I didn't get accommodation on campus. I was placed on an awaiting list, which I will still get in a few months' time. When I arrived in Magdeburg, I stayed with someone for 2 months(we were both sharing the bills) and I later got an apartment in the 3rd month. You might be lucky to get an apartment with the Studentenwerk early but also look for an alternative like staying with someone temporarily. If I may ask, have you applied for an apartment with Studentenwerk.

Not yet, been trying to , but can’t yet find my way around it. The problem is that I don’t have any friend over there, the thought of where I will stay have been very worrisome . Thanks for all your advice

Getting accommodation on arrival on campus if you are not a DAAD/Erasmus/OtherScholarship student is not really guaranteed.
However,
1. Apply for one, on the school studentwerk website (you might just be lucky)
2. Join the student groups on facebook and post your request or response to posted accommodation offers
3. Try to see if you can get preferably a Nigerian to welcome you (to host you for your first few weeks - for free or paid).

Congrats.!You are one of the lucky ones. The programme is almost restricted. We are just 22 that got admitted for the Winter 2019/2020.

I would advise you to start searching for accomodation.

The same course, but they haven’t sent me the admissions and enrollment letter. They said they will do that in the next two weeks.

You are right, I received good news from them, just waiting on my official scan copy of the admission letter
