practical Example Let's say David wants to build a mobile CBT application. His application will allow students to practise UTME questions. David has designed the login page and dashboard, but he hasn't built the actual examination interface yet. Traditionally, David might start searching for someone selling a large JSON question bank. Suppose he pays for the dataset. Three weeks later, David changes the architecture of his application. Now he discovers that the format of the dataset doesn't fit his database structure very well. Some information he expected isn't available. He needs to write additional scripts to restructure everything. The project hasn't launched, but money has already been spent. There is another approach. David creates an account with SdashAPI and starts with the 2,000 free credits available for testing. He connects the API. He makes his first request. The questions appear inside his application. Now he can build his CBT interface around actual responses. He develops the timer, question navigation, answer selection and scoring system. He checks how explanations appear. He tests multiple subjects and fixes bugs in his implementation. Those 2,000 free credits become his development playground. Only when David's application is ready to move toward production does he need to think seriously about a paid API plan. That is a much friendlier development process. Development and Production Should Be Separate There is another important advantage. The API key you use while experimenting does not have to become the key you permanently use in production. During development, you can create an API key specifically for your testing environment. For example: Development CBT App → Development API Key → SdashAPI → Testing You use your 2,000 free credits while building, debugging and experimenting. When your application is ready for real users, you can create a different API key for production. Production Live CBT App → Production API Key → SdashAPI → Real Users This gives you a cleaner separation between development and production. It also makes managing your application easier because your testing activity does not need to be mixed unnecessarily with your live application's API usage. Test Like You're Building for Production A common problem in software development is building everything with fake data and discovering problems only when real data is introduced. Your fake question may contain one sentence. A real examination question might contain a much longer passage. Your dummy data might have four tiny options. Real questions may have longer answer choices. Some questions can also require additional information or formatting. Your interface needs to handle these situations. That is why testing against realistic API responses can be much more useful than designing everything around placeholder content. The 2,000 free SdashAPI credits give developers an opportunity to see how their application behaves before launch. You are not simply looking at API documentation and hoping your implementation works. You can actually build with it. You Don't Have to Start With an Expensive Plan Another important part of SdashAPI is flexibility. Finishing development does not automatically mean that you need the biggest API subscription available. Perhaps you've completed your application, but you're launching with only a small group of students. You can start according to your actual usage. One option available on SdashAPI is Pay As You Go. This can be useful when you're moving beyond the free testing environment but aren't yet ready to commit to larger usage. Your journey could look something like this: Create SdashAPI Account ↓ Receive 2,000 Free Credits ↓ Build Your CBT/EdTech Application ↓ Test With Real API Responses ↓ Fix Bugs and Complete Development ↓ Create a Separate Production API Key ↓ Choose Pay As You Go or an Appropriate API Plan ↓ Launch Your Application ↓ Upgrade as Your User Base and API Usage Grow That is how infrastructure for developers should work. Your API plan should grow with your product instead of forcing your product to grow around an expensive commitment made on day one. You Can Build More Than a CBT App The 2,000 free SdashAPI credits are not useful only for traditional CBT applications. Developers can experiment while building different types of educational products. You might be working on a web-based exam preparation platform, mobile learning application, school practice portal, quiz application, revision platform, mock examination system or another educational product that needs structured examination questions. The important part is that you have room to build and test your idea before making a larger commitment. Why This Matters for Student Developers This is particularly important for young developers and student founders. Someone learning React, React Native, Flutter, PHP, Laravel, Node.js, Python or another technology may have a brilliant education product idea without having a large budget. The person may simply want to build an MVP. Requiring that developer to purchase thousands of questions before writing the first useful version of the application creates an unnecessary barrier. 2,000 free credits can remove part of that barrier. Create your project. Connect the API. Build your first endpoint integration. See the response. Render the questions. Build your examination screen. Make mistakes. Fix them. Test again. That is what a development environment is supposed to allow. What Happens When the 2,000 Free Credits Finish? The 2,000 free credits are intended to help you get started and test your integration. When your application is ready to go beyond development, you can choose the SdashAPI plan appropriate for your project. You don't need to rebuild your entire application. Your integration is already there. Your interface is already working. Your API requests have already been tested. At that point, you can move to Pay As You Go or select another available API plan based on the scale and requirements of your application. This means the decision to pay comes at a much more sensible point in your development journey: when you've already seen the API working inside your own product. From 2,000 Free Credits to Your First Real Users Think about the difference. Instead of: Pay → Get Access → Start Testing → Discover Whether It Works SdashAPI allows you to approach development as: Get 2,000 Free Credits → Test → Build → Understand Your Usage → Choose a Plan → Launch That small difference can make a huge difference to an independent developer or early-stage EdTech founder. It gives you time to answer important questions before spending money. Does the API work for my application? Can I display the questions correctly? How should I structure my database? How many API requests will my application make? How should I handle explanations? How should I separate development from production? How much capacity might I actually need after launch? Your 2,000 free credits help you find those answers through actual development rather than guesses. Build First. Pay When You're Ready to Launch. You shouldn't have to buy a massive question bank simply because you have an idea for a CBT application. And you shouldn't have to commit to a large API plan before you've written and tested your integration. With SdashAPI, you can begin with 2,000 free credits, connect your application, test the environment, build your core features and see how everything works together. When development is complete, create a separate production API key and choose the plan that fits your application. If your project is still small, you can begin with Pay As You Go. As your application grows, your infrastructure can grow with it. The goal is simple: Give developers enough room to actually build. Start your CBT or EdTech project with 2,000 free SdashAPI credits today. Get Started With SdashAPI and Claim Your 2,000 Free Credits SdashAPI — Exam data infrastructure built for developers.

From Humble Beginnings to a Life of Purpose: The Inspiring Journey of Sen. Nwankwo Ipere Kelvin “Onyendozi” The story of **Sen. Nwankwo Ipere Kelvin, popularly known as Onyendozi**, is one shaped by resilience, leadership, service and an enduring determination to keep moving forward despite setbacks. A graduate of Biochemistry from Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike (AE-FUNAI), Kelvin's journey stretches from the responsibilities of a young schoolboy to serving as President of the Students' Union Government and becoming involved in broader student advocacy. But his journey was far from straightforward. It included changing schools, financial difficulties, unsuccessful attempts to join the military, electoral defeat and the everyday challenges of university life. Through each stage, however, one theme remained constant: **service**. ## Leadership Started in the Classroom Kelvin's leadership journey began long before university politics. During primary school, he served as Class Monitor from Primary 2 through Primary 6 before becoming General Head Boy. At the time, leadership was not something he understood in terms of politics or positions. It simply meant accepting responsibility, representing other pupils, following school rules and setting an example. After completing primary school with distinction in the 2012/2013 academic session, he received a scholarship opportunity to continue his education at Sagacity International College, Abaomege. Secondary school brought additional responsibilities. He became a Class Captain and later served as School Regulator and Timekeeper. His education, however, took an unexpected turn when a reduction in the school's population forced him to transfer during his SS1 first term. He continued at Standard Foundation Schools and eventually served as Senior Prefect before graduating in 2019. It was an early lesson that would become important throughout his life: sometimes plans change, but a change of direction does not necessarily mean the journey is over. ## Rejection, Uncertainty and a Different Path After secondary school, Kelvin dreamed of serving Nigeria through the military. In 2020, he sought admission into the Nigerian Defence Academy but was not selected. He tried another route in 2021 through the Nigerian Navy recruitment process. Again, he was not selected. For many young people, repeated rejection can make the future feel uncertain. Kelvin chose to continue. In 2022, he wrote JAMB again. This time, the journey took him to **Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, Ikwo, Ebonyi State**, where he was admitted to study Biochemistry. The military career he originally imagined had not materialised, but university opened another path through which his interest in leadership, advocacy and service could grow. ## Finding His Voice at AE-FUNAI Kelvin quickly became involved in student representation at AE-FUNAI. He served as a Course Representative, a position that taught him some of the practical realities of leadership: listening to people's concerns, communicating effectively, approaching authorities and representing others responsibly. He later contested for the position of Faculty Internal Auditor. He lost. Rather than allowing the electoral defeat to end his involvement in student leadership, Kelvin accepted the outcome and continued serving. That setback became another lesson in his journey: leadership is not defined only by electoral victories. ## From Senate President to SUG President By his second year, Kelvin's responsibilities had expanded significantly. He became **Senate President of the National Association of Ebonyi State Students (NAESS), AE-FUNAI Chapter**, and also served as Secretary-General of the National Association of Abakaliki Undergraduates (NAAU). His involvement extended into other student, traditional, community and cultural leadership structures. Eventually, years of increasingly significant responsibilities culminated in one of the biggest milestones of his university journey: **Kelvin became President of the Students' Union Government of AE-FUNAI.** For him, the position represented much more than winning an election. The Class Monitor, Head Boy, Class Captain, Senior Prefect, Course Representative, unsuccessful electoral candidate, Senate President and association leader had all accumulated experiences that prepared him for a larger responsibility. ## Putting Service at the Centre of Leadership Kelvin's administration approached the SUG presidency as an opportunity for student advocacy and service. Its programmes covered areas including academic support, health, welfare, entrepreneurship, career development, transportation, sports, infrastructure and community relations. Among the initiatives was the **Freshers' Rights and Dinner Night**, designed to welcome newly admitted students while educating them about their rights and responsibilities within the university community. The administration also organised a medical outreach programme and supported health-awareness initiatives for students. Female students were reached through an empowerment and enlightenment programme involving members of the National Youth Service Corps, while programmes such as **Student Compass** and **Beyond the Classroom** focused on preparing students for careers and life after graduation. The message behind these programmes was simple: university education should prepare students for more than examinations. ## Giving Students a Voice Another major focus of Kelvin's leadership was communication between students and those responsible for decisions affecting them. His administration created opportunities for students to raise concerns, share ideas and engage directly with their representatives. This approach also influenced the organisation of the **AE-FUNAI Town Hall Meeting**, which brought relevant stakeholders together to discuss issues affecting students and the university's relationship with its host community. One of the issues discussed was a security levy imposed on students by the host community. Instead of relying solely on confrontation, the administration pursued dialogue and engagement, reinforcing Kelvin's belief that leadership sometimes requires negotiation and the ability to bring different interests to the same table. ## Academics, Transportation and Student Welfare The administration also supported tutorial classes, particularly for 100-level students adjusting to university academics. Transportation and mobility were addressed through advocacy and support for measures intended to make movement within the campus environment easier. Physical interventions included efforts toward providing a bus stop at the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences and supporting improvements relating to safety, security and recreational facilities. For Kelvin, these everyday concerns mattered because leadership was not only about large projects. It was also about solving practical problems that affected students' daily lives. ## The First AE-FUNAI Trade Fair One of the notable milestones recorded during the administration was the organisation of the **first AE-FUNAI Trade Fair**. The event created a platform for students to showcase their businesses, products, skills and entrepreneurial abilities. Behind the initiative was a broader belief that students should graduate with an understanding that their futures do not have to depend solely on searching for traditional employment. They can also become entrepreneurs, innovators, creators and employers. ## NELFUND and Student Advocacy Kelvin's administration was also involved in issues surrounding student financing and the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND). He led a delegation to a NELFUND sensitisation summit where educational financing and students' access to the scheme were discussed. The administration also advocated for students experiencing difficulties involving NELFUND payments, refunds and related financial concerns. Other engagements involved working with university management on issues affecting student welfare, including electricity and concerns involving medical students. ## Leadership Beyond AE-FUNAI Kelvin's involvement in student advocacy eventually extended beyond his university. He participated in broader student leadership structures, including activities connected with the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) and the Council of SUG Presidents in Ebonyi State. These engagements brought him into contact with student leaders from other institutions, university administrators, government officials and community stakeholders. They also exposed him to the wider challenges affecting Nigerian students and strengthened his understanding of advocacy, diplomacy, collaboration and representation. ## A Journey Defined by Service Looking across Kelvin's journey, the offices and titles changed repeatedly. Class Monitor. General Head Boy. Class Captain. Senior Prefect. Course Representative. Senate President. Association leader. Student advocate. SUG President. But underneath those positions was a consistent idea: service. Kelvin does not describe his leadership journey as perfect. There were difficult decisions, setbacks and lessons along the way. What mattered to him was giving his time, energy and voice to causes he believed could improve the lives of the people he represented. His service also attracted recognition from different student and academic communities, including honours connected with student governance, leadership and student service. Yet he maintains that recognition was never the primary purpose of serving. ## Signing Out and Beginning Again On **21 August 2026**, Kelvin officially signed out from the Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Biological Sciences, Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike. It marked the completion of his undergraduate journey, but also provided an opportunity to reflect on everything that had brought him there. The young boy who once served as Class Monitor had become a university graduate. The aspiring military officer who faced rejection had found another path. The candidate who once lost an election had eventually become SUG President. The undergraduate who arrived to study Biochemistry left with much more than academic knowledge. He left with experiences in leadership, advocacy, negotiation, service and human relationships. ## A Message to Young People Perhaps the strongest lesson from Kelvin's story is that beginnings do not determine endings. Failure does not automatically mean the end of a dream, and rejection does not necessarily mean there is no other path forward. His message to young people is to keep learning, working, serving, improving and moving forward even when life does not follow the original plan. Small responsibilities should not be despised because they may become preparation for something much greater. The classroom monitor may one day become a student union president. The unsuccessful candidate may eventually lead. The closed door may redirect someone toward an opportunity they never imagined. ## The Story Continues Graduation may have closed Kelvin's chapter at AE-FUNAI, but he does not consider it the conclusion of his journey. He describes himself as standing at the beginning of another chapter, carrying forward the values that shaped his university years: faith, integrity, hard work, humility, resilience, commitment, purpose and selfless service. His story so far is one of changing plans, setbacks, responsibility, leadership and growth. From a humble beginning to a life increasingly defined by purpose, **Sen. Nwankwo Ipere Kelvin “Onyendozi”** has travelled a considerable distance. And for him, graduation is not the final page. **It is another beginning.** |
Building a CBT application should not begin with paying for an API you have not tested. That is why SdashAPI has introduced a Sandbox Account that gives developers 2,000 API credits to test our CBT questions API before choosing a paid plan. With the sandbox, developers can connect their applications to SdashAPI, make real API requests, inspect the JSON responses and understand how the integration works. You can build and test important features such as: * Random question selection * Subject-based question filtering * Exam-year filtering * Answer checking * CBT practice sessions * Question navigation * Score calculation * Explanations and solutions SdashAPI provides structured questions for Nigerian examinations, including JAMB/UTME, WAEC/WASSCE, NECO, Post-UTME and university examinations. Instead of requiring developers to pay before writing their first line of integration code, the SdashAPI Sandbox Account provides enough credits to build a working prototype and confirm that the API fits their project. A Developer-Friendly Way to Test a Nigerian Past Questions API The sandbox is designed for developers building: * JAMB CBT applications * WAEC and NECO practice platforms * Post-UTME preparation websites * Educational mobile applications * School examination systems * Quiz and assessment platforms Every sandbox account receives 2,000 API credits. This makes it possible to test multiple endpoints, subjects and application flows without immediately committing to a paid subscription. We believe this is one of the most accessible sandbox offerings available from a Nigerian CBT questions API provider. It reflects our goal of making reliable educational data easier for developers and startups to access. Once your application is ready for real users, you can upgrade to a paid SdashAPI plan and gain broader access for production use. Create a SdashAPI Sandbox Account, get your API key and start building your CBT application. |
Inside SdashAPI V4: More Than Just Questions and Answers When developers hear “past questions API,” the first thing they usually imagine is a simple database: Question. Options. Answer. That works if all you want to build is a basic quiz. But modern exam preparation platforms can do much more than display questions and calculate scores. That is one of the reasons we continued developing SdashAPI beyond our original data structure. SdashAPI V4 is designed to give developers more context around each question. A question can contain structured information such as: Questions and options Correct answers Exam type and year Sections and instructions Passages where applicable Topics Subtopics Difficulty levels Detailed solutions and explanations Common mistakes Images and diagrams where available Additional metadata Why does all of this matter? Because every extra piece of structured information gives developers another opportunity to build something useful. Take topics and subtopics. Instead of only giving students 50 random Mathematics questions, your application could allow them to practise specifically on Algebra, Trigonometry or another area they are struggling with. Now add difficulty levels. You could create an adaptive practice system where questions become more challenging as the student improves. Add detailed solutions. Instead of telling a student that option C is correct, your platform can explain how the answer was reached. Add common mistakes. Now you can help students understand not only the correct answer, but the reasoning that commonly leads learners to choose the wrong one. Add exam years. Students can practise questions from specific periods or your application can analyze how questions and topics are distributed across different years. Add passages, sections, images and diagrams. Now your system can handle more complex question formats instead of treating every question as plain text. And this is where structured educational data becomes interesting. The same dataset can power completely different products. One developer might use SdashAPI to build a traditional CBT simulator. Another could build a topic-based revision app. Another could create an AI-powered study assistant. Another could build performance analytics that identifies a student’s weakest topics. Another could create personalized tests automatically based on previous performance. The API provides the data layer. What developers build on top of it is where the creativity begins. We have continued updating SdashAPI because we don’t want it to simply become a place where developers fetch past questions. The bigger goal is to provide educational infrastructure developers can build serious learning products on top of. There is still plenty we’re improving, more data we’re structuring and more features we’re working on. But that is the direction. SdashAPI V4 isn’t just about giving your application more data. It’s about giving your application more context. And context gives developers more things they can build. sdashapi.com
|
The data behind a good CBT app is more important than most developers realize. You can build a beautiful interface. You can add animations, dashboards, timers, leaderboards, dark mode and every other feature students expect. But if the educational data behind the product is poorly structured, incomplete or difficult to work with, the limitations eventually show. This is something we have learned while building SdashAPI and working with developers building different types of exam preparation products. A question bank should not simply look like this: Question Option A Option B Option C Option D Correct Answer That is enough to display a question, but it is not enough to build a serious learning system. Imagine a student answers 100 questions. A basic system can tell them: “You scored 63/100.” Useful, but there is much more you could tell that student if your data is properly structured. Which topics caused most of the failed questions? Which subtopics should the student revise? Were most of the difficult questions coming from a particular area? What mistakes does the student repeatedly make? Can the system automatically generate another practice session focused on those weaknesses? Can you show a detailed explanation after each failed question instead of simply displaying the correct option? Can students practise only one topic? Can they filter questions by year? Can your application distinguish between a normal question, a passage-based question and one that requires a diagram? These features depend heavily on how your educational data is structured. That is one of the problems we are trying to solve with SdashAPI. Our newer data structures go beyond simply providing questions and answers. Depending on the dataset and version, developers can work with structured fields such as: Questions and options Correct answers Exam years and exam types Sections and instructions Passages Topics Subtopics Difficulty levels Detailed solutions and explanations Common mistakes Images and diagrams where available Mathematical content where applicable Additional question metadata That structure opens up a lot more possibilities. A developer can build topic-based practice. Another can build a CBT simulator. Someone else can build an AI tutor that uses the question metadata to explain areas where a student is struggling. You can build performance analytics that go beyond scores. You can create revision recommendations based on weak topics. You can build custom tests around specific subjects, topics, subtopics, years or difficulty levels. And you don’t necessarily have to spend months manually creating and structuring the underlying dataset before you can start building the actual product. That is where SdashAPI comes in. We started building SdashAPI because we understood how much work goes into collecting, organizing, updating and maintaining educational data at scale. Since launching, we’ve continued expanding the database, improving the API, fixing issues, refining our data structure and listening to what developers actually need. We’ve also provided datasets to startups and more advanced CBT preparation platforms that prefer working directly with structured data. There is still a lot we want to improve. There are still datasets we’re updating. There are still features we’re building. And there will always be things to fix as the platform grows. But the long-term idea behind SdashAPI is simple: Developers building educational products should be able to spend more time building great learning experiences and less time manually rebuilding the same educational data infrastructure. The UI is what the student sees. The data is what determines how intelligent the product can become. That is the part of EdTech infrastructure we’re working on with SdashAPI. sdashapi.com
|
If you’re building a JAMB practice app, the question database is probably going to be one of the most time-consuming parts of the project. At first, it sounds simple: Get past questions. Add options. Store the correct answers. Display them in CBT format. But once the product grows, you start needing much more. You need to organize questions by subject, year, topic and subtopic. You need explanations so students can actually learn from failed questions. You may need passages, sections, diagrams and mathematical content. Then comes search, filtering, random practice, topic-based tests, performance analysis and personalized recommendations. And every new batch of questions still needs to follow the same structure. This is where having a properly structured data layer becomes important. It’s also one of the problems we’re solving with SdashAPI. Instead of every EdTech developer spending months rebuilding and maintaining the same exam data infrastructure, SdashAPI provides structured educational data that developers can integrate into their own products. You handle the experience you want to create. We handle a large part of the data work behind it. That could be a simple CBT app today, or a much more intelligent learning platform tomorrow. sdashapi.com |
Your CBT app needs more than questions and correct answers. A student answers a question incorrectly. What happens next? A basic CBT app says: Wrong. The correct answer is B. A better learning platform explains why B is correct, why the other options are wrong, what topic the question came from, the subtopic involved, and where the student is struggling. That’s the kind of data we’re building into SdashAPI. Our structured datasets can include questions, options, answers, topics, subtopics, sections, passages, detailed solutions, common mistakes, images and other useful metadata. Because a good CBT platform shouldn’t just test students. It should help them understand why they got it wrong and become better before the actual exam. That’s what we’re building SdashAPI for. |
Stop hardcoding past questions into your CBT app. If you’re building a JAMB, WAEC, NECO or university CBT platform, managing thousands of questions manually will eventually become a problem. That’s one of the reasons we built SdashAPI. Instead of spending weeks building and maintaining your own question database, you can access structured exam data through an API. With SdashAPI, you can work with: Questions and options Correct answers Sections and passages Topics and subtopics Detailed solutions and explanations Difficulty levels Common mistakes Images and diagrams where available Question metadata And more This means you can build smarter features like topic-based practice, performance analysis, revision systems and personalized learning without starting your dataset from zero. We handle the data infrastructure while you focus on building a better product. SdashAPI is built for developers building serious educational products. sdashapi.com |
SdashAPI has completed a major API upgrade, introducing V1, V2, V3 and V4 to give developers a more powerful way to access and work with Nigerian examination data. The new architecture goes beyond simply providing past questions by adding structured metadata, detailed explanations and intelligent question discovery. With SdashAPI V1, developers can retrieve core examination questions, options, answers, solutions, examination types and years, making it suitable for building JAMB CBT apps, WAEC practice platforms, NECO revision apps, Post-UTME applications, university examination systems and quiz platforms. V2 introduces richer examination metadata and taxonomy, including topics, subtopics, difficulty levels, question types, skills, tags and passage information. This makes it easier to build topic-based revision, personalized learning experiences and more advanced CBT systems. V3 takes the learning experience further with detailed explanations, providing summaries, step-by-step explanations, reasons why an answer is correct and explanations for incorrect options. This allows developers to build educational applications that do more than mark an answer as right or wrong. V4 introduces intelligent similar-question capabilities, allowing applications to discover questions related to a specific question. Developers can use this to create recommended questions, adaptive practice, topic reinforcement and smarter learning experiences. Together, SdashAPI V1, V2, V3 and V4 provide a complete foundation for developers building modern Nigerian educational applications around JAMB, UTME, WAEC, WASSCE, NECO, Post-UTME and university examination questions. The API works with standard HTTP requests and JSON, with SDK support available for JavaScript, TypeScript and Python. Whether you are looking for a JAMB API, WAEC API, NECO API, Post-UTME API, Nigerian past questions API or a CBT API for your education platform, the new SdashAPI architecture gives you structured examination data that can be integrated directly into your application. Read the full article to see how V1, V2, V3 and V4 work, explore API request and response examples, and learn how developers can use the new architecture to build smarter CBT and educational platforms. Sen. Nwankwo Ipere Kelvin (Onyendozi De Ultimate): A Young Leader Driven by Resilience, Advocacy and Service Sen. Nwankwo Ipere Kelvin, popularly known as Onyendozi (De Ultimate), is a Nigerian student leader, researcher, political crusader, entrepreneur, speaker, baker, caterer, and advocate for student welfare and development. A native of Abaomege Autonomous Community in Onicha Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, Kelvin is currently a 400-level Medical Biochemistry student at Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike Ikwo (AE-FUNAI), Ebonyi State, and resides in Abakaliki. His journey is one shaped by leadership, resilience, dedication, commitment, advocacy, and an enduring desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Early Life and Educational Journey Kelvin’s leadership journey did not begin at the university. According to him, it has been developing since his primary school years. His early education was at Abaomege Central School, where he was entrusted with leadership responsibilities from a young age. He served as a class monitor from Primary 1 through Primary 6, before becoming General Headboy and taking part in chaplaincy activities. He continued this pattern of leadership during his secondary education at Standard Foundation Schools, Abaomege. There, he served as a Class Captain, later became a School Regulator, and eventually rose to the position of Senior Prefect. His educational journey also included his time at World of Believers Seminary School, which added another dimension to his personal and educational development. Looking at his journey, there is a clear progression: Class Monitor → General Headboy/Chaplaincy → Class Captain → School Regulator → Senior Prefect → Course Representative → SUG ASG → SUG President. For Kelvin, this progression demonstrates that his interest in leadership did not suddenly begin when he entered the university. Leadership has been a recurring part of his life from childhood. He describes the lessons from his early life simply: “To be resilient, dedicated, and committed.” He also identifies determination, resilience, and commitment as qualities that have played important roles in his journey. University Education and Leadership At Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike Ikwo, Kelvin’s leadership journey expanded beyond the classroom into broader student representation and university governance. His first leadership position in the institution was as a Course Representative. As he progressed through the university, he took on additional responsibilities and became increasingly involved in student leadership. At 200 level, he served as Secretary General of the Course Representative Forum, AE-FUNAI. At 300 level, he served as SUG ASG and also became President of the National Association of Onicha Local Government Area Undergraduates. His leadership journey eventually culminated in his emergence as the AE-FUNAI SUG President, a position through which he represents and leads a student body of approximately 20,000 students, according to the information he provided. His experience in student governance has exposed him to administrative responsibilities, working under pressure, engaging with people from diverse backgrounds, and addressing issues affecting students. Beyond his university, Kelvin has also participated in broader student leadership activities, including serving as a Senator in NANS Zone F. He has also served in various student and community organizations, including as Secretary General of the National Association of Abaomege Undergraduates and Coordinator of Okwerike Village Students, alongside other associations. Leadership Through Advocacy and Service Kelvin’s approach to leadership is strongly connected to advocacy and service. During his time in student leadership, he has been involved in issues surrounding student welfare, academic challenges, infrastructure, accommodation, transportation, NELFund-related matters, student engagement, and university administration. Among the projects and achievements he identifies from his administration are the renovation of restrooms, construction of seat-out facilities, and electrification of the AEFUMTHA hostel. He also highlighted initiatives such as Students Compass, Pad a Girl Child, and Beyond the Classroom, which were created as part of his administration’s efforts to address issues affecting students beyond their regular academic activities. According to Kelvin, these initiatives were inspired by his promise to students and his determination to deliver on that promise. He believes such programmes can help reduce students’ tendency to loiter around and instead encourage productive engagement and development. He also states that many students, particularly students within the Faculty of Biological Sciences, have benefited from some of these initiatives. Scholarships, Opportunities and Student Support Another aspect of Kelvin’s student leadership has been his involvement in creating and connecting students with opportunities. He mentions opportunities and scholarship initiatives involving organizations such as OPay and ASUU, describing the opportunities provided to students as numerous. He has also organized and participated in several summits, webinars, conferences, and training programmes, using such platforms to engage students and young people on issues around leadership, development, and entrepreneurship. For Kelvin, leadership is not simply about holding an office. It is also about creating opportunities and helping other people move forward. A Researcher, Political Crusader and Mentor Kelvin is popularly known for his work as a researcher and political crusader. His major areas of passion include leadership and business mentorship. He has developed an interest in speaking with young leaders and helping young people understand leadership, personal development, and entrepreneurship. His free time, he says, is often spent speaking to young leaders. He has also participated in speaking engagements at conferences, summits, webinars, and other events, where he speaks primarily about leadership and business mentorship. Through volunteerism and community service, he continues to engage with and support young people. Entrepreneurship and the Food Business Beyond student leadership and advocacy, Kelvin is also an entrepreneur. He is the founder of De Ultimate Confectionery and Kitchen, a business focused on the production of cakes, biscuits, and food. His interest in the food business is driven by what he describes as his “hobby and my love for food.” His professional experience in the food industry also includes working with 5Star Food and Restaurants, where he worked as a cook. Today, he identifies himself as a baker and caterer, while also describing himself as a speaker and entrepreneur. His entrepreneurial journey represents another dimension of his personality: the desire to build something beyond politics and student leadership. Values That Define Him Kelvin identifies resilience, dedication, and commitment as his core values. These qualities appear repeatedly throughout his story, from his early years in school to his university leadership and entrepreneurial journey. He believes that determination, resilience, and commitment can significantly influence a person’s journey in life. His experiences have also taught him how to work under pressure and interact with people from diverse backgrounds. At the same time, Kelvin recognizes that leadership is a continuous learning process. He acknowledges that his boldness can sometimes become impatience and that his political instincts can sometimes make him react quickly. He understands that because he is accustomed to taking charge, learning when to listen, observe, and allow things to develop will remain important as he grows. This self-awareness reflects a young leader who sees leadership not as a finished achievement but as an ongoing process of personal development. From Student Politician to Young Professional Kelvin describes his current stage as a transition from student politician to young professional and statesman-in-training. His university years have given him visibility, relationships, political experience, leadership exposure, administrative experience, and opportunities to interact with students, university authorities, student leaders, and other stakeholders. However, he recognizes that student leadership is only one chapter of his larger journey. The next phase, in his view, should be about developing academic credentials, professional competence, financial independence, discipline, mentorship, and a strong reputation outside politics. His ambition extends beyond becoming popular or occupying political offices. He wants to become more knowledgeable, disciplined, competent, and valuable. For Kelvin, the ultimate goal is for his leadership to speak before his title does. Recognition and Achievements Kelvin has received recognition for his involvement in leadership and student affairs. Among the recognitions he mentions is an award as Political Figure of the Year 2026. He also identifies being among the best graduating students of the year as one of his notable academic achievements. These recognitions complement a leadership journey that has continued from primary school through secondary school and into university-wide student governance. His Vision for Leadership Kelvin’s leadership philosophy is centered on service, advocacy, development, and creating opportunities. He wants to be remembered as a good leader and an advocate for student welfare and development. For him, the importance of leadership goes beyond occupying a position. It is about using influence responsibly, opening doors for others, solving problems, and leaving institutions and communities better than they were found. His story demonstrates a desire to combine leadership with education, entrepreneurship, mentorship, and professional growth. Looking Ahead As Kelvin looks beyond his current position as SUG President, his ambitions are increasingly focused on personal growth and long-term impact. He wants to move from being known primarily for student politics to becoming a person whose competence, knowledge, discipline, and character create opportunities wherever he finds himself. His journey so far has taken him from a young class monitor in Abaomege to a university-wide student leader representing thousands of students. The next chapter, however, promises to be bigger than student government. Kelvin sees himself as a young man from Ebonyi who started with ambition, found himself in leadership, discovered his capacity to influence people, and is now being challenged by life to turn that influence into something much bigger than student politics. His greatest assignment, as he puts it, is not simply to become more popular. It is to become more knowledgeable, more disciplined, more competent, and more valuable. And ultimately, he wants to build a legacy in which his impact remains long after the titles have been left behind.

Sdashapi: The Best CBT API for JAMB, WAEC, NECO, Post-UTME and Nigerian Exam Platforms Building an educational app, CBT platform, examination website, quiz application, learning management system or AI-powered study platform in Nigeria requires one important thing: reliable examination content. You can build a beautiful interface, powerful backend and impressive features, but your platform still needs quality questions, options, answers and solutions. This is where Sdashapi comes in. Sdashapi is a developer-focused examination API designed to provide structured Nigerian past questions, answers and solutions for applications and educational platforms. It supports major examination categories including JAMB/UTME, WAEC/WASSCE, NECO and Post-UTME, with questions that can be filtered by subject, examination type and year. For developers searching for a JAMB API, WAEC API, NECO API, CBT API, exam questions API or past questions API, Sdashapi provides an all-in-one solution for building modern examination and learning applications. The Best CBT API for JAMB, WAEC, NECO and More A good CBT API should do more than return random questions. Developers need structured data that can easily be integrated into websites, mobile applications and other software. They need questions that can be organised by examination, subject and year, together with answers and solutions. Sdashapi is designed around these requirements. Its API provides structured JSON responses containing examination information such as questions, options, correct answers, solutions, examination type and year. This allows developers to build: * CBT practice applications * Mock examination platforms * Revision applications * Quiz platforms * AI-powered study tools * Educational websites * Mobile learning applications * Online examination systems Instead of manually creating and maintaining a large examination database, developers can integrate Sdashapi and focus on building the actual product. Best JAMB API for Developers JAMB is one of the biggest examination use cases for Nigerian educational applications. Developers building JAMB preparation platforms need questions that can be organised by subject and examination year. Sdashapi provides JAMB/UTME questions through its API and supports filtering by parameters such as subject, examination type and year. This makes Sdashapi suitable for building JAMB CBT practice apps, mock examinations, revision platforms, quizzes and AI-powered JAMB learning tools. A developer can allow students to select a subject, choose an examination year and start practising questions without manually creating an entire question database. For developers searching for the best JAMB API, Sdashapi provides a developer-focused foundation for building JAMB applications. Best WAEC API for Developers WAEC is another major examination category for Nigerian students. A reliable WAEC API allows developers to integrate WAEC questions into their own applications and create customised learning experiences. With Sdashapi, developers can build WAEC CBT applications, revision platforms, quiz websites and mobile learning applications while controlling the interface and application logic themselves. Students can practise subjects such as Mathematics, English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Government and other available subjects. The developer controls the experience. Sdashapi provides the examination data. Best NECO API for Developers Developers building examination applications often want to support multiple examinations rather than limiting their platform to one. Sdashapi supports NECO alongside JAMB, WAEC and Post-UTME, allowing developers to create applications capable of serving different categories of students. A NECO application can use Sdashapi for subject practice, examination-year practice, mock examinations, quizzes, revision and other learning features. This makes Sdashapi a practical choice for developers searching for a NECO API for their website, mobile application or CBT platform. JAMB, WAEC, NECO and Post-UTME API in One Platform One of the biggest advantages of Sdashapi is its multi-examination approach. A developer may start by building a JAMB application and later decide to add WAEC, NECO or Post-UTME. With Sdashapi, these examination categories can be accessed through the same general API architecture. For example, an application could allow a student to select: JAMB → Biology → 2022 or: WAEC → Mathematics → 2024 or: NECO → Chemistry → 2023 The application can then request the appropriate questions from Sdashapi and display them in its own CBT interface. This makes Sdashapi suitable for developers who want to build scalable Nigerian EdTech products. Best Past Questions API for Nigerian Educational Apps Past questions are at the centre of many examination applications. The challenge is making that content usable by software. Sdashapi provides examination questions in structured formats that developers can process programmatically. This allows applications to organise questions by: * Examination * Subject * Year * Question * Options * Correct answer * Solution This makes Sdashapi useful for developers searching for a JAMB past questions API, WAEC past questions API, NECO past questions API or general Nigerian past questions API. Instead of displaying static documents, developers can create dynamic examination experiences around the data. Sdashapi API Documentation and Developer Integration A good API should be easy for developers to understand and integrate. Sdashapi uses a REST architecture and returns JSON responses. Authentication is handled using an access token, while query parameters allow developers to control the questions they retrieve. Developers can use the API from technologies capable of making HTTP requests, including JavaScript, PHP, Node.js, Python, React Native, Flutter and many other frameworks and programming languages. This means Sdashapi is not tied to one particular development stack. Whether you are building a website, Android application, iOS application, React Native application or backend service, you can build your product around the API. How to Build a CBT App With Sdashapi A complete CBT platform may include: 1. User accounts 2. Subject selection 3. Examination selection 4. Question navigation 5. Timers 6. Answer selection 7. Automatic marking 8. Results 9. Performance tracking 10. Explanations Sdashapi can provide the examination-data layer. The application retrieves questions, displays them to the student, records their answers and uses the available answer information to calculate results. Solutions can also be displayed after a practice session to help students understand the questions they got wrong. This allows developers to concentrate on their product rather than spending months manually entering and organising examination questions. JAMB CBT API A JAMB CBT API can power much more than a basic question-and-answer page. Developers can combine Sdashapi’s structured JAMB questions with: * Timed examinations * Randomised questions * Subject practice * Mock UTME * Performance reports * Revision systems * AI study features * Question explanations The developer controls the user experience while Sdashapi provides the examination content. WAEC CBT API A WAEC CBT API can be used to build complete WAEC preparation platforms. Students could select their subject and examination year, complete a practice session and receive their results. The same API structure can support websites and mobile applications, giving developers the flexibility to create their own unique WAEC learning experiences. NECO CBT API A NECO CBT API provides a similar opportunity for developers building NECO practice and revision applications. With Sdashapi, developers can retrieve structured NECO examination content and build their own interface around it. This can be combined with user accounts, progress tracking, leaderboards, subscriptions, analytics and AI-powered learning features. Build an Exam Platform With Sdashapi An exam questions API turns examination content into data that software can use. With Sdashapi, developers can build platforms where questions are filtered, randomised, grouped by subject or year and used in mock examinations, quizzes and revision systems. This makes Sdashapi suitable for: * Startups * Independent developers * Schools * EdTech companies * Educational websites * Learning management systems * CBT platform owners The API provides the building blocks. Developers decide what they want to create. Building an educational application is no longer just about creating a beautiful interface. Today’s users expect accurate questions, detailed explanations, regular updates, lightning-fast performance, reliable APIs, and an experience that feels seamless from the moment they open an app. For developers, startups, schools, CBT platforms, educational companies, and innovators, the challenge has always been the same. Where do you find a reliable source of educational content that is easy to integrate, continuously updated, developer-friendly, and capable of powering applications used by thousands or even millions of students? This is exactly why SdashAPI was created. SdashAPI is a modern REST API designed specifically for educational technology. It provides developers with access to a comprehensive and growing database of JAMB, WAEC, NECO, and Post UTME examination questions, making it easier than ever to build educational platforms without spending years creating and managing question banks from scratch. Rather than worrying about collecting thousands of examination questions, formatting data, organizing subjects, maintaining updates, or building a backend system capable of serving educational content efficiently, developers can focus on what matters most—building outstanding learning experiences. From student preparation apps and CBT practice platforms to AI-powered learning assistants, online tutoring systems, school portals, and educational websites, SdashAPI provides the foundation that allows developers to build confidently. Every endpoint has been designed with simplicity in mind. Every response is structured for easy implementation. Every update is carefully monitored to ensure consistency and quality. Whether you are creating your very first educational application or managing a platform with thousands of active users, SdashAPI is built to help you move faster while maintaining reliability and performance. ⸻ Why SdashAPI Was Created Educational technology has grown rapidly over the years, yet many developers continue to face the same challenges whenever they begin building an exam preparation platform. The first obstacle is finding quality educational content. Gathering thousands of examination questions manually is an enormous task. Questions often exist in different formats, some contain errors, others are incomplete, and many require extensive editing before they can be presented to students. Even after building a question bank, another challenge appears. Maintaining that database. Educational content evolves. Questions require corrections. Explanations become more detailed. Subjects expand. New improvements are constantly needed. Managing all of this internally demands significant time, resources, and continuous attention. SdashAPI was built to remove these obstacles. Instead of every developer rebuilding the same infrastructure repeatedly, SdashAPI provides a ready-to-use educational API that delivers structured data through simple REST endpoints. Developers can spend less time managing educational content and more time creating innovative products that help students succeed. This philosophy remains at the heart of SdashAPI. Make educational development simpler. Make integration easier. Make educational technology more accessible. ⸻ Built for Today’s Generation of Developers Software development has changed dramatically. Modern developers expect APIs that are clean, predictable, well-documented, secure, and easy to integrate. Nobody wants to spend days trying to understand inconsistent responses or undocumented endpoints. Nobody wants unnecessary complexity. SdashAPI embraces modern API design principles from the ground up. Every endpoint is structured to reduce development time. Responses are organized clearly. Data is returned consistently. Integration follows familiar REST conventions, allowing developers to start building with confidence. Whether you’re working with: * React Native * Flutter * Laravel * Node.js * Express * Next.js * Nuxt * Vue * React * Angular * Django * FastAPI * Spring Boot * ASP.NET * Go * PHP * Python * Java * Kotlin * Swift or virtually any programming language capable of making HTTP requests, integrating SdashAPI is straightforward. Because the API is language-agnostic, developers are free to build using the technologies they already know and love. This flexibility allows teams of every size—from solo developers to large organizations—to integrate educational content into their applications without changing their existing technology stack. ⸻ A Developer Experience That Prioritizes Simplicity Great APIs are not measured only by the amount of data they provide. They are measured by how enjoyable they are to work with. SdashAPI is designed to make development feel smooth from the very first request. Instead of spending hours figuring out complex authentication systems or confusing response structures, developers can begin integrating educational content almost immediately. Clear endpoints. Predictable responses. Logical organization. Consistent data structures. These small details save developers countless hours throughout the development process. When an API is intuitive, teams move faster. Projects launch sooner. Maintenance becomes easier. Future updates become simpler. This commitment to developer experience is one of the reasons why SdashAPI continues to evolve with developers in mind. Every improvement is made with a single question in mind: “How can we make building educational applications even easier?” ⸻ The SdashAPI Question Bank At the heart of SdashAPI lies one of its most valuable assets. Its growing educational question bank. Instead of providing only a handful of examination questions, SdashAPI offers access to an extensive collection covering multiple examination bodies across Nigeria. The database is carefully organized by examination type, subject, year, and other relevant structures to help developers retrieve exactly the information their applications need. This organized approach enables developers to create experiences such as: * CBT examination platforms * Practice applications * Revision applications * Quiz games * AI educational assistants * School portals * Student learning platforms * Mock examination systems * Mobile learning applications * Online examination preparation websites without having to manually organize thousands of records themselves. The result is a development experience that is faster, cleaner, and significantly more scalable. ⸻ JAMB API Designed for Serious CBT Applications Preparing for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination requires students to practice consistently using realistic examination materials. Developers building JAMB preparation platforms therefore need an API capable of delivering structured educational content that can power engaging learning experiences. SdashAPI’s JAMB API is built with this goal in mind. It enables developers to integrate JAMB questions into mobile applications, web applications, desktop software, AI tutors, and computer-based testing platforms with ease. Instead of manually entering thousands of questions into a database, developers can retrieve educational content through a simple API request. This dramatically reduces development time while improving maintainability. The structured responses make it easy to display questions, answer options, correct answers, explanations, and related educational information within any application. Whether users are practicing individual subjects, preparing through timed CBT simulations, reviewing previous attempts, or studying topic by topic, the JAMB API provides the foundation needed to build a comprehensive learning experience. For educational startups, schools, tutorial centres, and independent developers, this means less time worrying about data management and more time creating features that genuinely help students learn. ⸻ WAEC API for Comprehensive Learning Platforms WAEC remains one of the most important examinations for secondary school students, making reliable educational content essential for any learning platform targeting this audience. SdashAPI simplifies this process through its WAEC API. Developers gain access to structured examination content that can be integrated into educational applications with minimal effort. This allows platforms to deliver interactive revision experiences, practice tests, mock examinations, quizzes, progress tracking, and personalized learning journeys. Because the API follows consistent structures, developers can build reusable components that work across different subjects, reducing development complexity while improving maintainability. The result is an application that feels polished, reliable, and capable of supporting students throughout their examination preparation journey. For developers, this means building faster. For students, it means learning smarter. For educational organizations, it means delivering greater value through technology. NECO API That Makes Educational Development Simpler Every year, millions of students prepare for the National Examinations Council (NECO) examinations. For educational platforms, supporting these students means providing reliable practice materials in a structured and accessible format. Instead of manually sourcing, formatting, and maintaining thousands of NECO questions, developers can rely on the NECO API provided by SdashAPI to streamline the entire process. The API is designed to deliver educational content in a format that is easy to consume, making it suitable for both simple revision apps and advanced learning platforms. Whether your application allows students to practice by subject, study by year, attempt mock examinations, or review previous sessions, the NECO API provides the flexibility required to create an engaging learning experience. Developers can focus on designing intuitive interfaces, implementing analytics, adding gamification, building AI-powered study tools, and improving student engagement while SdashAPI handles the educational data layer. This significantly reduces development time while helping teams build applications that are easier to maintain as they grow. ⸻ Post UTME API for Universities and Admission Platforms Every institution has its own admission process, and Post UTME preparation has become an important part of the journey into higher education. Students often search for platforms that allow them to practice with relevant questions before sitting for their screening examinations. SdashAPI makes it easier for developers to build these platforms. Its Post UTME API provides structured educational data that can be integrated into websites, mobile applications, CBT systems, and digital learning environments. Developers no longer need to spend months collecting and organizing examination materials manually. Instead, they can connect to the API and begin building features that matter. This opens the door to creating rich educational experiences such as: * Timed mock examinations * Practice by institution * Personalized revision plans * Performance analytics * Progress tracking * Leaderboards * AI-powered recommendations * Study reminders * Smart revision schedules With a reliable educational backend already in place, developers can dedicate their energy to innovation instead of data management. ⸻ A Growing Question Bank Designed for Scale Educational technology never stands still. Students continue learning. Teachers continue teaching. Developers continue building. That is why SdashAPI is built around a continuously growing question bank. Rather than remaining static, the platform is designed to evolve over time. As educational content expands, developers benefit from an API that grows alongside their applications. This means applications built today are positioned to continue delivering value tomorrow without requiring developers to rebuild their educational infrastructure from scratch. A growing question bank also means more flexibility for developers who wish to introduce new features, expand into additional examination categories, or enhance learning experiences for their users. Scalability has been considered from the beginning, allowing SdashAPI to support projects ranging from personal educational applications to enterprise-level learning platforms. ⸻ Daily Monitoring and Continuous Updates One of the most important responsibilities of any educational platform is maintaining the quality of its content. Educational data should never be treated as something that is uploaded once and forgotten. Instead, it should be reviewed, monitored, refined, and improved over time. SdashAPI follows this philosophy by continuously monitoring its educational database. Questions are reviewed to improve consistency. Content is refined where necessary. Data structures are maintained to ensure reliability. The objective is simple. Provide developers with educational content they can confidently build upon. Continuous improvements also help reduce the burden placed on developers. Instead of manually correcting thousands of records across multiple applications, improvements made within SdashAPI become available through the API itself, helping development teams maintain a consistent educational experience. This ongoing commitment reflects the platform’s dedication to quality rather than simply quantity. Built Around Real Developer Workflows Every developer understands that writing code is only one part of building software. Projects involve planning, testing, debugging, deployment, maintenance, collaboration, and continuous improvement. SdashAPI has been designed to fit naturally into these workflows. Whether a developer is working independently on a passion project or collaborating with an engineering team building a large educational platform, the API is structured to minimize friction. Clear endpoints make implementation straightforward. Predictable responses simplify testing. Logical data organization reduces unnecessary processing. Developers spend less time writing workarounds and more time building meaningful features. This streamlined experience allows teams to prototype ideas quickly, launch products sooner, and iterate with confidence. ⸻ Easy Integration That Saves Development Time Time is one of the most valuable resources in software development. Every unnecessary hour spent restructuring data, fixing inconsistent responses, or managing educational content delays product launches. SdashAPI is designed to reduce that overhead. Integration follows familiar REST principles, making it approachable for developers regardless of their preferred programming language or framework. Whether building a mobile application, a responsive website, a desktop application, or an AI-powered learning assistant, developers can integrate educational content using standard HTTP requests. Because responses are designed with consistency in mind, applications become easier to maintain over time. Adding new features requires less effort. Expanding to additional subjects becomes simpler. Scaling applications becomes more manageable. This simplicity helps developers move from concept to production much faster. ⸻ Built for Performance Educational applications often experience periods of increased activity. Students preparing for examinations may access practice questions throughout the day, particularly during revision periods. Performance becomes essential. A responsive API contributes to a smoother user experience by helping applications retrieve educational content efficiently. SdashAPI is engineered with performance as a key consideration, allowing developers to build responsive educational experiences that feel smooth and reliable for end users. When users can move between questions without unnecessary delays, complete mock examinations without interruptions, and continue studying comfortably, the overall learning experience improves significantly. For developers, reliable performance translates into greater confidence when building products intended for real-world usage. ⸻ Documentation That Developers Can Understand Excellent documentation is one of the defining characteristics of a great developer platform. Even the most powerful API becomes difficult to adopt if developers struggle to understand how it works. SdashAPI places strong emphasis on providing documentation that is clear, practical, and easy to follow. Developers should be able to understand available endpoints, authentication methods, request structures, response formats, and implementation examples without unnecessary complexity. Good documentation shortens the learning curve. It reduces onboarding time. It minimizes integration errors. Most importantly, it allows developers to begin building with confidence from day one. This commitment to clarity reflects the broader philosophy behind SdashAPI: powerful technology should also be approachable. ⸻ Supporting Innovation Across Educational Technology The future of education is being shaped by developers who continue to create new ways for students to learn. Some are building AI tutors. Others are developing adaptive learning platforms. Many are creating CBT systems, revision apps, educational games, school portals, digital classrooms, and analytics platforms. SdashAPI is built to support this innovation. Rather than limiting developers to a single type of application, the API is flexible enough to serve as the educational foundation for a wide variety of products. As educational technology continues to evolve, SdashAPI aims to remain a reliable partner for developers who believe technology can make learning more accessible, engaging, and effective. Every integration represents another opportunity to help students prepare more confidently for important examinations and achieve their academic goals. |

I'm a software developer building educational applications for Nigerian students. My goal was to create a CBT app where students could practice for JAMB, WAEC, NECO, Post-UTME, and university exams. At first, I thought building the app would be the hardest part. I was wrong. The biggest challenge was getting quality educational content. The Problem I spent weeks looking for a reliable JAMB API, WAEC API, and NECO API, but most of what I found had one or more of these problems: Very limited question banks. Poor or outdated documentation. Slow APIs. Missing subjects. No regular updates. No support when something broke. Required me to build my own database anyway. I even considered creating my own question bank from scratch, but after calculating the amount of work involved, I realized it would take months. I didn't want to spend all my time collecting and updating questions. I wanted to focus on building a great app. Discovering SdashAPI While searching for an education API, I found SdashAPI. What caught my attention was that it wasn't just another API with a few sample questions. It was built specifically for developers creating educational platforms. The documentation was easy to understand, the endpoints were well organized, and I could quickly test everything before integrating it into my application. Within a short time, I was already fetching questions directly into my app. Integration Experience Integration was much easier than I expected. Using the REST API, I was able to: Fetch JAMB questions. Load WAEC questions. Retrieve NECO questions. Access Post-UTME past questions. Filter questions by subject and exam. Display answers inside my CBT application. The API responses were structured, making it simple to connect them to my frontend. Instead of writing thousands of records into my own database, my app could request fresh content whenever it needed it. The Difference It Made Using SdashAPI changed the way I built my project. Instead of worrying about educational content, I could spend my time improving the parts that actually mattered: Better user experience. Faster app performance. Leaderboards. Practice modes. Analytics. Student progress tracking. Mock examinations. The development process became much faster because I wasn't trying to solve two different problems at once. What I Like Most What impressed me most was that the platform keeps improving. The question bank continues to grow, and new content is added regularly. Whenever I needed help during integration, I received support quickly. That gave me confidence that I wasn't building on an abandoned platform. Would I Recommend It? Yes. If you're planning to build: A JAMB CBT App A WAEC Practice App A NECO CBT Platform A Post-UTME App A University Past Questions App An Educational Website An E-learning Platform Or any product that needs a reliable Education API then SdashAPI is worth considering. It saved me months of work and allowed me to focus on building a better product instead of managing educational data. Final Thoughts As developers, our job is to build great software—not spend months collecting and maintaining exam questions. SdashAPI gave me a reliable foundation to build on, and it helped me launch my educational platform much faster than I could have on my own. If you're looking for a dependable JAMB API, WAEC API, NECO API, Post-UTME API, or a complete Education REST API for your next project, SdashAPI is a solid choice. It lets you spend more time building features your users will love and less time worrying about content management. |
The Nigerian EdTech ecosystem is growing faster than ever. Building an EdTech app for Nigerian students is a great idea, but one of the biggest problems developers face is getting clean and reliable past questions. If you want to build a CBT app, quiz platform, AI tutor, exam practice website, Telegram bot, or mobile learning app, you need quality exam data. Not just random questions copied from old websites, but properly structured questions with options, answers, exam years, subjects, and solutions. This is where SdashAPI comes in. SdashAPI is a Nigerian Past Questions API that allows developers to access JAMB, WAEC, NECO, GCE, Post-UTME, GST, GNS, and university exam questions through a simple REST API. Instead of spending months scraping websites, typing questions manually, or cleaning badly formatted PDFs, developers can connect to SdashAPI and start building faster. Why Developers Need a Nigerian Past Questions API Many Nigerian students prepare for exams like JAMB, WAEC, NECO, and Post-UTME every year. These students need modern platforms where they can practice questions, check answers, study solutions, and improve before their exams. But for developers, getting the questions is usually the hardest part. Most available past questions online are scattered across different websites. Some are outdated, some have wrong answers, some are missing options, and many do not come with proper explanations. This makes it difficult to build a serious educational app. With a Nigerian Past Questions API like SdashAPI, developers do not need to worry about collecting and arranging questions from scratch. The API gives access to structured exam data that can be used directly inside an app or website. What Is SdashAPI? SdashAPI is a RESTful API built for developers who want to create educational tools for Nigerian students. It provides access to over 100,000 past questions, including questions from major Nigerian exams such as: JAMB / UTME WAEC / WASSCE NECO GCE Post-UTME GST and GNS University course exams The API was created from the experience of building StudentsDash, an educational platform for Nigerian students. While building StudentsDash, we needed a clean and reliable past questions database, but most available options were not developer-friendly enough. So we built our own system. Now, SdashAPI makes that database available to other developers who want to build useful EdTech products. What You Can Build with SdashAPI SdashAPI can be used to power different types of educational platforms. You can use it to build: JAMB CBT practice apps WAEC past questions websites NECO exam preparation apps Post-UTME practice platforms AI tutors for Nigerian students Telegram quiz bots WhatsApp study assistants Offline-first learning apps University GST practice apps School admission preparation platforms Whether you are building a small quiz app or a full EdTech platform, SdashAPI gives you the data foundation you need. What Makes SdashAPI Useful? SdashAPI is not just a random collection of questions. It is built to make development easier. The API provides clean and predictable JSON data, so developers can easily display questions in their apps without spending extra time fixing formatting issues. A normal question response can include: Question text Options Correct answer Worked solution Exam type Exam year Subject Section or passage Image, where needed This makes it easier to build CBT screens, answer review pages, result pages, study modes, and AI-powered explanations. Support for JAMB, WAEC and NECO Questions The main goal of SdashAPI is to help developers access Nigerian exam questions easily. For JAMB, developers can fetch UTME questions based on subjects like English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Government, Literature, Economics, and more. For WAEC and NECO, developers can use the API to create exam practice tools for students preparing for senior secondary school examinations. This is useful for apps that want to help students revise past questions, practice by subject, prepare for mock exams, or study with solutions. Support for Post-UTME and University Questions Apart from JAMB, WAEC, and NECO, SdashAPI also supports Post-UTME and university-level exam questions. This is important because many Nigerian students do not stop at JAMB. After JAMB, they still need to prepare for Post-UTME, admission screening, and university exams. SdashAPI can help developers build platforms for school-specific preparation, GST practice, GNS practice, and other academic materials. Easy REST API Integration SdashAPI is built as a REST API, which means it can work with different programming languages and frameworks. You can use it with: JavaScript React Next.js React Native Flutter PHP Laravel Python Node.js WordPress And more Once you have your API access token, you can make a request and get question data in JSON format. Example: const response = await fetch( 'https://sdashapi.com/api/v1/q?subject=biology&type=utme', { headers: { 'AccessToken': 'your_token_here' } } ); const data = await response.json(); console.log(data); Example response: { "status": 200, "data": { "id": 1042, "question": "Which organelle is responsible for ATP production?", "section": null, "option": { "a": "Nucleus", "b": "Mitochondria", "c": "Ribosome", "d": "Golgi apparatus" }, "answer": "b", "solution": "The mitochondria is responsible for producing ATP through cellular respiration.", "image": null, "examtype": "UTME", "examyear": "2021" } } This makes it simple to display questions, options, answers, and explanations inside your own app. Why Use SdashAPI Instead of Scraping Websites? Scraping websites may look like a quick option, but it usually creates more problems later. Scraped data is often messy. You may find missing answers, broken formatting, duplicate questions, wrong options, or incomplete exam years. You also have to keep cleaning and maintaining the data yourself. With SdashAPI, you save time and focus on building the actual product. The API handles the data structure, while you focus on the app design, user experience, features, and growth. Who Should Use SdashAPI? SdashAPI is useful for: EdTech founders Mobile app developers Website developers Tutorial centres Schools AI developers Telegram bot developers WhatsApp bot developers CBT software builders If your product is for Nigerian students preparing for exams, SdashAPI can help you build faster. Get Started with SdashAPI If you are looking for a Nigerian Past Questions API to access JAMB, WAEC, NECO, Post-UTME, and university exam questions, SdashAPI is built for that purpose. You can get started by visiting: https://sdashapi.com You can also check the documentation and source code here: https://github.com/croniesng/Sdashapi SdashAPI gives developers the exam data they need to build better educational tools for Nigerian students. Instead of starting from scratch, you can connect to the API and focus on building the platform students actually need. Many students have been confused about the difference between GST 105 and EBSU GST 105. Studentsdash has noticed that a lot of students register the wrong one, especially during course registration or when they want to buy materials. So Studentsdash is explaining it clearly to help you avoid mistakes. First, Studentsdash wants all 100 Level students to know that the correct course to register is EBSU GST 105. If you are currently in Year 1, the course you should register is EBSU GST 105, not GST 105. Studentsdash advises students to always check the course code carefully during registration so they do not make errors that can affect their results. Secondly, Studentsdash explains that GST 105 without the “EBSU” is mostly for 400 Level students or students who had a carryover in that course from previous years. That means if you are buying materials or registering courses, Studentsdash advises you to confirm the correct code before proceeding so you do not mistakenly register the wrong GST. For 200 Level students, Studentsdash also wants to clarify something important. If you failed EBSU GST 105 in 100 Level, you are expected to register and write EBSU GST 105 again with the current 100 Level students. Studentsdash warns students not to mistakenly register GST 105 (carryover) because that particular one is meant for 400 Level students and those who originally took that version of the course. Finally, Studentsdash encourages students who are still confused about GST registration or any academic issue to send a message to Studentsdash. The Studentsdash team is always ready to guide students and show them the right steps so they don’t make mistakes that can affect their academic progress. |
FULL GIST AT: https://studentsdash.com/ebsu-postpones-2025-2026-first-semester-examinations-extends-registration-deadline/ The Management of Ebonyi State University (EBSU) has officially approved the postponement of the course registration deadline and the commencement of the 2025/2026 First Semester Examinations for all students. This decision followed a passionate appeal made by the SUG President during the handover ceremony of the SUG vehicle to the Executive on Thursday, 26th February 2026. The appeal requested that Management consider shifting the course registration deadline and examination date by seven (7) days to allow newly admitted students enough time to complete their online school fee payments and course registration. In response, the University Management immediately held a meeting with some Deans and, on compassionate grounds, approved the postponement of the commencement of examinations by two (2) weeks. Important Dates to Note: * **Course Registration/Payment Portal Closes:** Thursday, 12th March 2026 by 11:59pm * **Commencement of Examinations:** Monday, 16th March 2026 This gracious extension is to enable students tidy up their online fee payments and complete their course registration properly. Students are strongly advised to take advantage of this grace period, as Management has clearly stated that no further extension will be granted. All students are therefore encouraged to: * Confirm that their school fees are fully paid. * Complete and submit their course registration. * Print and secure all necessary documents ahead of examinations. In addition, students should not see this postponement as extra leisure time. It is a valuable opportunity to study thoroughly and prepare well for the upcoming examinations. Students are advised to make full use of the Studentsdash website and mobile app to access past questions, study materials, and relevant academic resources to boost their preparation. Proper planning and early preparation remain key to academic success. Please be guided accordingly. |
You just got ushered into the examination hall and you take your seat. It’s time for another paper, and you’re hoping that you remember all that you read moments before the exams. After all students have sat down, invigilators share the exam questions and you promptly get yours. As you look through the questions, you suddenly panic. The exam questions look like passages from a novel. You know what this means problem questions. You read through the questions but things only seem to get worse, you don’t know what to do. You don’t know how to answer the questions. You don’t know where to start. Problem questions can be quite problematic, if you don’t know what to do. Luckily, they are also the easiest questions to answer if you know your onions. The general technique that you can use to deal with any problem question is the simple formula: IRAC. If you understand how to use IRAC, dealing with problem questions will seem less problematic. By the time you’re done with this post, you should be able to put any problem question in its place. Let’s be honest first One thing almost every EBSU student fears the most is failing a course. The fear alone can disturb your sleep, affect your confidence, and even make you overthink school. But here’s the truth nobody tells you early enough: Failing a course is not the end of the world. It’s not good, yes. But it’s not bad enough to define your future either. So if you mistakenly failed any course, calm down. Let’s talk about it properly and explain how things work in EBSU the real way, the way Studentsdash explains it to students every day. What Does It Mean to Fail a Course in EBSU? In EBSU, when you fail a course, we usually call it carry over (some people call it reference). What it simply means is that you will carry that course and rewrite it in your next level. For example 👇🏽 • If you fail a course in 100L first semester, you’ll write it in 200L first semester • If you fail a course in 100L second semester, you’ll write it in 200L second semester Simple, right? Shey you grab? 😄 This is one of those things Studentsdash keeps reminding students about, especially freshers, so nobody panics unnecessarily. What If You Failed More Than One Course? Now this is where many students get confused. Every semester, there is a limit to how many courses you can register. So if you failed maybe 3, 4, or even 5 courses, adding them to your next level courses can become a problem. This is where Studentsdash usually steps in to explain things clearly 👇🏽 If you fail up to 3 courses, those courses may automatically appear during course registration, and most times you won’t be able to uncheck them. So what do you do? You will have to drop some courses from your current level so that you can register the failed ones first. What If You Failed Many Courses (Like 5 Courses)? Let Studentsdash explain again properly 👇🏽 If you failed 5 courses in 100L, and you move to 200L, but there is no space to combine: • your 5 failed courses plus • all your normal 200L courses Then you’ll have to drop some 200L courses. The dropped 200L courses will now be written in 300L, and it continues like that. That’s why Studentsdash always advises students: 👉🏽 Avoid failing multiple courses if you can. Not because your life is over, but because it slows down your academic journey. So What Should You Do If You Have Carry Overs? If you’re a new student or an old student already dealing with carry overs, don’t worry too much. Just: • Fix the courses properly • Register them correctly • Write the exams and quizzes • Clear them and move on And if you’re confused at any point course registration, carry over issues, or school-related questions you already know who to ask 😉 Studentsdash is always available as your school guardian, guiding you through daily school questions and academic challenges.
