FamilyRe: Sick Musa Under The Town Planning Bridge Linking Ilupeju To Anthony Village by SureGee001(m): 7:57pm On Oct 23, 2016
As i couldn't take my mind off Musa all through the night, i and friend paid him a visit this afternoon. He was quite full of life today as he narrated his ordeal. He is from Borno State......Chibok to be precise, he spoke in Hausa and was interpreted by a Hausa guy selling stuffs on the Pedestrian Bridge. He said when the war started, he and his friends two in number left the village with no destination in mind. They walked a couple of days without food and water until they boarded a bus coming to Lagos with the little cash they had on them.

On arrival, there was no family nor acquaintance to stay with, so they resulted to begging for alms around Ojodu Berger. On a fateful day, the Lagos State Task Force came to arrest all the beggars around there and they were inclusive. They took all of them to a camp in Ikorodu where they were maltreated and starved off all the essentials of life. He and his friends were incarcerated for over 6 months because they had no one to come bail them out. He lost one one his friend(kabir) during this process, he also recalled been told his body will be dumped in the Canal once he dies.

As they saw his condition worsened, they took him in a bus and dumped him in the night and that's all he can remember.

We got him food, drinks and some cloths to change into. People around discouraged the idea of giving him cash because he was been robbed in the night by street urchins around the neighborhood. We have also decided to get a nurse to come check him out tomorrow and see if medications can be administered. He's willing to return to Borno State once he's hail and hearty.

I decided to pay Musa a visit after reading this topic and i was moved to tears. He is so weak and can barely stand upright, He's in desperate need of medical attention. This topic has gone far to the extent i met a guy that came to check up on him after reading this post.

Let's all rally round to see how we can give him a better life than what he's getting now.
