Your (Ghanaians) obsession with Nigeria is sickening.
I mean y'all are everywhere in our space (blogs, forums, music, movies...) Y'all need to get a life of your own.
look who is talking about obsession. can nairaland go a day without mentioning Ghana? go to your front page and see whether we Ghanaians are obsessed or Nigerians are the obsessed people.

I would never want to be Ghanaian. I'm very happy being Nigerian thank you.

A coup is not the same as a war. Even Zimbabwe just had a coup a couple of weeks ago. Facing economic hardship is an experience shared with all developing countries at some point. I know when parts of Ghana had famine your people sought refuge in Nigeria.

I'm talking about hurdles like war or serious religious tension or even not really having a majority tribe which leads to major tribal tussles.

Your past 'hurdles' are not really affecting you today are they?. Nigeria's hurdles are relevant today. From tribalism to Boko haram and all that stems from it.
how is it an achievement if Nigerians are struggling today because ethnic and religious issues? in Ghana we had tribal issues too, there are Muslims, traditionalist and Christians, even with the Christians we have different types of it but do you hear of any problems like that in Ghana? no because our fore fathers did a great job in drumming the world oneness and togetherness in every Ghanaian mind. if it didn't happen for you then you should blame your fore fathers. they failed you big-time. stop crying about it and fix it after all you claim to be Africa's giant ryt?

You are a Nigerian site so you are the one that seems to be lost my friend.

The guy just said he was specifically talking about Nigeria and he does this on a Nigerian site so I don't need any permission from you.

I will talk about Ghana from my experience of visiting there, again I am not asking your permission.
I'm on a Nigerian site quoting you because you people can't keep Ghana outta your business. are you guys really out of news?

Uv said it all mate. Don't be complacent and don't give them too much respect which could amount to fearing them.

Loveren and Co can't stand the firepower of Nigeria
plus the pace and trickery of your players will help you alot. Croatia like to possess the ball alot since I think the best plan will be quick passes and counter attacks.

We can't be complacent. This is a tricky group. The team we underrate might just be the most difficult to beat.
it's really tricky like you said but winning your first match will boast the team's morale. lucky for you Iceland and Croatia were in the same group during the qualifiers so there is the video to give rohr the advantage as to how to beat them.

The Argentina game is our last game. One game at a time.
After our first game, we will know if Croatia is hyped or not.
all the best with Croatia but I know they are very beatable. it's mostly Nigerian fans that put pressure on the team.

Algeria have the 4th GDP in africa (166 billions ) with (39 million population) , so money is not a problem for infrastructures and public projects ,

and even for privates and freigners who want to invest in Algeria , algerian banks fund their projects ( under the 51% , 49% rule) , 51% of the society should be owned by an Algerian company and 49% for the foreigner investor ) . like this money and control stay in algeria
I'm so impressed, your population growth is okay, 39 million for a large country like Algeria is nice. I think your country should come and share some of your expertise with us in Ghana.

we also want to speed our our development.

So Ivory Coast and Senegal you view as dysfunctional too? Just because Ghana as a country has never really been tested it does not mean you should be arrogant.

If you ask me the very fact that you don't have the numerous hurdles that some of your neighbouring countries have had to scale means you should really be doing much better than you are as a country.
what's your problem huh, he has stated his opinion so state yours and get lost. you are always on Ghanaian threads trying so hard to be heard. you ain't Ghanaian and you will never be one so mind your business.
you are funny though when you say Ghana has not been tested, didnt Ghana also have it's series of coups ? didnt we face economic hardships in the past? did we get oil in the 80's ? you talk as if Ghana had it rosy as well. let us think o plz.

then how did alomo bitter enter into Nigeria?
There's was a time my friend brought vegetable leaves from Ghana tho..
They still have ways of shipping it into Nigeria.
Alomo bitters have a company in Ghana where they produce the drinks. I'm talking about importing in big quantities not the vegetables leaves your friends bought.

Icelanders are many things but minnows they surely are not. Like a lot of posters have said they are very disciplined defensively and compact they also have a good team spirit. They have beaten solid teams like england and croatia so they are very dangerous
exactly, I'm having a feeling Nigeria's biggest test will be against Iceland, Croatia is a hyped footballing nation, Mexico defeated them at the World Cup 4-0 last four year! Nigeria can get a draw or a win against Argentina because I think Nigeria will be playing the weakest argentine team in recent times but beating Iceland won't be easy though it's possible.

All the vehicles you use in Ghana as a whole is less than those on the streets of Lagos alone, lazy people and that's why we are pushing you guys out of business even in your domain in Ghana. Can Ghanaians try that in Nigeria without being crushed out?
Admit it that you can never rub shoulders with Nigeria, you can try maybe with Rivers or Anambra state but never Lagos and never Nigeria.
hahahaha dude is taking ish now personal, this I always say to my Nigerian friends, the average Nigerian is always looking for a way to scam, steal or cheat, few normally do things by the book. y'all are here in Ghana doing business because of ecowas even though our law prevents foreigners from engaging in petty job over here but you guys should hope that this luck never runs out of because me I don't like Nigerians Atal so if a person like me becomes president in Ghana in the future, forget ecowas o, you people are gonnas Kraa.

sorry to rein in your parade,i dont know if you guys in ghana do elementary economics in school. A country with low per capita income and yet prices of goods and services are on the high. It simply shows one thing, that the economy is dysfunctional.Over the years Ghana has been suffering from monetary inflation, reason why the currency is constantly been devalued by the central bank of Ghana. Remember the last time Ghana had to re-denominate there worthless currency by taking away 2digits(zeros) from there currency.
You equated your dysfunctional economy with USA and South Africa, without considering there relatively high per capita income.
...in the streets of Ghana, people constantly protest about the rising cost of living and are encourage to eat cheap pkanke(not so sure of the spelling),then cool off there anger by listening to musics by wizkid, phyno, davido,Psquare,Olamide,Flavour and sometimes sarkodie, before i forget the endless stream of nollywood movies courtesy of your Big brother Nigeria. Cheers!
dude nothing works in Nigeria, my question is simple do you have light? does your tap flows with water constantly, things are on the high in Ghana but it pays because we have light, water, Good roads, Good schools, affordable health care, free education for a country that is almost 6 times less richer than your country, shouldnt that put you in shame?

secondly, your artistes are the ones trying to be relevant in Ghana, I think they are obsessed with Ghanaians, why do u think runtown sang a song about a Ghanaian girl? your wizkid, davido, etc flies to Ghana more than 10 times a year. ask yourself how many of our artistes bother to visit Nigeria? every song in Ghana is already a hit in Nigeria, eg one corner- the guy didn't even have to come to Nigeria but his song is already popular. another example is Tonga, even Nigerian artists tried to free style on the song. so the question is : are Nigerians addicted and obsessed with Ghanaians?

lastly dude, we don't have time to protest, the average Ghanaian is always working to generate money and enjoy life but can I say some for Nigeria? it's a No! just last week Federal government has to call for truce between striking workers and the government. now I even heard most of your doctors are leaving in drones to abroad, if life is so good why is that happening? the average Ghanaian government worker earns more than the Nigerian. come and see how well we treat our doctors. no wonder Nigerians fly to Ghana for treatment.

we also eat quality foods hear in Ghana so no citizens of ours encounters monkey pox or cholera.
so dude, the thing is yes Ghana is a little expensive than Nigeria but all we get is quality and increased life expectancy but life is cheap and of less quality in Nigeria where your citizens are always shortchanged by your government.

Drink more milo cheesy grin
hahaha that's so funny. what they dont know is that because of their cheap standard of living and their dubious means in Nigeria, they think they are rich until they travel to Ghana , s. a or USA then they know they are poor. the most funny thing is they complain like crybabies.

women of today are very greedy. many wives want it all from their husbands yet they aren't ready to offer any financial contribution in return. if you let your wife know how much you earn, it's very certain that you will be broke and most of the time you will end up borrowing.

the fact that we live in Ghana should tell you that we can afford it. come to Ghana and see the type of cars we use over here. even slums have light because they can afford it. I laugh anytime you Nigerians come here and boast of being rich, in no time many of you become broke and humble.

It’s totally appalling and nauseating to see these greedy and unpatriotic Nigerian coming here to compare one of the most infrastructurely advanced country in Africa to countries like Ghana, Togo and the rest.

The only country in Africa that match Nigeria as far as infrastructures is concerned is Egypt. And the only one that beat Nigeria hands down is South Africa. However, i have not been to all Africa countries but if you like the Annual budgets of those ones i am yet to visit, you don’t need anybody to tell you how it would look like.

In the land of blind, one eyed man ll look like a king. This is the case of Nigeria in Africa. If you are talking about infrastructures in Europe and America, then, Nigeria is 50years behind...
for a country you claim is infrastructurally developed, shouldn't it be having electricity, water, quality hospitals, schools, etc in every state? why is Nigeria lagging behind in these areas when you compare her to Egypt, Algeria and South Africa?

Let's see if we can win Iceland and force a draw with Argentina and Croatia, we'll be through as 2nd most likely.

We should be able to handle Iceland and Croatia is not so great a team. Argentina is the main worry.
Iceland is stronger than Croatia. I think Nigeria can beat Croatia and draw or beat Argentina but they shouldn't underate Iceland. they disgraced England at the euros last year

he is probably sitting behind a laptop in a room somewhere in Ghana trying to scam a white woman using Ghanaian IP address and even pretending to be Ghanaian on the internet.

very soon this digital addressing system and national id will help us track and deport garbages like him.
