You are just ignorance of one small thing,what if i tell that,the buyer lied to you?There is one thing about paypal which is chargedback,it always and will always favour buyer no matter what.I am not defending NIPOST but the truth has to be told.The recieved that phone and at the same time file a chargeback.He just robbed you off,next time any buyer that can not send his/her paypal payment as friend and family or gift,kindly refund them because it will later bounce back on you.

Please enlighten me.

Do u imply that there are funds sending packages on Paypal and one of them allows charge back to be done?

Can u also throw more light on this chargeback thing?

Greetings guys...

I think this is the fastest growing thread in Nairaland. A friend recommended this thread to me exactly this time yesterday and, in less than 24hours, this thread has grown over 10pages!

So much information, knowledge, exposure and guys experienced in exchanged/online endeavours. I have really learnt a lot!

I wana venture into importation, but the naira/dollar exchange rate my shipping agent uses is killing! After selling, i no sure sey i go see shishi, or i may be forced to sell too high which may not be too good, considering turnovers.

Then it occurred to me that i can actually opt for paypal payments with my shipper, and luckily for me, they accept it.

So, i think i will be sourcing for my paypal funds from here. However, i am kinda scared coz i heard paypal locks accounts at the slightest provocation.

Guys, what do u suggest? Is there anything i should bear in mind? Please, i earnest crave your advise and recommendations

This move will be met with very strong opposition. If it finally comes through, the first effect it will have is High rate of theft occurrences.

Stealing will be done with impunity and will be blamed on government. So the government has to also put lots of security and anti-theft measures on ground before fully launching this move.

Individuals too should be highly security conscious as well.

But by and by, people will be adapt somehow somehow and things will return back to "normal"
