I just hope you are financially capable of taking care of her as managing her health won't be cheap. And I also hope you have the mental strength should any thing happen to her especially death due to complications

Other than that you are good to go.

Foreign Affairs / Re: You See Why The West Dont Want Some Countries To Have Nuclear Weapons Or Wmds by SUPERPACK: 11:30am On Feb 27
Blame the west for escalating a matter that could be contained. Houthis made a demand that no Israeli ship will be allowed to pass through their waters as they transport the weapons used in killing children in Gaza.

Israel bound ships adhered and took longer route. Then came US and UK demanding that they should allow Israel pass which they refused. US and UK coalition started conducting airstrike and killing their members.

They now said no ship from any nation is allowed to pass again. As we speaking they are still bombing Yemen for Israel.

Muscling them made everyone a target. While they receive airstrikes from US they transfer the pain on everyone that uses their waters.

Yes. We do. We also know they are still strong and backed by powerful nations in the west. The Houthis occupy a part of the earth that is delicate. Attacking them is as good as an own goal, negotiation is better.

Face reality. Why should I be happy when such gains will never translate to reduced prices in the market because those doing business are not foóls like the internet mórons we have in Nigeria who jubilate at pat on the head after being thoroughly whipped and brutalised by the government and its evil policies.

Will my being happy at this fake narrative cause Dangote cement to return to 4k and will it cause bag of rice to return to 20k?

Do you know how many lives have been destroyed by the foólishness and wickedness and insensitivity of this Tinubu administration?

A lot of you keep spreading falsehood about Binance but please tell us, is Binance responsible for Tinubu declaring subsidy removal and thereby increasing cost of diesel and leading to massive inflation?

Is Binance responsible for the failure of your country to have a working refinery to produce diesel so much so that a litre of diesel now sells for 1700?

In fact, are you feeling the heat in the economy or are you part of the overfed privileged political class feeding fat on Nigeria's common wealth and getting paid to spread false narrative on the internet to deceive ordinary folks who won't even spare their own time to research and understand what's happening in the country?

Please avoid quoting me if you have nothing sensible to say
Be calming down, bro. Tune down on the emotional outburst. We all deserve an opinion, it is called freedom of speech. You being against him or him being against you won't change the trajectory of our economy.

Lets accommodate each other, pls.

Guys pls my OKX app is not verifying me

I’ve switched to Web, logged in but it is still not verifying my NIN or BVN, with the case of international passport it rejected my selfie which it asked for after I uploaded my international passport.

I have created an account for my younger bro, virgin account but it still refuses to verify. Exactly same response.

I messaged someone to buy his okx, he said it’s unverified, I asked him to verify it and he shows me the same response my own and my bro own says.

WHAT IS GOING ON?
If this is the question you are talking of, it's hard to get a definite answer as only few people here use OKX. Try to contact their support or try a desktop.

We don't have answers to all questions, apologies.

This thread disgusts me

I’ve repeatedly asked one question for almost 1 week without reply

I have asked another one, nobody is replying.

Nobody assisting eachother or interacting with new comers

Thank you
When asking questions try to be specific by mentioning people available so they get notified. On the other hand, sorry no one owes anybody a reply nor assistance as this is a free thread. Try to ask again and tag people.

I also bought usdt at rate of 350 in the year 2016 or so

That one has even trippled in profit grin

Which way my country
It is not profit until you use it to buy goods in the market. Inflation will take away 600k plus from that your capital from December to now. As companies continue to shutdown you will have nothing to buy again with your money, Lebanon, Somalia, Venezuela, Zimbabwe, etc are examples.

Prepare for hyperinflation

While you blame Binance it is also worth noting that CBN and Tinubu started this naira free fall the very day they decided to float the dollar rate. You can't float what you don't have in abundance or else scarcity will push it to unbelievable levels.

Remember that binance is an exchange and they trade with bots, even CZ have been fined by SEC for manipulation, wash trading and volume manipulations. Now if for a day the volume for a pair is about one million usdt the actual volume minus bots is about $300,000. You heard me right.

This is where an ETF comes in, where the real currency is not traded but rather a mirror of it. This ETF will be left for traders to do as they wish while the real dollars is left for those that really need them.

While we pray that dollar keep rising pls do have pity on those earning in naira. Should this hardship and rise continue stealing kidnapping and maiming of the perceived rich will become order of the day.

Just 2 days ago here in Enugu an ambulance transporting a corpse was kidnapped, both the corpse, driver, dead man's children in it are missing.

Remember the million boys crisis in Lagos where people move in group to steal.

We are now approaching economy shutdown, that your dollar or naira in your bank account is not safe as long as your neighbours are hungry.

If you're a hungry Nigerian, what I wrote won't enter your head no matter how true it is. In fact, you'll never comprehend it. A hungry man is an angry lion.
You should not be doing this comparison with dollar. It should be in naira as 98% of Nigerians get paid in naira. Like salary this is what minimum wage can buy in 2020 vs what it can buy in 2024,that's the best way.

While I also earn in dollars too, I feel it is best to judge by the majority.

the buyer knows me as the owner and as a buyer I think you should also do your due diligence before accepting to pay for anything and moreover he hasn't finished paying for the Solar he paid 135,000 (PS3 console and 35k cash) and still have a balance of 115,000 to pay. He should have called me and made findings from me before accepting to pay that ridiculous amount
For a set up currently valued at 600k.
No one is arguing if you are right to claim your property oh, it remains yours. But I was only looking at it if the buyer was defrauded in this case.

But since this panel is not fully sold I am pleading you negotiate for loss sharing. Like you give them half the initial cost they paid your brother and then they bear the remaining half loss.

I am only advocating this because I can't tell what this people might result to to recover the money from your brother, they could also torture him to get their money this might lead to death too.

No matter what happens a brother still remains a brother, but keep him at arms length.

This happens when you don't read well. I have two brothers. It's not the one that informed me about the theft that stole it. It was my second brother.
So safe to say this second guy broke into your property and assumed ownership and sold your property to his friend. Did the buyer claim to know it was stolen?

Let's say you bought a car, then it got stolen, and you luckily see someone using it. You confront the person, and in their defense, they claim they bought it from someone else. You still have all your papers intact. Will you have them arrested, or will you wait until they provide the person that sold it to them?

One thing I learned from this thread is that there are a lot of thieves on nairaland.
In this case it was not stolen it was collected and resold by a family member who had legal access to the property in question. If it were stolen do you think the sécond family will go ahead and mount it on their home knowing that the owner or a neighbour will see it. They would have sold it too and get another that will not be recognized.

This is my first of hearing of a stolen solar panel. Why? The coupling required to mount it on a roof is not something that can be disassembled with dragging attention of neighbours.

Mind you, you must prove it in court that the person that acquired the property is aware it was stolen and had intentions to deprive the original owner of using his property.

Did I ask him to burgle my home and steal my stuff? I should leave them because my brother is the thief? You wey wan buy something, you no suppose do due diligence?the right thing to do is to retrieve my solar system from them and anything wey dem wan do to my brother when they see him is up to them.
Your brother did not burgle your home, you stated that you showed him where you kept the keys and he collected it. Remember you are heading to court and all your statements will be cross examined by professionals.

Abeg go one side.

Let them produce the receipt else it's stolen. It's risky to buy electronics without a sale document.
And what if the brother forged a document and presented to them? A receipt doesn't always translate to ownership, come to Enugu old park and see big stores selling goods with fake receipt, they even allow third party to sell in their shop and share the gains.

MrOposter:
They should have called me to confirm that I truly wanted to sell it. Selling a solar system for half of what I bought it should be an alarm bell.
The question you should be asking is if they are aware it was a stolen property or just an ordinary used property. For them to be convicted you have to prove that they are aware it is a stolen property. Good luck.
