How did Buhari give him power? Na yesterday dem born this one. Buhari played the roles of an opposition during the electioneering period and his anti-Tinubu’s actions made the emergency lovers of Nigeria .i.e the headless children of Ipob to suddenly forgive Buhari, the failure and his foot soldier, Emefiele.
Buhari deserves all the insults. The weakest military personnel Nigeria ever produced. He failed both in the eighties and now.
Tinubu not sending anybody papa shows that he isn’t a puppet (which could have been the case if we had elected Obi or Osinbajo)
I became particularly interested in Tinubu when the cabals started getting jittery and working against him because it’s obvious they knew he wasn’t controllable.
you didn't get the picture, it was all planned work, without buhari, Tinubu would not have been president ,buhari is not naive Jonathan

what has custom duties got to do with cbn,I thought cbn is in charge of monetary policy, while taxes and duties are fiscal policies
That was how the former cbn governor left central banking to delve into commercial banking, disbursing loan to farmers, which ended in disaster

Most definitely you just use words without knowing their meaning. Did you say delusion? You think I'm the only one who think PDP was abysmal during their time too, I laugh in Chinese. Patricia Etteh is not dead, Diezani Alison-Madueke is still alive, That NIMASA thief, Akpobolokemi never kpai, so is Dimeji Bankole the House of Rep Speaker. These are people who made headlines and there was something common about all of them. They were PDP people and they siphoned our national treasure. Pray, what is delusional about these names and events? You could be in the nursery school then or you are simply stark raving bonkers for choosing to delete these bogus facts from your corrupted medulla. Rádaràda!
go and seat down, it's your apc that lack capacity that ruined the economy and the country, starting with buhari now clueless Tinubu has continued along the same part of destruction
I am sure you are currently living in mass that's why you're not aware of humongous pillaging of the treasury perpetrated by buhari and his goons, even ordinary recharge card seller tunde sabiu is reputed to be a trillionare, and many others like that that are still unfolding daily or is it the forgery at the cbn,my brother pdp dey learn where apc dey, besides during pdp the people rejoice, except deceivers like apc who wanted to take over power, now the apc is in power and the people are gnashing their teeth and in severe pain
You guys should quit buck and blame passing, look for competent hands to join your government
Good governance is what we need ,no one is interested in something spoil before, if you know ,you don't have the competence why take up the job.Thank God you guys have finally been tested and has been found to be thoroughly incompetent, except in the areas of lies and propaganda

Politics / Re: Tinubu Policies Gradually Paying Off by surgical: 7:31am On Mar 27
predictor1:
What he wants to achieve and what he is already achieving bit by bit is to stabilize the economy and reduce budget deficits. Jonathan and buhari nearly destroyed Nigeria's economy with their mismanagement. You were buying fuel at a crazily subsidized rate of #200 when Ghana a fellow oil producer was selling at #900 a litre and you didn't know they were borrowing to make that happen. Naira was weak because we were importing way too much but it was at #400 official rate and you believed that was the true value of the naira.

Look, if Tinubu had not taken over from that idiot buhari, Nigeria would have ended up like Argentina or Lebanon. Argentine peso was 9 to a dollar in 2015, today it's 850. Lebanese pound to a dollar is 36,000. Those countries made the same mistakes Nigeria had been making, subsidizing fuel and shoring up their currencies artificially.

Tinubu knew you wouldn't understand but he is moving ahead anyway.
Every government that has always taken this road that you are advocating and Tinubu was taking before, has always lead to golgota and always end badly as you have observed
The true value of naira you people are advocating is a hoax, theoretical at best
You can not set true value of naira by market forces like they wanted to do which they have stopped and returned to status quo though, they won't agree, like the re introduction of subsidy
These are policy summersult confirming it was not well thought out,you are still there believing the former policy is still on ,you need to check back with them.
You cannot use market forces in Nigeria, the market here cannot allocate resources efficiently, there are too many distortions, that is why copy and paste solution is bad
Apply solutions that correspond to your situation

Tinubu no doubts is a strategist. Our currency is recovering every day. If the naira continued this trend it will be back to where it was at ₦700 before Tinubu took over. Kudos to the government for staying focus to achieve their set goals
700 was black market rate not the official rate, buhari official rate was 490
I still don't understand what Tinubu wants to achieve with his jagbajantis economics

How old are you? You could be too young to have an awareness of what PDP's corrupt 16 years of misrule was or could be you have a short memory, so short you've forgotten so soon. Nigeria's woes didn't just start. It's a conundrum. It's cumulative! I don't have any misgivings about your rants about Buhari or Tinubu. Be objective when you criticize is all.
This your narrative is stale, nobody buys this craps again, even your ogas that invented it have since moved on to blame it on other regime, buhari is the new fall guy now

Why put the cart before the horse, what products does Nigeria export, that you want to devalue naira to make it competitive, first create the export economy and then match it to a competitive rate, when you import majorly, you burden your people with high exchange rate
You can use fiscal policies to discourage importation and reduce pressure on your reserve

seunowa:

Your write-up shows that you are lacking in basic understanding in certain segments of the national economy. Let me make short explanation to you. Prior to Tinubu administration, past governments defended naira in the forex market with billions of dollars. The value of naira at that time was not it's true value. And it gave room for illicit funds by dubious elements in the society. This is totally unattractive to prospective investors because it portrays us as a wasteful and non-challant nation to the outside world.
These are the narratives, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has come to correct in order to attain the status of a great and prosperous nation.
Yes, it comes with pain and anguish but in the end gain and prosperity will come with right policies frameworks.
Tinubu is on right track.
oga the,Tinubu was deceived by voodoo economist cum that he wanted acceptance of the western world, that's why he threw his people under the bus
In previous government there was foreign investors not that your Tinubu has found the true value of naira, why are investors divesting from the economy
You see the actions of Tinubu in managing the economy cannot be defended by the most brilliant economist, except enemy of the state
The results is there for everyone to see,if it was a right move,it will have reflected same in the economy

Politics / Re: Now That The Allocations To States Had Increased by surgical: 9:18am On Mar 24
The governors are seating idly and watching Tinubu systematically set the people against them
First he destroyed the economy and put the blame on the governors as not doing enough, he passed the bulk of palliative to them ,meanwhile he did not give them the amount he pledged to give, again he has indicated that if state police fails it is the governor, now his announcing increment in allocation with emphasis as if the allocation has significantly increased ,if those allocation are converted to dollars at todays rates ,the allocation will not be as fantastic as Tinubu boys are claiming, the value of what it can execute has greatly reduced, the savings the governor are likely to gain is the difference from salary that have remained stagnant despite the general rise in prices
Tinubu is just looking to divert attention from himself, and he is the achietect of the problems
He should rethink his monetary and fiscal policies
