In a lecture delivered at Babcock University’s 12th Convocation titled, ‘Transforming Nigeria economy: Opportunities and Challenges’, Finance Minister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala gave the breakdown of the allocations of Nigeria’s 10 highest revenue receiving states based on the federal allocations in 2013.

Finance Minister, Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala listed the states which according to her, earn more than the annual budgets of some neighboring countries and queried what these states have been doing with their allocations.

The allocations are as follows:

Akwa Ibom N260 billion,
Rivers N230 billion,
Delta State N209 billion,
Bayelsa N173 billion,
Lagos N168 billion,
Kano N140 billion,
Katsina N103 billion
Oyo N100 billion
Kaduna N 97 billion
Borno N94 billion.

An Israeli geologist has claimed he has ‘confirmed’ the existence and authenticity of a tomb belonging to Jesus and his son in Jerusalem.
Speaking to New York Times, Dr Arye Shumron unearthed that after extensive chemical tests, he said he has linked the James Ossuary – a 1st- century chalk box that some believe hold the bones of Jesus’ brother – to the long disputed ‘Jesus Family tomb’ in the city’s East Talpiot neighbourhood.

Dr Shumron suggests that Jesus was married, fathered a child and that a physical resurrection did not take place.

“I think I’ve got really powerful, virtually unequivocal evidence that the James ossuary spent most of its lifetime, or death time, in the Talpiot Tomb.” He said.

According to geoarcheologist Dr Shimron, “the ‘son of God’ was buried with nine other people, including ‘Judah, son of Jesus’ and his wife, named Mary.”

The Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo has been closed down indefinitely following the inability of the government to meet the demands of its staff union including the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) and National Academic Staff Union (NASU).

Some of the demands of the staff unions include: the appointment of an acting vice-chancellor to preside over the convocation that would have been held last week and right the wrong allegedly done by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. John Obafunwa’s including the victimisation of its members, withdrawal of certificates of lecturers and abuse of due process by the university’s management.

Having been the victim of cruel bullying since the age of 11, which became so bad she started self-harming and at one point tried to take her own life, the lady with a full beard, 24-year-old Harnaam has since embraced her body hair sporting a full beard and letting nature take its course.

As she embraced her facial hair, Twitter and its users came out to lend their voice and support to her.

Kaur said the aim of the film is to ‘prevent bullying and to show people the effects of bullying on young people’.

There was a lovely outpouring of support from Twitter.

However, some ingredients such as trust and faith are essential for its survival. Some of these may include the religious background of the lady, moral uprightness and ideologies. Though it appears that religion, morals and feminism are squarely against sex for different reasons. Some believe sex is wrong as they see it as a form of exploitation while others consider it a sin when done outside marriage. It is however apparent that a display of any of these characteristics might be an indication of virginity.
Furthermore, some Psychologists have said that a lot of ladies do not stay as virgins for the reasons they put forward. Some have been said to remain virgins as a result of ugliness and decide to stay as virgins because they do not want to become cheap by sleeping with some one that is not of their social strata. Thus, for this reason, they justify their staying off sex by declaring sex as immoral.
