do4luv14: Someone joined in January, and invest U20 player award, and is making the team of the season chaii that's 🔥
To be sincere we’re underrating this girl so much like a Player that won the biggest Awards in the US as College Best Player. 1. Honda Best Player 2. MAC Hermann Trophy 3. ACC Offensive Player of the Year(NCAA). 4. U23 Best Serie A Best Player of the Season. 5. 2023/24 Serie A Team of the Season 6. The Various Best Player of the Week she won at College last season after the World Cup and the Players of the week she won this Season in Italy.
If it was one of the European Countries like England, Germany or USA even Zambia sef the hype would have been so high, This girl is definitely among the top10 U23 Best Player in the World. She should make CAF top10 best player of the year.
There’s an Argument on ground on who’s the Best Marker between Halimatu Ayinde and Christy Ucheibe..
I just want you guys opinion on this!
Big Question here, this two players might play similarly but very different too. One thing for sure that you must take note of is that Christy Ucheibe energy level is like that of two players and can cover more ground than anyone else in that position in this World as a whole.
Ayinde is more experienced and calm on the ball and can pass out of tight corners while Ucheibe passing game is her major setback.
For Woman2Woman Marking I will give it to Ayinde as she has done it pretty well to our face, I believe she might be the best that’s why Randy gave her the job at the last World Cup, She might do same against Aitana Bonmati at the Olympics after her excellent job against Lauren James.
Anyway I wouldn’t give Christy Ucheibe that kind of marking job as it would limit her strength a lot as she’s like 2 players in 1 body. Abiodun is more like mini Ayinde right now. In essence I will say Ayinde can focus on one player and mark her out of the game, while Ucheibe can multitask. Giving Ucheibe one player is like limiting her strength which might affect the team so let her explore and cover more space then allow Ayinde stay.
Deltamani: Paris 2024 Olympics: NFF considers Spain for Super Falcons training camp
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) will confirm soon where the country’s senior women national side, the Super Falcons, will train ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The NFF, according to sources, has sent out invitation letters to players of the Super Falcons to train in Spain ahead of the competition to acclimatize to the weather conditions of France.
The initial plan was for the nine-time African champions to hold a foreign or local camp in the ongoing FIFA women’s international window between 28 May to June 4, during which Randy Waldrum sought to do an open screening for his new additions ahead of the championship.
However, the NFF could not favour the plan due to unconfirmed reasons but already moved on to make arrangement for a pre-tournament training camp in Spain, holding from 5 to 16 July.
During the camp, the Super Falcons are scheduled take on one of the high-profile teams (name withheld) in Group A, featuring hosts France, Canada, New Zealand and Colombia.
According to the team’s schedule, leaked the Grade A friendly match will likely come up July 15 – a day before the team departs for the tournament in France.
Nigeria are drawn against reigning world champions Spain, Japan and South American champions Brazil in Group C at the Paris Olympics holding from July 25 to August 10.
The West Africans will open their campaign against Brazil at Stade de Bordeaux on July 25 before taking on Spain three days later in Nantes and later Japan on July 31 at the same venue.
Nothing much lost from this 28 May to June 4 Camp though as it’s just a week window and players might take two to three days to get to the Camp too which is already a short one. The good thing is the players will be Camping in Spain where we already have some of our top players already. ( Ajibade, Payne, Babajide, Gift and some Newbie’s)

At least they still have about 3 weeks to prepare for the Olympics with the way the Camp have been setup considering the number of days they will spend in Spain and in France before the tournament proper. I prefer we play France or Colombia before the Olympics too.
Congratulations to SuperFalcon Defender Onyinyechi Zogg and Servette FC Chênois Féminin who have been crowned champions of Switzerland Axa Women’s Super League..

Football wise this deal doesn't make sense for Barcelona.
All about business for them right now, her jersey still remains the highest selling for them too and more like the face of the team before anyone else.
lovewins: While I think we need to do a better job hyping our players, this isn't primarily the reason for the aforementioned.
The primary reason is because of the league that they play in. For example, 2 seasons ago the most popular Zambian player wasn't Barbara Banda but Kundananji because the later was 2nd highest goal scorer in Spain. Banda was playing in China and had more goals but didn't get much attention. I even had struggle finding out what her stats was.
JOE is even getting more recognition all things considered but isn't getting as much cause she's playing in Italy. Just last season, Tabitha Chawinga was also in Italy and scored 23 goals. She wasn't even in the CAF top 10 women category. Now that she's in France she's getting a lot more attention and many are already pitching her for the CAF awards. Same applies to other names you mentioned.
Chiamaka needs to move to a better club. She doesn't have to leave France to do that. She can get a deal with Lyon or PSG. Or she goes to a top team in England or Madrid in Spain. Those are her options.
No matter how many trophies Christy wins in Portugal (she won just as much last season too) she won't get recognition until she moves to a better league. I think JOE is fine in Juventus as the Italian league is gaining recognition by the day and she's in one of the best teams there.
If you have strong defensive midfielders like Ayinde, Ucheibe and Abiodun in your Midfield I see no reason a Coach will be worried playing against those forwards like Banda, Chawinga Sisters, Dumornay, Kundananji with higher testosterone levels than usual. I bet you if any of those forwards meet Ucheibe or even small Abiodun body go tell them. Regina Otu is another Combative midfielder too just that the Footballing IQ matters a lot too.

You’re on point, right now the Portuguese league is on the rise and I can rate them almost as same level as the Swedish, Norwegian and Danish leagues.. Benfica is a big club and a Champions League Playing side and as such she deserves more recognition as even Thembi once played there but didn’t even stay up to 3months before leaving.
Ucheibe is arguably the strongest and most energetic defensive Midfielder in World, She’s far better than the likes do Kiera Walsh, Patri, Oberdorf, Jackie Groenen, Amandine Henry and many more in the defensive side of their job as DM as she does it tirelessly but what set the rest ahead of her in that role is the Passing Game, which I think she’s now getting better on while playing from the CB position for Benfica.
Oberdorf, Groenen can’t win the Ball from their opponents as Ucheibe does, if the Coaches can work on her passes she should be playing in Barcelona, Lyon, PSG, Chelsea, Man City, Real Madrid etc
daveP: I observed. Our Players are at the core of many titles this season and na the players gaan be the source of most of the hype. What's going on. The way Nnadozie d1 arkema spot was celebrated again. It wasn't rubbed in enough for days. Nawa o. Phewwww. Your observations are not wrong.
See Christy Ucheibe winning a treble not much have been said about her, Echegini scoring 10goals and 1 assists in her first pro season playing just half of the season no much hype. see Ihezuo 3rd top scorer in Mexico nothing to make wave for her. Ordega top scorer in Russia currently but the media isn’t hyping them enough but make 1 Zambia player just score 1 goal Zambia no go allow people breath for social media.
daveP: Generally, the PR team of about 8 Potential and future Falcons players is so weak. It's as weak as van der waal's forces. Kilode sef? Not good
Their PR is so just low Like mad, If you see the way Zambia Dey hype their players eeh. Zambia have the highest Social Media hype of women players in Africa right now. Nigeria isn’t even doing half of what the Zambians are doing..
Deltamani: Jennifer Onyi Echegini! A great goal contribution ratio for the young Super Falcons Midfielder at Juventus!
🏟️ 14 Matches ⚽ 10 Goals 🅰️ 1 Assist
Coach Randy will have a lot of problems on who to pair up in the midfield with the Caliber of players we have there, and currently our Midfielders are all starters in their Clubs and their Clubs are one of the biggest and strongest in their League. 1• Halimatu Ayinde Rosengard, Sweden 2• Christy Ucheibe Benfica, Portugal 3• Toni Payne, Spain 4• Onyi Echegini, Italy 5• Deborah Abiodun, USA
Will Randy stick with the World Cup trio of Ayinde, Ucheibe and Payne with Onyi and Abiodun serving as alternatives? Or Onyi and Abiodun will seat out two of the 2023 World Cup Starters?
Deltamani: Jennifer Onyi Echegini! A great goal contribution ratio for the young Super Falcons Midfielder at Juventus!
🏟️ 14 Matches ⚽ 10 Goals 🅰️ 1 Assist
This girl is bomb, in her first season as a Pro Baller. This girl really need to be talked about more like her PR team is very very weak, she needs more publicity, Going to Italy when the league is already past half gone and still putting in this number goals is something to be amazed about.
Randy need to play her more in that no.10 position as she might do better than Toni Payne who have also done well in that position than on the wing for the SuperFalcons. Let the No.10 spot just be a battle between Toni and Onyi, whosoever delivers should be the starter.
lovewins: So happy for her. Was starting to seem like the wrong move but starting the last 2 games has been refreshing
I believe PSG Coaches saw the talent but didn’t know how to bring it out who probably weren’t patient enough to give her the game time to flourish, Nicole Payne is highly gifted with Athleticism especially Speed ( Don’t think there’s any Fullback quicker than her in the NWSL right now) Infact in the World including Top-rated Fullbacks likes Bronze, Ona, Sakina K, Salma Bacha, Carpenter and Co she should be in top 3 when it comes to pace.
The Right WingBack position will also help her game going to the Olympics as she will be more than ready for it. If Alozie can Play the Right Back position at the World Cup well, I wonder why some of the fans are still clamoring to see her as a forward/Right Winger in the SuperFalcon when they know too well that she will have a tougher competition from Ajibade, Kanu and co on the Flank.
USA Crystal Dunn is one player i like so much, as she can play as a Left Back, Winger and a Center Forward, at the U20 level she was even a Center Back.. US Coaches from the Youth Level to senior level really did utilized her Athleticism very well.
Those Complaining about Alozie Playing as a Defender should stop and allow her play as a Right Back, Wing Back, Winger and Forward, it’s all to her advantage as she won’t struggle much to get a spot in her Club or the National Team starting 11.
Houston Dash plays 3CB’s at the back in a 3-5-2 formation with Ordonez their focal point upfront.
Alozie have played as the 2nd striker in all the games she has played this season, I think she will do well from the Right Wing Back Position which will give her more room to travel to & fro on the flank! Unlike while she was playing in the midfield as a double striker upfront but do drift to the flank occasionally.
mostob: You have been against the lady way before AWCON. It is really ok if you don't like her but outrightly saying she is not good enough despite the fact that the last time you watched her was years ago is quite laughable. Maybe I she moved to the US, she will be good enough.
He’s quoting as if Playing in the R League is like she’s playing in an U20 Championship…. There are very good talents in that League and all round football there is way ahead of the Israel, Turkish, Saudi Arabia and Polish League..
The girl have been on the rise from Nigeria—Belarus—Poland and now Russia in a space of 4years.
2023/24 Season 6games 3goals 2022/23 Season 15games 9goals (Was injured for over 3months) After the WAFCON in 2022 she signed for Lokomotiv Moscow.
2021/22 Season Gornik Leczna Fc, 20games 20goals (Golden Boot)
2020/21 KKP Stomilanki Olsztyn, Poland
2020 Season 10games 8goals Bobruichanka, Belarus ( Left Belarus to Poland after 6months)
AkinDS: You Nigerians are a funny lot... The days of power football is long gone. The modern game is all about speed, slickness and finishing. That's why the likes of Salma Paralluelo, Trinity Rodman, Sophia Smith, Maria Katoto, Rachel Daly and others are a hot commodity. On the Nigerian front, the likes of Kanu, Ihezuo and Oshoala are thriving, while gra-gra players like Oparanozie, retired, and now her look alike - Macleans, are a thing of the past. Again, speed of thought and pace, slickness and finishing. Enough with this up selling of this lady, please!
The truth is you don’t fancy her and don’t also follow her game. Just because Desire Oparanozie retired doesn’t mean it was cus of pace.
Right now I will put it to you that Macleans is quicker than Ifeoma Onumonu, Esther Okoronkwo and Chinwendu Ihezuo etc.

So you think Macleans is a slow player because she’s big?? Common go and correct yourself right now, for her size she’s very much quicker than some of the forwards in our Attack right now.
Ihezuo vs Macleans, In terms of Speed Macleans is quicker sef.. And I haven’t even seen much difference between her and them Oshoala, Kanu right now.
Deltamani: Macleans Chinonyerem 24yrs Center Forward Lokomotive Moscow Russia 🇷🇺
She’s that Typical no.9 we’re Lacking Right now • Jump Power and Heading Accuracy • Positionally good • She’s very physical • Good Hold up play • Very Quick, Shooting Power & Accuracy • Deadly in front of goal (A shoot on site kind of no.9) • Uses both feet’s effectively..
She’s giving that kind of Desire Oparanozie size, hope she gets to take her chance when called up again as she is that typical Nigerian top9 that can Finnish, bully her way through the defense.
Chiwendu Ihezuo scores a Brace with 1 Assist as Pachuca beat Club Tijuana away from Home…
Chinwendu is coming with full force 12goals in 15games, with the way Ifeoma Onumonu is struggling right now Ihezuo is already on the higher side of taking her spot. She’s in form and Randy need to take advantage of that.
daveP: uhmmm. Let's see sha. That Ekiti queens defender seen her play before. Let's see if she can do what it takes.
She share same name with the Coach though. The media have been buzzing because of her, I hope she live up to the hype they’re pouring out on her, I haven’t watched her play so I can’t say! I will keep tabs on her as her position is somewhat we can easily spot out.
Olowookere Oluwatoyin Mary, born on the 13th of January 2008 (15 yrs) is a Nigerian🇳🇬 professional female footballer from Osun State who plays as a Left Full Back for NWFL-Premiership side, Ekiti Queens F.C
lovewins: Olympic prep will probably start in June when the season is over so they still have time. It's also fair to state that the preparations isn't really within NFFs purview per se. Olympics is strictly under the NOC or better put the sports ministry. They are the ones to release money so really hope the sports ministry do what is required.
As per the NFF president's visit, he is primarily visiting players of the Super Eagles that got injured on National assignment (during the AFCON). I think it's laudable seeing the NFF usually abandons players whenever they get injured. If at all, only Demehin qualifies for a visit cause she also got injured on National assignment. I however don't think that's in their plans sha.
I just hope Blessing Demehin recovers well and as quickly as possible for the Olympic Games as it seems her injury is taking a little more time now.. Thank Goodness the season in France ends in May.
Here’s the Full game Clip between Lokomotiv Moscow and Zenit Women’s which was played Yesterday.!
A lot of Pace and Power at work here, A less physical Player will struggle in this league to be sincere, At least those Calling the Russian League Poor can see for themselves and do their ratings better.!
