I hope this mail meets you well.

I write this letter with a troubled heart and at the same time saddened with the delay in the approval of my visa application.

I received BVL since April 29, 2023 and also got update on my tracker on May 1, 2023.

It's been 2 years I saw my family and I really miss them just as they miss me as well.

It's even more painful that my son sees me as a stranger and hardly responds to me when trying to do video calls with him.

My wife also, is unhappy that my visa application is yet to be approved.This delay has caused her serious emotional distress. She's so lonely and feels my presence will light up our family mood with joy and happiness again.

Canada is a country that's known to encourage family life, togetherness and family reunification.

I implore you to kindly help look into my visa application and approve quickly so I can visit and reunite with my family.

Family of 4. Two has expired and two hasn't. So he is asking for $200

Since 2021,I just got response from IRCC. My application is still in progress, biometric validity has been approved. I'm yet to get PPR and a request for new passport came because the former expired. Few days after, he said the application can't be submitted without paying $100. I don't have login details he has it.

It’s possible work is going on but not reflecting on the tracker. Send mails and Webform until there’s an update. If you can also reach out to an MP, that will be good.

My mum's application just got approved and the rates are crazy at the moment.

Yes, but you will need to send them a new passport.

Relax and be positive. Some people got bvl and ppr same day, ircc doesn’t follow a fixed pattern. Since your eligibility is completed, you’ll get a decision soon.

Thank you for this detailed explanation how about some of us that are waiting on our new passport to be renewed personally my collection date is May 15th but Nigerian Immigration office in London has been slow of late

I don't believe Immigration Canada will stamp visas on expired passports or give visas beyond the validity of a passport.

Try to get a new passport if yours has expired.
