It’s less than a week to my birthday and I’m here wondering ‘What To Wear?” Don’t get me wrong it’s not like there’s someone to impress at work but since it’s my birthday, I may as well rock whatever I want and I think it might have to be an Agbada.

As you may have noticed, I recently started a relationship with Agbada and like I always say, I’m not an expert on “Agbada matters” but I’ve tried to wear this African traditional apparel in my own way and this has helped me to appreciate it even better.

On Friday 6th February 2015, the PDP Presidential campaign were in the Bayelsa state, the President’s home state. As expected, Bayelsans turned up for President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan rally. Other prominent politicians at the event included Minister of Petroleum Resources – Diezani Alison-Madueke, Diepreye Alamieyeseigha, David Mark, Liyel Imoke, and Peter Obi.

The First Lady of Nigeria, Patience Jonathan was also there to rally up support. Snippets from her speech have gone viral.

Birdman and Lil Wayne have officially declared war … settlement talks have broken down and Wayne will now sue his mentor, claiming among other things Birdman owes him $8 million.

As TMZ reported … the 2 Titans tried coming to terms this week but it wasn’t meant to be. Now Wayne will ask a judge to declare him free of Cash Money and Birdman’s control. Wayne says Birdman has violated their contract by withholding the release of his new album.

As for the $8 MILLION claim … Wayne says Birdman owed the money for his latest album — it was supposed to be an advance.

Prophet T.B. Joshua has released a video via his YouTube channel Emmanuel TV showing a prophecy he gave regarding the disappearance of AirAsia Flight 8501 in Indonesia this morning.

“I have a message for the nation, Indonesia. When it comes to this disaster issue, I don’t want to mention it. it looks so nasty to me to mention – a situation where it will cost a lot of lives, suddenly,” he said

“This is a crash. Why should this continue to happen there?” Joshua goes on to point to a problem in the ‘geographical atmosphere’, calling on the relevant authorities to ‘look into it’.

Early in the morning on Sunday 28th December 2014, an AirAsia passenger jet carrying 162 people lost contact with Indonesian air traffic control. The plane went missing after pilots asked to change course to avoid bad weather during a flight from Indonesia’s Surabaya city to Singapore. On board were 155 Indonesians, three South Koreans and one each from Singapore, Malaysia and Britain, plus a French pilot.

President Goodluck Jonathan’s re-election campaign has received a N21.27 billion boost. Various companies, individuals and parastatals from various sectors donated the sum during a fund raising dinner organized by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Saturday, December 20 in Abuja.

It's official! Wiz Khalifa has no desire to beg Amber to stay. Wiz Khalifa real name Cameron Jibril Thomaz has filed a response to Amber Rose's divorce papers in a Los Angeles court yesterday.

According to the file, which was obtained by E! News, Wiz also cited irreconcilable differences for the reason of their split, but he's countering Rose's request for full physical custody of their little boy and asking that the court grant him joint custody and visitation rights.

The management of the Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU, Ile-Ife, paralysed academic and social activities yesterday, following a report that one of the students, who had been on admission at the university’s teaching hospital, manifested signs of Ebola Virus Disease, EVD

It was gathered that prior to this development, it was rumored in most parts of Osun State on Tuesday that a female student of OAU contracted the deadly Ebola virus and had been admitted at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital OAUTH, Ile-Ife.

Speaking on the matter, a student of the university, who preferred anonymity, told newsmen that the alleged student returned from Port Harcourt in Rivers State on Monday and on Tuesday, she was rushed to the university’s health center from where she was referred to the OAUTH after showing symptoms of EVD.

The “rumor” however spread quickly as parents and guardians of students were said to be making contacts with their wards and children over the development.
