So, why should a poor country waste money like we do then turn around and claim we are poor and wants to tax the hell out of my life? You make comments like we are all id$ots here. Like we dont know how Nigeria is managed. They will buy street light and claim they bought it for 500million. That is what eats up the money. Imagine such rascadity multiplied by 20 thounsand instances. That is exactly how they finish the money then tell me to pay more tax.

Look at DRC, a very resource rich country but has some of the poorest people in the world just like Nigeria, among the countries wih least electricity acess for her citizens.

Nigeria's problem is not lack of money, it is looting, wastage and extravagant lifestyle that never ever prioritize investment into stuff that can make Nigeria great, along with useless system of govt. So, why should I pay for such uselessness caused by politicians while they enjoy? No, I am not patriotic, I will never be.
There is nothing special about politicians. As leaders, they should suffer what we are suffering. That is how leadership supposed to be.
A poor country will spend billions on conference center but wont spend such on health sector, tell me what is that supposed to mean?
A poor country will spend less on health sector but spend more on feeding governor, president, minister, etc. That is rubbish.
A poor country will spend less on education but spend more on budget for national assembly, who are u fo$ling?
A poor country will on security for the governor more than the entire state.
You are practically saying the masses give up their resources, work their ass out to pay various tax so that Nigerian politicians can live the life of their dreams, no let me swear for u, bros. Until Nigeria makes corruption and wastage capital offence, and reduce the expenses on the lifestyle and packages for politicians while investing in health, and education, I will never ever support the useless country. The country was designed for the masses to work for the politicians and that cant be me.
It is like u dont see the deliberate tactics of politicians to keep this country down. Why waste money on few humans when the entire country is supposed to be poor? That is the key! Politciians cant be living like oil rich couf ntry while citizens are told to live like poor african nation.

It is on record he commissioned it before the end of his tenure as the Refinery was already completed.
