I was in your position before. I make handmde soap and finding the quipment is quite frustrating in Nigeria. But you can use baking paper instead of freezer paper to line your mould which you can find in baking stores or use trash bags. They serve as wonderful mould liners aswell. For the moulds, what I did was order silicon ones from www.aliexpress.com with free delivery to Nigeria. though the nipost delivery man always ask for a token of 500 Naira per delivery. While for wooden moulds you can browse designs and shapes online and take it to the nearest carpenter near you and he will build it for you.

-Sodium hydroxide is same as caustic soda

- potassium hydroxide is same as soda ash.

Here I used the terms commonly used in our local market(s). So, why go to use those terms in the local market oga?

Funny strongbest. Though I agree with you. In the open market most of the chemical dealers regard to causatic postash (KOH) as soda ash (Na2CO3). They are not the same thing, caustic potash is an alkaline while soda ash is a sodium salt despite they might have similar chemical behaviour they serve different functions in product making. Also their physical properties are quite different, caustic potash (KOH) is a translucent pellets or crystals as shown in image 1 & 2 while soda ash (Na2CO3) is a white powder as shown in image 3 & 4.
Despite the confusion in the open market, always know what you are buying not what the sellers are telling you it is.

Anyway please do your research and correct me if am wrong, after all we are all here to learn.
