BabatundeGPD: Hello house, my remark came back with no improvement, I was advice to take ielts and get 8 overall. I don't think ielts is fair is marking and may be too strict. So mayb celpip, but am on low budget and I don't believe in write another English exam, because their is no guarantee to max all, and wat if the celpip is low to the 7.5 ielts then money wasted. So considering French, I did a little French in sch as an international relations student since 2016, I have not read or study any French. But now I believe with YouTube videos I can build my self, and take a month physical class a d write the exam. I don't really know wat mark will qualify me for the French category but I believe the French grade will add to my crs plus ielts 7.5, and some pnp will favour French. My crs is currently at 35something will get d exact figure later. Pls I need advice and guidance Practice writing like a beginner. CRS of "35somthing", you will need to ace both English language test and French. |

ojexin: Good evening everyone…please I need your advice. I was exempted to write only management and strategic case study. Is it a good idea for me. If your intention is to use it for a second certificate to boost your CRS score, you will have to forfeit your exemption to take just the first introductory stage (certificate in business ba1-ba4). If not, you can go ahead with the exemption given to you. With management and strategic level given to you, that should take about a year and half or more to complete. For a guide or study material, let me know below 👇 |

Nemzy: Hello, I would like to get some guidance on possible ways to improve my CRS score. My professional experience of over 7 years has been in HR with masters. I was also able to get an average of 11 in CELPIP test but I can see my experience is not in any of the preferred NOC categories. I still entered the pool, CRS score of 454 what are my chances and what can I do boost my CRS score at this point ? Try to add a second language |

I've paid my WES fees. I've also paid unilag to assist send my transcript to WES using my reference number
I've also registered for IELTS, to do the exam in April/May
Please what else do I need to do as I practice for the IELTS?
Or what am I yet to do that i should do? Focus and pass your IELTS. While you study, you can keep up with your WES ECA for updates. Check also that your CRS score is enough to get you invitation in the category that you chose. (If not, explore other options to increase your chances). Good luck! |

Nozino: Hello everyone.
I’m looking at joining the pool and I’m not sure how to go about the job experience part. For context, I will be 29 next month, I will almost be round up my masters in the US in May. And I’m planning to take the CLEPIP exam during summer after my masters.
My main problem is the job experience part, I have always been a freelancer. I have over 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst and around 1.5years experience as a Data Scientist. My Masters is in a related field but my undergraduate degree is in Engineering.
Assuming I max out the English language points, do I have any realistic chance of getting ITA? I also have Canadian tourist visa if it matters. You can use your self employed work experience. |

chimzyblack: You will not be invited to apply Until you reach the 12Months work experience threshold. The good part is that it doesn't need to be 12months Continuous. If you already have 6months you need to find a way to get an additional 6months for you to qualify for a category based draw... In the case that the person chose 12 but has 6, they can still get invitation if their CRS score ranked higher in the pool with the information provided (right or wrong). The problem is that, you can't use the invitation because you're going to provide proof to back all information provided (except a ban or rejection is "hungrying" you). Don't create profile if you don't have all the required documents ready. You will deny a legitimate person the chance to receive invitation. |

simplyme17: Good evening and Happy new month. I am a military personnel looking forward to relocate my family to Canada via the Express Entry route. I am 36 while my wife is 35 year with HND in Dental technology with over 5 years experience. My first degree was in Computer science and currently on Masters in Cybersecurity. Please I want to confirm our chances via this route and who to be the main applicant. I’m not practicing what I studied in the army. That’s my main concern. Your advice is most respectfully needed. Thank you Your wife should be the primary applicant. You can add French to boost your chances. Not practicing what you studied is not an issue. |

Sheistimiii: Hello, please I need help with requesting a document transfer from my US WES evaluation to Canada. I’ve tried reaching out through the site by using the “Contact Us”, no response. I sent out a mail as well but the email addresses I saw online are not being monitored. Please what can I do? Create a new WES Canada account, select "ECA Application for IRCC," pay the upgrade/transfer fee, and request to convert your existing US evaluation to a Canadian evaluation. WES will then convert the US credentials into Canadian equivalencies and transfer to IRCC. |

JenC: Good morning
I have a 3 years paid work experience in healthcare care but have been freelancing for some years now. Does the 3 years count in EE? You need at least 6 months of continuous, full-time (or equivalent part-time) work experience in a single occupation listed under the healthcare category within the past 3 years. If your work experience is up to 6 months or more and within the last 3yrs (counting back from today), then you're good. Note that it has to be among the healthcare occupation listed under the category. |

What’s the best for me to leave this country. Apologies if I’m dragging anyone back Take a short certification exam to add a second certificate to your degree to boost your CRS score. Take the English language test and join the express entry pool. You can learn French to add a second language if you can. |

jonjazzy123: Hi All,
Please I am a 42 year single father with a son living in Lagos. What is the best strategy for me for Canadian immigration? Job, school or express entry (marraige?) Should i just take IELTS first adn enter provincial pool?
I've been following the theread for a while and just curious the best way to start things out. Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Thank you so much At 42, you'd need a lot for express entry. But first, Take IELTS, learn French and also take TEF. If you have just a single degree, take short certification exam to add a second certificate. Calculate your CRS score to know how you'd rank in the pool. Good luck! |
