3 reasons why some people will not get apl even after the documentation, (1) fake age, (2) no primary school certificate, (3) ur statement of result is above 5 yrs and u did not get a proforma from ur school, if u fall into any of this, it might not be too late yet, rush to fcsc and see if u can sought it and get ur apl.

I disagree with you. All applicants called for documentation will surely get apl. Remember during interview we all submitted our original credentials. So if there was any problem with an applicant's result, age etc they would not even call him/her for documentation

They may post the list on their website next week. Currently the site is down.

I personally wasn't called, my senior too wasn't called, we went ourselves and discovered our names was on the list. Then, we file our application. Many others weren't called too, and believe me, their APL is intact. They should just be wise enough to go check for their APL at the commission. Thanks

I agree with you. What I meant was that if your name was not on the list for documentation no appointment for you. If your name is on the list then whether documented or not you will get your appointment. The emphasis is IS YOUR NAME AMONG THOSE FOR DOCUMENTATION?

In my present during documentation in FCSC that took place after the interview at PSIN someone was told that his name was not among those for documentation. He insisted that he went for the interview. He was told attending the interview is not a guarantee that he will get employed since he was not the only person in that cadre. Finally they told him to get ready for another application this year.
That was why I said if you were not called for documentation then forget about appointment letter. You may have your opinion or experience to share.

I wrote the test today. it was terrible. I checked naira land for tips before the exams and got none. well I'm not sad, every man for himself.

I wasn't helped here, I don't expect to be called. but for those who are about to write let me tell you one or two things. 60 questions in 30 minutes means you shouldn't even THINK OF TICKING questions you don't understand well.. the success rate is dependent on PERCENTAGE NOT NUMBER OF QUESTIONS ANSWERED. so JUST SKIP THE QUESTIONS YOU ARE UNSURE OF AND CONTINUE. Its a fact. I was in the commission and had one on one chat with the recruitment director and he was so friendly to respond to my numerous questions.

Ok so this is what I was able to gather.

BORNO, Adamawa have sent texts to some. However, nobody was there today. They said anyone who wants to confirm should visit the office for more info.

Sokoto, Kebbi...there is a new commissioner but no texts have been sent yet.

Anambra, Ebonyi and I think Enugu was what was on the door. Can't remember...texts have been sent and I also saw a quite a number of people in their office today.

They all said texts are still being sent out and some people may be on the list yet not receive texts for various reasons. So you guys should check with your commissioners.


I was told in ALL offices that all those invited for documentation are those who have been selected for appointment. Congratulations were in order in all the halls where applicants were.

In CrossRiver/AkwaIbom, we filled out a 4 page application form for appointment, attached copies of CV, credentials etc then we each sat with the commissioner one by one in his office. After which he ticked each successful file and his assistant took it for processing. He (the commissioner) told me the next process is to come and pick up our appointment letters.

Sokoto kebbi zamfara has no commissioner as at now since the demise of Buwai. Unless if the commission take a drastic action, no text to be expected for now

The Nigerian government has redeployed some Permanent Secretaries in the Federal Civil Service.

His Excellency the Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbanjo approved the redeployment of the under listed Permanent Secretaries.

Engr. Abubakar G. Magaji has been deployed from the Federal Ministry Works & Housing to serve under the Ministry of Interior.

Mohammad Bukar who until now serves in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, has been moved to the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing.

Also, Dr Roy Ugo who was the Chief Administrative Officer, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, has been deployed to the General Services Office (GSO), in the same office.

All affected persons are to serve in the same capacity as their immediate past offices.

In a circular conveying the redeployment, the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs Winifred Oyo- Ita, directed that the handing and taking over processes should be completed on or before Friday 30th June 2017.
