There is difference between company name registration and trademark registration, so it actually instituted a suit on both against CAC and CBN

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that eNaira Payment Solutions Ltd had, in the suit marked FHC/ABJ/CS/1113/2021, sued the CBN, the Registrar of Trademarks and the Registrar General of CAC.

In the amended suit filed on 5 April 2024, the plaintiff brought 17 prayers including a N90.10 billion in damages.

It prayed the court to restrain the defendants from withdrawing the trademark, “eNaira,” from it and stopping the CBN from claiming or conferring ownership of the name on itself.

It described the acts of the defendants as unconstitutional takeover of its personal property which it had maintained for over 20 years, among other reliefs.


This means the company in quote already owns the trademark and the CBN are the ones sorting to removing the trademark.

Even the judge in this:

Delivering a consolidated judgement in the suits, Justice Omotosho observed that the Trademark Registry, through a letter dated Nov. 15, 2021, had written to eNaira Ltd canceling and withdrawing the acceptance letters issued to the company in respect of applications for eNaira in class 36 and 42.

He observed that the registry had directed for the withdrawal on the grounds that “eNaira is a national intellectual property and constitutes a symbol and national asset of Nigeria.”


Notice the judge is saying yes they have and own it but According to the judge, as it stands, the plaintiff has no greater legal right to the trademark than the 1st defendant.


This simply means both arms of government can disenfranchise any common man if they decide that 'a name' as such meets the interest of government



He should've been compensated out of court
Not only is he being disenfranchise because the name meets government interests
He is also being asked to pay for damages
It can't happen in saner climes

Yeah, you are making some sense here. But I like to believe the owners of eNaira were being overconfident and unrealistic about what would be the outcome of the judgement otherwise they should have been the one asking for out-of-court settlement knowing that CBN has a upper hand in the case because of the name 'Naira' they are using there.

You are right about the out of court settlement but who knows if they were overconfident, they might have felt threatened by CBN's imposition or they were just trying to defend themselves from corrupt actors in the CBN/govt from demanding some sort of bribery. We can never know the underhand dealings.

What's sad is how they have to pay for damages which in my opinion is very wrong. Its unfair to register a company and pass through the stringent procedures, intended profit margin or losses valuations, taxes, expenditures over the years and either be made to revoke same name without proper compensation while being asked to pay for damages over trademark rights when there's no case of financial fraud.

Justice seeking should not be a weapon of the government against the common man.

The Judge is right to make those observations. The judge is however wrong to make eNaira payment solutions pay damages to Cbn.

Cbn should have been made to pay compensation to him as the first and legally named user of the portfolio and afterwards they retract the name from him. That way no hard feelings.

This should’ve been an out of court settlement where all parties quietly resolve things

It's plausible. IN another universe, Hitler doesn't overintervene in the weapons industry, and doesn't waste time on extermination, maybe they could have won.

But that universe would also have to have a USA that is not an industrial juggernaut. One thing Nazis feared before 1942 was the USA getting involved in WW2...because the USA had a massive industrial sector that could outproduce anything the reich could do. Even Hitler told his secetaries over dinner one evening in 1942 that he had to win the war before the US got fully in. Also, it has to have a USSR that doesn't have a Stalin pushing for industrialization in the 1920's and 30's. Maybe the Nazis win in that universe.

But we never might know until someone invents something to travel between parallel worlds.

You are very correct and well learned. When I woke up, I myself even drew 2 variations to the differences between our world and the one which I saw.

1. I don't think the Nazis in our world if they had won in our current timeline would have allowed a black man to work in their office even as a servant or whatever.

2. They were somewhat a bit lenient towards the woman who brought them the food when she was complaining.
I feel in our world, she might have been either arrested on suspicion alone.

As for the weapons research, the allies let their experts do their thing's. Nazis? Hitler was over intervention in things he didn't know much about, some of the scientists were incompetent ,(hello Heisenberg) , and things like building a tank became a race to perfection instead of building a practical something. Oh and they wasted time late in the war on wonderweapons. ( In 1945 they were trying to build advanced aircraft when there really was no time for that)

I don't have control to things I see. It's like I'm a rider in these events. Even if you say Nazism couldnt win. It is mathematically plausible that parallel universes exist and as such mutliple variations of the same timeline in which thing occur differently would be and could be happening.

I was on a world where German Nazis won. Most of the world’s population was subjugated and other peoples who weren’t german but caucasian were made to serve the nazis as servants. My observation of these events was taking place through the perspective of a white caucasian woman who was a food servant.

I appeared to be in a big office with a somewhat dark decor, there were two ss nazi officers who were seated across each other on wooden chairs, they had computers that really looked different from modern computers on their desk (like black and green images)(very sure about the black screeen not sure about the greeen). One wore a somewhat white uniform while the other a black uniform. I brought a variety of food for them, which I suspect I had poisoned one or two of the choices on the menu. Though the officers treated me with a kind of dignity because I was a white woman, one of them was still very much suspicious of me and ordered me to stay with the food tray while he was checking every single food options on the tray in an effort to determine if I had put something in the food.

I as the ‘woman’ was so afraid, that in an effort to divert his attention, started to complain loudly about how he was wasting time on suspicions and if he was not happy with the food or service, he could as well either kill me or fire me. He ignored my complaints and continued to check the food suspiciously while the officer across from him told him they havent got the time for this nonsense and they had other better things to do. Then the officer who was suspicious told me to return all the food back as he wasn’t interested in eating because he didn’t trust me. So I packed the tray and left. On my way down the big hallway like office. I saw a black man who was also a servant, he appeared to be seated on a computer desk. These computers are not modern like ours, they have sort of black screens and are not coloured, he was trying to call me and talk to me about joining the resistance or something in a hush hush manner but i was so afraid of being caught that I didn’t respond to him while walking away and I woke up.

This is what happens and has been happening to me most of my life. I have so many detailed experiences. I always write them on Quora though as a journal. I've been doing and documenting this for years now

November 17th 2025. I'm in a parallel universe. Here, I'm younger and in a School, a University. Here, we are having some sort of a final year exam. It’s called “Veritas Exams”.

The exams were taken on two sides of the institution building and before you write the exams, you're allowed to choose where to have it. I had chosen to be on the North side while taking the exams. Notwithstanding, during the exams, I seemed to have completed all the objective questions on one side of the paper while I didn’t finish up on opposite side of the question paper due to overconfidence. I seemed to have requested a change of scenery to move to the south side of the building to complete my exams. To which the invigilator said that I could do.

So it appears I stood up and took permission to go to the other side to complete the exam. As soon as I got to the other side of the building the invigilator on the south side asked me ‘what I was doing moving around during examination hours?’. I told him I was allowed to come to this side of the building to complete my exams but instead he seized my script and waves it to the audience and mutters somethings about ‘malpractice’ and then goes on to collect everyone’s paper as he says times up. I was too stunned to argue. As I went after him, he collected everyone’s paper and walked away.

Then there were students who were telling me how cool he was and how he gave them enough time for the exams, and how he even seemed to be laughing and joking with them meanwhile he was much more aggressive towards me.

As people filed out from the hall, a lady walked up to me explaining, how there were also questions at the back of the question sheet which she showed me. I saw the questions and it was English - like filling in the gaps kind of questions.

The questions appeared like a complete the sentence correctly Subjective exam. It was about replacing an empty ’_______’ with ‘being able to’ and ‘________’ with ‘kind of’ when appropriate statement.

After seeing the questions at the back of the sheet, it was already at moment that I was at the point of tears because I felt I had botched this exam. Guess what I woke up and indeed one of my eyes was teary today.

Yeah, I get what you mean. The more I look into this, the more it feels like consciousness isn’t just stuck in one timeline. Some dreams feel too real and too specific to be just imagination. These days, I genuinely believe that some of our dreams aren’t just products of imagination, but actual glimpses into the lives of our alternate selves , versions of us existing in other realities or universes mostly due to the vivid and precognitive dreams I dream of and experience. What really strengthened this belief for me was hearing about how breakthroughs in quantum computing suggest possible links or communication across parallel universes/ alternate realities , which is something that’s deeply rooted in quantum mechanics..

I once had a dream that seemed to embody the Many-Worlds Interpretation, where I observed an alternate version of myself living out the choices I didn’t make in this reality. It was as if every path I didn’t take in my life exists somewhere else, and my alternate self experiences the consequences of those decisions in a parallel universe.

Lately, I’ve begun to believe that when we die, our consciousness and soul don’t simply go to heaven or hell. Instead, they might shift or merge into another version of ourselves in an alternate reality. In a way, it’s like a fusion of reincarnation and quantum immortality, where both mind and soul continue to exist in another branch of the universe/alternate realities, and mind u am a Christian

Exactly, I’ve started to write a book on this. I know to some people it would be sounding more a taboo but deep within ourselves we can subtly tell that dying like dreaming- leads to some sort of fusion with other existing branches of different realities as you mentioned. My research has led me down a deep path especially on the nature of consciousness in relation to sense of self- which are two entirely different pathways

Hi, I often dream of parallel universes and stuff. So this is my diary for today's event. I do not fabricate or imagine. I just write things as they happen and how they happen to me.


November 6th, 2025.

I found myself in a parallel universe. Strangely, the setting of my house here resembled the place I used to live in Nigeria back in this normal universe. There was a tailor in this world; someone who’s alive here but not in our original reality. He made clothes for my father and operated from a small shack. My father seems very young playful and somewhat naive in this universe

My father took me to him for measurements, but something felt off. The tailor remained deep inside the shack and kept calling me to come in. I refused, telling him to come outside instead, claiming I was claustrophobic and asthmatic; conditions I don’t actually have here in the original universe. His insistence felt sinister. He kept beckoning me inward, but I stood my ground, repeating that he should come out.

At one point, my father tried to persuade me to go inside, but I still refused. Neither the tailor nor I would budge, so I decided to leave. That’s when the tailor’s apprentice showed up, visibly angry. He confronted the tailor, questioning why he wouldn’t come out to take my measurements unless he had something shady planned. The tailor still refused, and I walked away.

Back home, I told my mom what had happened. She was very different in this universe; she had a noticeably large bum, darker skinned, younger, more gentler and looked entirely different from the one I know here in my original universe. I also had two younger sisters, probably around 5 to 8 years old. They’d inherited the same physical trait from her. I explained to my mom how I suspected the tailor of having sinister intentions and how my father seemed too naive to recognize evil. I even prayed for my father to gain spiritual discernment.

As we left the room where the whole family had gathered, I called my two younger sisters to come along. While we walked and talked, one of them began telling me about her school and future career plans. In this universe, schools apparently determine your career path from nursery level. So it seems as a child, you would have chosen a career path which the education system is designed to train and guide you specifically toward that chosen profession you made as a child. This means that as a child, you must choose your future profession. Let's say you chose to be a 'doctor', once this choice is made, everything about the schooling from nursery to secondary school is specifically tailored for you to become a doctor.

Well in this world my sister said she wanted to become a vet and sell food for cats; and that she’d chosen the University of Warrington.

Then I woke up.

PS: I swear, I can’t even make this up. I had to search online for a University of Warrington and there’s no existence of a University of Warrington in this reality. This is wild.

It was very late in the night and the way it was moving was really fast and the position of light and colors also. It's really strange the world we live in. What ever we know is a lie. We are far from the truth.

Let me introduce myself: I’m just an ordinary guy who dreams about things. I’m not after fame or likes. I only write things exactly the way I see them.

On October 28, I had a dream that felt incredibly real, almost more real than reality itself.

In the dream, I was at a city centre, going about a normal day. Then I looked up and saw a massive alien mothership hovering above. It was enormous, with multicolored lights: blue, red, green, and white shining from it. I was stunned. Beside me stood a young girl in a school uniform. I asked her, “Are you seeing what I’m seeing?” She replied, “Yes, that’s a big object in the sky.”

In that moment, I thought I might be hallucinating, which is why I asked her to confirm what I saw. Everyone else in the city centre seemed frozen in shock, around me no one moved, some people at a distance away were running in confusion.

The ship glided slowly but somehow also felt unbelievably fast. It’s very hard to explain an object that is moving slowly yet faster than anything I’ve ever seen. One strange detail stood out: instead of leaving horizontal trails like jets or airplanes, it released vertical trails. I cant really say but it looked like vertical vapour from the underbelly of the mothership. I only know this vessel was enormous and stretched out horizontally across the sky.

I also heard that this ship operates using fluorocarbons. I’m not sure what fluorocarbons are used for, but if it wasn’t that exact word, then it was something carbon-related. All I know is that carbon is a key part of its engineering.

Later, I came across an image on TikTok that looked exactly like what I saw in my dream.
